Finally got to try dinner and we enjoyed it just as much as our breakfast. Tried the new fried hashbrowns and they were delish!!! Cracker Barrel is our go to spot when we out on our way to Las vegas.
Made a visit to Victorville just to dine here. Pancakes were great, I like them both blueberry and pecan, the syrup that came with in a cute little bottle was warm and delicious. Eggs were fresh and bacon was done right, crispy and light. I didn't like the fried steak, but I did enjoy the meatloaf. Meatloaf was seasoned well. Dining experience was great, service was very friendly and polite. Love the gift shop, we bought some unique bottled drinks here. Plenty of parking space.
Background: I'm an avid roadtripper and have never been to a Cracker Barrel in over 100 trips even though I would always see them at roadside exits. Until now. And I'm a new fan of an old favorite! The food is old timey, country style cooking. It never occurred to me until I tried it but this is the style of cooking that those tv dinners try to emulate, but this food is so much better. It won't win any culinary awards but the portions are huge, food is rib-stickingly satisfying, and it's a guarantee that you'll leave completely full and very likely with leftovers for the next day. The prices are pretty fair too- it was about $20 for a full dinner w 3 sides and 2 biscuits, which was about the same cost but twice the food as the meager fast food option I got the day prior. Between the two I would go for this place every time. It was so nice being on the road and having a real food option without breaking the bank
I have long wanted to visit a Cracker Barrel and my two primary options in the LA are the locations in Rialto and Victorville. On my last road trip to Las Vegas, I made the decision to stop for brunch in Victorville. It is essential to reserve a table online at the CB website. I did so about 30 minutes in advance and, when I arrived, was shown to my table almost immediately. The restaurant was startingly packed and I was so thankful that I had made a reservation in advance. The menu is so large that it can be hard to pick. We settled on the Country Fried Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes, as well as the Shrimp Plate with fries, fried apples, and hashbrown casserole. Three of us shared these plates. With the complimentary bread basket of corn muffins and biscuits, it was more than enough food. Service was very warm and cordial. Staff try very hard to be friendly but I did feel like food was slow to come out. I liked that portions were big and there are a lot of options on the menu. The food is southern/comfort food so some of it was a bit heavy for me. As for the food, I wished we didn't order two fried entrees, but that was our decision. We got to try all the sides I really wanted - the fried apples, which tasted like apple pie filling, and the hashbrown casserole, which are loaded hashbrowns with bacon and cheese. We were pleasantly surprised by the light seasoning on the green beans. For the mashed potatoes, they let us try both brown gravy and white gravy and white is the way to go. The brown tasted like it was from a packet. Nothing wowed me, but I was satisfied with the homey meal and glad I got the sit in the rocking chairs out front.
Ordered Cracker Barrel delivery and, even though I'm not usually a big breakfast food person, the hobo skillet did not disappoint. It had a good mix of ingredients and was filling. I ate it when it arrived and again later, and it still held up well both times. Definitely plenty of food for the price. I can't really speak to the environment or in-store service since it was delivery, but based on the food alone, I'd order it again.
We went in during a holiday and surprisingly we were seated pretty fast. Even though the place was crowded, we were given a comfortable table for seven, which was a nice start to our visit. My family actually arrived before me, so by the time I got there they had already ordered and had their drinks on the table. Once I sat down, it felt like our server was extremely busy. When she came to take our orders, there was a bit of an intimidating vibe, like we needed to order quickly because she had a lot going on. I usually like to ask for recommendations, but when I did she mentioned that she was new and did not really know what to suggest. I was originally going to order the country fried steak, but I noticed the two meals for $19.99 deal for two people and decided to switch it up. We ended up getting the cinnamon roll skillet along with the Old Timer's breakfast, which came with two sausages, eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits. We also ordered the crispy homestyle chicken with sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Everything was delicious and the price was honestly a great deal. I was especially impressed with the fried chicken because I usually am not a big fan of fried chicken, but this one was really good. The portions were generous too and we ended up with leftovers. For drinks, I had a hot chocolate mixed with coffee. It was good at first, but after a while it became a bit too sweet. The orange juice was also a little sour. Overall, the food was excellent and while the service experience was just okay, it would not stop us from coming back. The delicious food and good value definitely make Cracker Barrel worth returning to.
Did a pit stop before heading to Vegas. I have to say everything was great. I got the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. And it was so delicious nothing was left on my plate. I had hot chocolate which I was surprised that the cup was bigger than other restaurants. The service was great. And I also can't get over how cute the store was. I wanted to buy so many items.
The food was really good and the service was excellent. I liked the decorations inside. They even have games at the table and a checker table for you while you wait for your food. I recommend the country fried chicken and pancakes.
The service was a disaster, Camron the manager was talking to my daughter like she was one of her employees, all because she (Camron) messed up our order. Rude disrespectful and they still messed up our orders!!!!
Let's start with the service. Ashleigh was amazing, very friendly and tentative to everything we needed. Shout out to Ana and the really nice young lady at the register. The ambiance is warm and inviting. I love the fireplace, and it was actually cool outside so I'm glad they had it on. My food was delicious. I had the blueberry pancakes and the Mr had steak and shrimp. Don't forget to stop by the little store, kinds of goodies. I was so impressed I signed up for the rewards program... can't wait to come back.
Surprise visit for breakfast The restaurant was packed so i thought it was gonna be able to be seated but nope. Got a table quickly and got our order taken fast. Our waiter was very friendly and very attentive. The food came out in a reasonable time. You guys redeemed yourself in this visit no complaints at all.
I love breakfast and this is a great breakfast spot. Cracker Barrel had a store connected to the restaurant. It's great to walk around and see all the things they have. I decided to go with my favorite country fried steak. I got biscuits and pancake as my sides. Both choice was great. I really enjoyed the pancakes. My eggs were cooked well. The best part was our server. She was awesome. She made dining here even better. They have a big parking lot where you can park at. If you're planning on making your way to or from Vegas, this will be a great pit stop.
So this was my introduction to the Cracker Barrel. Understand this if you're not famished or a big back there is no need to order shareables. I didn't know this going in, so we went for the deal for beignets and loaded tater tots. Understand me tater tots are one of my favorite forms of spud and there were great. The Beignets hot and fresh with syrup were perfect. My enter Granpa's Country Fried Breakfast. This came with one large chicken fried steak, two sunny side up eggs, hash brown casserole as well as biscuits and gravy . That was a lot!! The chicken fried steak and gravy with the richness of the egg yolk was phenomenal. You know I love sunny side up eggs. The hash brown casserole was a first for me but I want it again and again. Then finishing with hot biscuits, softened butter smothered in gravy. In so many words Love in a plate. Forgive me because I got a head of myself and I didn't mention Jessica yet. Jessica was super sweet and friendly throughout the meal. I truly hope her managers appreciate her efforts because we did, thank you Jess. read more

The service here was horrible. Cracker Barrel is known for good food and customer service but this restaurant here lacks both. Our waitress was non existent and no where in sight. I had to get up twice to go and ask for service at the retail section. When I spoke to the manager she was nice yet I felt unheard. She looked at me as if I was asking for a free meal and genuinely I was just being honest. Restaurant service needs to get it together. I even had to ask if my meal came with bread in which it did and I wouldn't have received it if I didn't ask for it. No refills either, not sure why service was so bad on an empty Wednesday. The restaurant was clean and cool on a hot day. As a customer service manager I see that staff and management need more training. The retail part of the restaurant was excellent and super apologetic and helpful, thank you. read more

Such a great atmosphere, decorations, fun novelty store, nice service, and yummy food. The broccoli I ordered for my take-out Thursday Turkey meal came out perfect! Very fresh, no dark spots. You can tell it was steamed and not microwaved like how BJs and Outback does. read more

The best experience ever! My family and I love coming to cracker barrel and this location never disappoints!! We came back from Vegas and we were so hungry we took pictures after lol. The food is always amazing! It was busy but we got seated as soon as we walked in! A+++ It's always so clean and fast. We had the best server Alicia A, biggest shoutout to her! She was nice and so quick with everything! She has the best energy! Definitely will recommend her! read more
As much as I enjoy Cracker Barrel breakfast any other time this was not it. I will say the fish was fried decent. The grits tasted old for some reason. Like they used old water. They had a very weird distinct taste. The apples again tasted old they were not naturally mushy like when you usually cook apples. And if you're from the south or have family from the south you know that these are not real fried apples. These are more like stewed apples but again not even stewed because they have no juice they're just dry. They just did not taste right. So they got sent back to the kitchen. The hush puppies were still a little bit raw inside and doughy. I don't know if it's because I came later in the day around the early evening that everything else wasn't fresh. This is not my first time coming to this Cracker Barrel and I will give them another chance. read more

Stopped here to use the supercharger and grab a bite. Loved the vibe here. Wish I could remember our server's name. She was great even though they were very busy on a Saturday late morning. You can see in the pics some of the food we ate. We liked it all, save for the biscuits and gravy, but that's probably personal taste. Ribs were super yummy, but we were told it would be removed from the menu soon. read more

Food was great, pancakes were some of the best I've ever had! But service was a bit lacking especially if you compared it with other cracker barrel locations. Our servers were very nice but I think they were understaffed or perhaps more preoccupied with the larger groups around us. I didn't get my bread side with my meal until toward the end after having asking twice. But our server did make it up by bringing me both corn muffins and biscuits. Ambience is identical to other locations, and I really love that! Transporting you into an entirely different place! Restrooms were clean. As a SoCal resident with very limited options for cracker barrel locations, I would say the Rialto location was far superior but also that much more busy! read more

Cashier lied about adding my purchases to my points. Was very rude and dismissive!! Shooed me away like a dog. Manager lied said it was added. I asked for proof she said call cust Serv. Cracker Barrel DOES NOT HAVE A CUST SERV. Only "AI" chatbot. After 30 mins I got a LIVE "CHAT. She said it was NOT ADDED. With the empl and manager LYING THE DECIET AT THIS RESTAURANT MUST RUN DEEP. The meatloaf was dry and old it had been sitting for awhile. read more

The place is not good & not worth it.
Can I just stop by to look at the stuff they sell at the store?
Yea you don't have to eat there
Do you have patio or dine in options?
Yes, they have both a outdoor tent seating area and dine in. I did the dine in last week and it felt safe. The tables were very far apart, everything looked clean, staff wearing masks, etc
Please come to the Sunland/Tujunga/Shadow Hills area. It's the ideal spot for this restaurant. Seeing the decor motive fits perfectly for the area?
