So the manager who said she was the general manager named Sherry did not impress us much. She gave us a very poor server, a novice and on her first job... first, this server came up to us and said I think I over heard that you weren't eating anything at all after she had taken an order from someone else who had came into the restaurant after us. Also,the server couldn't understand how to put in an order on the computer...I watched her - she never asked for help. We found out that a couple who came in after us in a different section were already eating after we had waited almost an hour for our food - it never was served. We left. Poor management! This is now one of my least favorite places to eat, maybe the last. We visited on Halloween night are 7:15 pm. Place our order about 7:30 pm and didn't get our food till almost 8:15 pm. Sounds quick, however we were one of five parties in the restaurant. I must admit the waitress we had was great. She was very friendly and checked on use frequently. Long waits are normal here, based on history plus a recent visit. I was two minutes from walking out when my food came . I made the mistake of getting all you can eat pancakes once, they came scorched on one side. I was sending them back for replacement, the waitress told me, that all the pancakes were cooked ahead of time, they were not cooking any more, so if my cakes were scorched the replacements would also be scorched. I asked if I was going to be expected to pay for the meal that was not fit to eat, and she did not deliver any sort of answer, merely a stare, so I tipped a penny, paid my ticket, and went to eat elsewhere. This was a long time ago, and I hoped recently for a problem free meal a couple of weeks ago. Hostess nightmare, first face you see should me the best. The personality should welcome you and make you feel that your decision was the right one. Walk in and it's the holiday so yes we have a larger group. "15 please"- Her response -"Oh God, I don't have room for 15". That's fine we'll wait, Well it's gonna be more that an hour- by then I was just gonna make my point. She is not running us off. So we wait, she did the same stunt to the next group of 6, they even asked to be sat in separate tables to help, but no this hostess wasn't having it. We have a full house and just don't have room. So the group of 6 leaves. To my surprise the next 2 separate small groups get seated in seconds. We finally get seated and as I'm walking through I count more than 5 booths and 2 small 2 seater tables empty. No full house here, just bad hostess and perhaps bad management. Walked into Ihop, haven't been here for about 5 months. There were about 8 people waiting to be seated. The waitress walked right by but didnt say anything. I went up to the waitress and told her. She continued to ignore so all eight customers left. As they walked out she came up to me and mumbled how many? I said one, then she grabbed a menu and started walking away (I think that's my queue to follow her) so I followed her and said I didn't know if she was seating me because I didn't hear her say anything. She said I said to follow me (i heard nothing). So I was seated. I know this is just Ihop but attitude is everything, if you are a waitress or waiter and you have a bad attitude, I'm not trusting you with my food. They said the were short staffed. Sat there waiting for someone to come offer coffee or a drink, nothing so I left too. Confession: i ate the food though it tastes horrible! :-| At first, i ordered the fit 2 crapes with fruit granola and yogurt. The look wasn't appetizing at all. There was a lot of syrup off the fruits in the plate. However, that wasn't the problem. The "2" crapes, was actually just one huge one, that wasn't fully cooked. It tasted horrible. I send it back! I ordered some sunny side up (mentioning twice that i want them cooked on both sides and made well done) with bacon and a fruit bowl. Soon after the eggs arrived cooked on just one side, looking very raw still:-| I wanted to take them to go so i can put them in the garbage outside, but my husband insisted i send them back. So i did. When they came back, they were well done, and so i tasted them. :-|... The same weird taste the huge crape had these eggs had it as well. So i ate them... Because i was feeling guilty to send them back again saying they aren't good. The bacon, fruits and excessive salt and pepper masked the dreaded taste of the eggs. I got the Cinn-A-Stack pancakes and they were great. This Ihop is right off an Interstate exit and the service is very friendly and fast. Oh, do I have a story to tell! We went to IHOP for a friend's birthday, so about six people in the group. It takes them a good 5 minutes to just get us seated. Mind you, the place is devoid of any life, but whatever. The lady seats us down and asked for drinks right off the bat. She leaves and returns with the drinks and 2 straws. 2 STRAWS FOR 6 PEOPLE!!! We assumed maybe she didn't have anymore at the time and was going to fetch some more. NOPE! She never came back with straws and I had to call her down for it and she only forked over 3 more. DUDE, I'M LAUGHING AT THE SERVICE AT THIS POINT BECAUSE LIKE THIS CAN'T BE REAL!! We order and wait about 40 minutes for 3 dishes. NO ONE WAS THERE. Ten minutes later, the other 3 dishes were there. A lot of the food was kind of burnt, but it was fine for what it was. Around the time we would be headed out, the lady asks if I got OJ and I said yes. I assumed she was trying to remember what I got, so she could charge me correctly. WRONG!!!!!!!!!! This bitch brings me ANOTHER OJ! I never fucking wanted it nor asked for it because I was full at this point, but my friends assured me it was probably a free refill. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! We got the receipt and the drinks were 2.99 each. Maybe that's why she never asked to refill the people who got water because it was free. I was beyond pissed to say the fucking least. I've been here a few times, but it's hard to predict how the meal will go. Sometimes I have no complaints, other times, I wait forever for poorly cooked food with shells in my scrambled eggs. My biggest complaint is that the servers are usually fairly inept and unhelpful. I usually have to ask for things several times before receiving them. read more

This was a dirty stinky restaurant. I wish I had a picture of this place but when you enter the register the floors were in need of mopping very badly. The floor was dirty, filthy, and looks disgusting. The place also smelled as well. There was a dirty smelling odor in the restaurant. The only reason I ate there was because of my plain Jane in-laws cannot eat anywhere other than chain restaurants because their minds don't expand that far. Otherwise, I would have walked out at the entrance. So I go and try to eat the food anyways. The waiter pretty much threw my food at me and I had an omelette that was overcooked and it had so much grease in the omelette that I couldn't eat it. Tried to have some coffee to wash that disgusting taste of the omelette out but the coffee was so watered down it tasted like they only put one tablespoon of coffee grinds to a quart of water. Yuk! We were seated immediately. The place was remotely clean. I had the 2x2x2. My eggs were decent. The bacon was ok. My harvest nut pancakes were burnt. My husband had the strawberry crepes. Stopped in for a quick meal to discover they do not have waffles! I would guess that they do not make them fresh here. You would think you could use pancake mix to make waffles!
