I just got done grubbing down there and the food was excellent. There was only one waitress and she was a lil slow on the service but not enough to complain. She was super nice and took good care of us...this isn't my first time to this spot and defiantly won't be the last...I have to agree with Sean b....all the haters need to realize that it's an ihop not a five star restaurant, I don't go to McDonalds and expect prime rib...it is what it is...it's breakfast food....it's the place you go when traveling or extremely hung over....love this place. read more

Middle aged lady that waits on tables closest to the parking lot (east side of the building) and the front of the building was very rude when we mentioned the table and menus were dirty and sticky. It caused us to leave and eat somewhere else. She ripped the menus out of our hand and said "we are usually clean" and then walked off. We left and won't be back. For the inflated prices, the place should be polished. The sad thing is that they will not learn because they are always slammed with business. They must accept EBT. read more

This place keeps reducing their hours. When we first started coming here years ago, it was 24 hour. Then it became 24 hours only on Fridays and Saturdays. Now it's open 6am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. We would go here more often if we could be sure of what the damn hours are. Other than that it's your typical IHOP, for better or worse. I'm just annoyed that IHOPs apparently have stopped making certain dishes, such as the international passport crepes, available at night. Customer beware 1 star ouch phone order the order of 4 Omelette's not a special order just straight off there menu and they did manage to get 3 right 1 wrong so not real bad other than the vegetarian did get a all meat one? but the real issue is that I called in the order at 9:44AM and I was told 10 Min so I arrived in 20 and guess what order not ready and so I waited and waited and waited and 17 Min later got the wrong order wow and I thought Denny's was bad. The new menu was great. We loved the variety of uncommon menu items. I tried the cheeseburger omelette. Delicious, but definitely needs cheese inside the omelette. Cheese was only on the outside so there was nothing to hold it together with each bite, it fell apart making it difficult to eat. On the negative side of things, both my daughters had T-bones and they were the worst ever. They were dry and flakey like they had been freezer burned. Still a good evening regardless. When we arrived it was rush hour, very nice server and service. Cheryl, our server, was quick with the refills. We were seated right away. Food was a wait which is understandable. I love having breakfast for dinner every once in a while. We went late in the evening the last two times and hardly any customers were there. The service is always good we got our food fast and we weren't rushed. The music is nice, they play oldies and the atmosohere nice. I hlHop breakfast is my wife's preferred pancake house. Although the parking lot was full, I walked in and was immediately seated. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. My wife ordered the tres leche pancakes. They were super sweet. So sweet as she had to exchange them for a regular buttermilk pancakes. She thinks the next time she will ask for them without the caramel or with maybe half the caramel. I order a classic pancakes eggs sausage breakfast hash browns. My eggs were supposed to be over medium but came back over easy. Not really much to complain about because I eat both :-) but because getting what you want is an important service point, they should have made sure they were right. Side note. When did they stop serving toast breakfast? The sauge was good but not better than Denny's and the bacon was a little rubbery but not too thin. Our first time to this IHOP in this area, I stopped by for breakfast with family, we were seated right away, took a cool minute for our waitress she was an older lady with auburn hair to attend us, took 15 minutes for us to receive our drinks, which was simply not complex 1 coffee 2 OJ and 3 waters she came back with 1 coffee 2 OJ and 1 water, so I had to wait another 5 minutes to get my water, as we are about to order our food I asked for a order of strawberry cream crepe combo with eggs bacon and fries, she got my combo plate correct and when she handed me my crepes plate it was just had one crepe and I was confused because it's either 2 or 4 crepes that come in an order, so I approached her about it and she tells me oh it only comes with 1 but if I would like she can order me another one and I said it's fine as I'm about to eat my crepe I notice a brown filling inside and notice she ordered me the strawberry vanilla spice crepe, so again I approach her and tell her I asked for the strawberry cream crepes and she tells me that's no longer in the menu that what they have is in the promotion and I'm looking at the promotion and it says TWO crepes of and I said okay I don't want this anymore and she offered me nutella crepes and I said no thank so then she said she can add cream with attitude and I said okay finally she brought me my strawberry cream crepes but the cream tasted like tres leche but at that point I just wanted to get out of there. Why order me a what's on the promotion? That I never asked for. Why lie to your customer that the crepes only come with one crepe. Don't lie. read more

I always appreciate the friendly staff and service here. The bathrooms are always tidy and clean. Even on the busiest day, the employees still manage to give great service, and they are all so friendly! We especially like and appreciate Tonya! She has a great personality and is very attentive. So, I have no clue why anyone would give this place anything less than 4 stars. They're probably difficult customers to begin with, and nothing could make them happy. I live in Vegas and wouldn't go to an Ihop there if it were free. On the way home from Disneyland and starving, we went anyway. The wife had a half way decent sandwich. I had a Colorado omelette. I guess the name means it was made in Colorado and driven by bike courier late last week. So gross, I won't complain as I should have known better. 9:32pm Saturday on feb 16. I left really annoyed. Me and my boyfriend stop and the lady's their barely wanted to say hello, almost like a "ugh customers face" . I said hello before they said anything. Anyway we still sit down and the server says "me or the other server will be right with you" which was weird because there was only 1 other couple there. So we wait. Then I say "they are taking forever you wana leave?" To my bf and he says "no she's coming " but turns out no she wasn't . We wait another minute and decide "let's go". I had a nice lady ONCE but even then the other girl was rude, didn't even say happy birthday to my mother which is fine but I mean the other girl SANG! By herself . So I went to dennys and guess what!? Full restaurant !! And I mean full! Better service but Its not hard to beat your girls there considering they were bad. My family and I went to IHOP Saturday and this is the second visit in a row that we were very happy with the entire experience. Our waiter Josh was fantastic and provided really good service. I saw the Manager running all over the place backing up her staff and it really shows what a difference a hard working manager can make. This place was really busy yet every one was smiling and providing great food and service. So tomorrow is my Daughter Birthday and she has a coupon for free pancakes, so we came to this obe because she like this one better. Well after today I will never eat here again. After got seated we look at the menu and I was going to get the pancakes combo, so we made our choice and was waiting for our waitress to come and take our order, after some time we just sat there and waited, in the meantime two guys got seated behind us in a matter of min they got ask what would you like to drink and then got there order taken, and yet we still wait, ok I thought no big deal so we still wait, the hostess finally came over and ask if we would like something to drink, I was so mad I told her that if my daughter was not here for her free Birthday pancakes I would have left. So I did order anything then after sometime someone finalky came over and wanted to take our order. So LaNay got her pancakes so was a little sad that things happen like it did so she ask for a box to put her pancakes. She gave the waitess her paper and we waited for her to come back and say everything ok, we finally got up and chased her down to ask if we were free to go and her answer was oh yes and I said well it would have been nice if you would have cam and told us we were sitting there waiting on you to come back to our table and let us know. They need to find a cook smart enough to know how to cook fried eggs over medium, which is the whites of the eggs are done and the yolks soft. I do it at home all the time and I'm no chef or fry cook. When I got my eggs I knew by just looking at them that the whites were runny and after cutting into them they looked like snot. I was going to tell our server to send them back and let the dishwasher cook them right, but I was afraid the cook would spit on them or something so I didn't eat them. Anyone can cook pancakes and that is all the so called cook got right. Our server Shelby did come by a few times and ask us if we needed anything, but like me she was in no mood to smile, I'm thinking maybe she had breakfast there. I left her a $5.00 tip and paid the $28.38 bill. I will never go back to any IHOP period. When I'm back in Hesperia I know where a Denny's is, just caddy corner across Main ST from IHOP. read more
