The customer service I experienced was mediocre, the food was awful, and my order was made incorrectly. I asked for the chicken fried steak breakfast with fresh fruit instead of pancakes, I received a very dry chicken fried steak w cold eggs/pancakes and the fruit. So they messed up and took out my hash browns (one of the best parts of the breakfast tbh) instead of the pancakes. Karen is very rude.. Very disappointed in the service received after being so excited to come here after arriving back in town from overseas. First thing that was extremely rude and uncomfortable was that as soon as myself and my guests arrived in the restaurant the women in the front approx 53 years of age 5'8'' Caucasion with short burgundy hair first thing that comes out of her mouth was "please don't tell me your here for the pancake promotion because that ended at 7pm" we all looked at another and uncomfortably stated no we are not here for that and don't know anything regarding that. We are here to eat and will order pancakes but not here for any promotion. She then stated "well are you going to done here or leave?" Obviously we were here to eat, we stated to her we would like a booth or corner area as to we would be discussing privacy matters. She then stated "don't you see this place they are all dirty plus I need to hunt down silverware so you will sit wherever is available. Again we looked stunned. We were seated at a table that had jelly smears on table, water all over it, no silverware, no jelly, no salt, no pepper, no sugars absolutely nothing but spilt drink and food very dirty table. We then sat at the table for approximately 16 minutes while multiple staff members including the woman with short hair just passed us by and gave us no acknowledgment. We kept looking around thinking maybe that we had to get up and order since it was 8pm. Finally KASEY CAME TO THE RESCUE and was so nice and apologetic to us and got us glasses of water. She then took our order and is amazing truly we were about to walk out and go to dennys. My wife is a writer for the local newspaper The Hanford Sentinel and we discussed placing our experience in the paper. I am beyond words for the attitude of the lady in the front she is so rude and we watched her be rude to every single guest around us. Now on to the food it was cold as if it sat in the kitchen for 20 minutes before being brought to the table. The eggs were sunny side up but whomever plated the plate seemed to have accidently broken the yolk onto the plate and served it anyway. The sausage was plated under the French toast, just very unappealing and wrong.  The hash browns were completely BLACK and burned and hard as a rock. The ham was so gummy and cold inside and had a green tint to it. We asked for a refill of water was told we would have to wait until someone was finished cleaning to get to us, so wife went to the car and grabbed her bottle of dasani water. I will never come to this place again, I will tell all the people I know of this experience, my wife wants to publish her experience with her newspaper and I've told her to simmer down, but she is free to share.  I honestly felt most uncomfortable with the LADY UP FRONT had she not been here I could forgive all other issues with this experience, but she made it 1000 tomes worse with her prejediced attitude and demeanor. She is so rude and management and corporate really need to look into her. As I sit and write this my wife discovers there are a ton of negative reports and reviews online about her.... had we known this we would have steered clear. Please someone get this woman out of working the front of the restaurant. read more

Service was greatly improved from my last visit seven months ago AND no flies this time. That was a HUGE improvement. Servings are average , menu very limited unless you are in the mood for pancakes or waffles. read more

He's not even well groomed his nails are longer than my dogs and all dirty!!! Destiney your front counter person seems like she's on crack and doesn't know from left to right!!! Horrible service. I came to bring my grandma and family to eat we've came in the past and they typically have great service but today was nothing like that. First the server was very rude. I understand some people have bad days but when you work in the fast food industry customer service is everything, I work in food myself and I can tell you the service was inadequate. "Roxanna," took a long time to take our order, did not check up on us and after we asked for a refill she was standing there talking to a coworker in front of us before doing so. Very disappointed in the experience I just had at this location. Our table was very dirty, the service was appallingly slow, and according to our waiter, the manager insisted that rather than allow me to have the sides that come with their $10.99 breakfast combo included in their Veterans Day promotion and charge me the $5 difference in price between the pancakes and sides, I was told I had to pay for each side individually. That would have cost me more than the breakfast combo. While disappointed by the experience I'd had up until being told that I had to pay for those sides separately, I figured I would at least stick with the pancakes. After waiting over 20 minutes for those pancakes, I ended up leaving. Regardless of whether I was there for Veterans Day or any other day, the experience I had at this location today was the worst experience I have ever had at an IHOP. Not very impressive. Service was not good. Saw our server only 3 times. Didn't get any refills. Didn't get a full amount of food. Waited almost 20 mins to receive drinks. The bathrooms have a pin code lock and servers weren't always available to open the door. We had to wait for another customer to come out to use the bathroom. When we were ready to check out, we couldn't even check out because we had to wait to be checked out by the waiter only. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

I love their pancakes! New York Cheesecake pancakes are my favorite. Food is always good and fresh. Normally we have breakfast there and it's those many different choices I have on pancakes that keep me coming back for more. I love the fact that you have you own coffee pot at your table. We came from San Diego, and wanted to go somewhere for breakfast. We stopped here and the service was already horrible. I ordered the Belgian waffle combo and not only my food was cold but my plate looked like a kids meal. My scrambled eggs were rubbery and small for two eggs, and one greasy piece of bacon and sausage. I was not happy with the food at all! Also, why do all the waitress have to wear so much makeup and false lashes ? I'm all for makeup when it's a nice natural look, but not when it looks like they're going to a party after their shift . My husband and i went today around 3:00p. The place was pretty empty besides one table with a couple. Once seated, I'm assuming it was the MANAGER, that took our order. We placed our drink order and about 5 min later our food order. Food came out and still no drinks. We waited another 5 min before flagging down a cook to ask if he let the manager know we still hadn't gotten our drinks. Never did he come over to ask how the food was or if we needed anything. We finished our drinks and put them near the edge so he could see we needed a refill...nothing. We waited for the check but the guy was no where to be seen. We just attempted to have a late dinner and ended up walking out before our drink orders were even taken. The waitress was rude from the get-go, staring at us until we finally said "we have a party of six". We asked for a table slightly away from the other three tables (the restaurant was nearly empty) since three of our diners were children, and she told us we couldn't sit where we requested. We finally were seated and watched her walk from the front to straightening tables for nearly fifteen minutes, not acknowledging us at all. We finally got up to leave and she asked if we were leaving. When we told her we would not be dining, she just said "oh, sorry" and went about her business. Just moved to the area and this was our first time to this IHOP. Right away I was impressed how clean this IHOP is. We were promptly greeted (with a smile) by the host. Our server (Eliza) was at our table within a minute of being sat. Once again we were greeted with a smile..... So far the restaurant is very clean and all the staff seem very friendly. I ordered the new California scramble and my wife ordered chicken fajita omelette. We both ordered pancakes with our meals. Food was out promptly (about 10ish minutes). Food presentation was great! I knew just by looking at the food is was going to be great AND IT WAS!!! It was so good. Love the avocados with the eggs. Our server was great about checking on us and getting refills. Before coming here I was a little hesitated due to other comments but our experience was amazing and we will for sure be back! The staff is amazing! I love going to IHOP for breakfast but there seems to be an ongoing trend at this location. The last few times we've been to this location there always seems to be one family who's kid is on a tablet or phone with the volume way too loud. Now I know this isn't IHOP's fault but a manager should have the guts to approach these customers who do this and tell them they need to turn it down. Their lack of parenting skills shouldn't disrupt other customers in the restaurant and management needs to address the situation. read more

The only IHOP within 40 miles and the service was extremely slow. It took nearly 35 minutes to have it out. The coffee was weak as if it was decaf. The staff are pleasant and friendly, but this has to be one of the slowest customer service IHops I've ever been too. 30 minutes just to get our drink order taken, 20 more minutes to get said drinks, and an additional 30 plus minutes for food. Come in on a saturday. Was expecting quick service as with most restaurant like this. Told them needed a seat for two and waited. Was slightly busy so expected to wait. Got seated pretty quickly. Was put in and far back corner and could see the whole dinning room floor. Sat down and waited for 30 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. I watched the waiter visit about a dozen tables before even coming to ares including people who had been seated after us. Once the order was placed took another 45 minutes to even receive are food. The food here is delicious i have no complaints about that but every time ive came in the service is horrible. There is noone ever up front And it always takes forever to get drinks. Theres been at least 4 or 5 times ive gone in and the manager is always sitting with customers just chatting away. Ive even complained to her about a drink and she asked who my server was and it still took forever to get it. And again i looked and she was sitting doing nothing. Am sorry but thats not professional at all when u have coustomers complaining and the place is full.
