Absolute worst IHOP location. We have given this three tries since it is close to our house. First, if you order using the IHOP app with curbside pickup they won't bring the food out to you. Sat waiting for 15 minutes after the assigned pickup time and checking in through the app. No food. Went in and it was sitting on the counter cold. Next, true for this location every time we go, multiple items were just missing from the order. They acted put out when we asked for the missing items we paid for. Hostess was playing on her phone the entire time. Had to pay extra for syrup for our pancake order. WTAF? Paid the extra and I'll be damned they gave us SALSA instead of syrup. How hard is it? Apparently pretty damn hard for the people that work here. I'm convinced everyone working here can't read or is high on a Sunday morning at work. If you want to smoke pot on a Sunday morning, that's cool, just don't work the Sunday shift or find another job you can do while stoned. This was the last time we will go. They need new managers. Seriously, it's a dumpster fire. read more

This is the second time I've had this waitress and I do not like the payment process! She did not provide me with a receipt so I could review the charges and I had to insist for a copy. Then, the preprogrammed option for tipping starts at 18% and goes up. Next, she stands over you while she holds the payment pad! This is so awkward and annoying that I will not be back! read more

My first introduction was very welcoming with my waitress Cathy. she took my drink order very quickly and came back and informed me that orange juice wasn't an option at the moment. I ordered the breakfast tacos with a side of seasonal fruit. The fruit was fresh and the breakfast taco was plentiful of bacon and cheese and of course egg. I can't knock the staff for the terrible quality of salsa provided with the great breakfast tacos. It being fall season I had to try the "pumpkin spice" pancakes (order of 2). I can only vouch for breakfast. We usually stop here on our way home to Ovilla, Texas. I have no complaints, it's hard to mess up breakfast I believe. Our last stop earlier this month they seemed to be semi short staffed. That's typical everywhere still. But the team they had were definitely working together and keeping everything moving. As soon as we arrived we got seated in a tight space which i would of been fine with if i wasn't pregnant. The whole time i was uncomfortable . We ordered our food which we received pretty fast and it was really good. We asked for tabasco and received a bottle with very little amount . For a place that wasnt busy we could of gotten any other spot that wasnt tight . Other than that the service was excellent. read more

It took 45 minutes to get our food with 5 orders. We were charged for a kid's drink, ordered a chicken sandwich, and got a burger. Tables who came in after us got their food and left quicker than we did. Normally this doesn't bother us but we had 4 kids and were traveling. We spent way too long there. Came here for breakfast yesterday and we had Dalton as a server. He was so great! He went way out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even offered us hot syrup which I've never been offered at any IHOP ever. The food was hot, delicious, and just as ordered. Was really impressed by the customer service. read more

IHOP is pretty much IHOP wherever you go. The food is usually good as it was today. The restaurant was clean and not very busy. What stood out for me today was the customer service. We were there with a small group of 6, Saturday night. The waiter was very nice and as helpful as he could be under the circumstances. They had no straws, no English muffins, the eggs were ordered medium and came out almost hard boiled and the pancakes were completely raw in the middle, to the point of being mushy. This is by far the worst IHOP I have ever visited. The line is long and they are slow. It's 18 degrees here and as I look around there's 4 tables needing bussing and we're all freezing standing here. We have to write our names on the back of an old receipt to get on the list. I haven't seen a hostess in 30 minutes. read more

Really disappointed in my visit yesterday. I ordered the orange berry splash drink. After sending it back three times to be remade and it still wasn't right I just ordered water. Food was mediocre compared to the usual quality. My eggs were way overdone, my cheesecake pancakes had to be sent back when they were brought out with no toppings. The second time they came out there was no cheesecake filling in my cheesecake pancakes. I just ate it all anyway because I was sick of sending everything back. Very Disgusting place I received a coke with flys in it and didn't realize it until I drunk half the cup. I showed the waitress and she gave me a different coke but could not offer to remove it of my bill and no refund. Because the manager says that they are not allowed to give away any food for free. Do not pay them at this location with a credit or debit charge. They double swipe charging you twice. They refuse to refund with out documents from your bank and photos of your account or a copy of your statement also. They say their records show they were not paid for your meal. read more

I've been loyal to the Sherman iHop for years, but recently I was in Denison, so I decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised. All the waitresses I saw had big smiles on their faces, and they were all super informative and friendly. The manager was walking around to tables and checking in with everyone to ask if their meal was good, I really appreciated the effort I saw put forth. My server Sam, made sure to get my order in right away, she was quick and prompt. I had some work I needed to do, called ahead of time, asked if there was free wifi, and the answer was yes. I got to the ihop, sadly, no plug ins. Sam went out of her way to find an extension cord, and get me set up perfectly so I could enjoy my coffee and work in peace. She deserves recognition, and I hope she does, and that this establishment checks yelp.
