We were seated immediately and served right away. However, after we got our food, we weren't really checked on after that. I had to flag someone down to get some more water and my husband was never checked on for refills of his ice tea. Also the pricing seems kind of ridiculous. We paid almost $60 for the three of us! Overall, location and service was fast, but wish we had a little more follow up while we ate.

I've always preferred Pancake to French Toast or even Waffles. And I'm definitely not a Crepe Crusader, but IHOP's glazed Strawberries and Vanilla Cream Crepes did intrigue me. I was warned by Management that mine were the last of the crepes available and perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing. And here I thought the crepes were made fresh to order. Au contraire, Mon frere. Whether dining in Crepe Cod or Crepe Canaveral, the carpet definitely does not match the Crepes. Granted, it was by no means a Crepeful Dead experience, but the Bacon was apparently the victim of an unfortunate thermal event. As Crepe Hudson once reminded me in the HOP outside of Paris ... Texas "The only thing international about these places are the passports of the help".

Terrible! Worst tasting, cold pancake ever served. Cold, hard toast, burnt bacon. Slow service. Do not go to this IHOP.

Our waitress was lovely, I had heard about the souvenir glasses you could buy so I got a shot glass with the Damon pancake shot and the vampire Barbie drink. They had a few options for the big souvenir glass - I chose the "it's okay to love them both, I did" Katherine glass. For the meal we tried the fried chicken sandwich and the sweet tea fried chicken. Everything was so good, my favorite meal in Covington! I wish we had room for dessert because everything sounded good. We checked out upstairs and saw the hallway with all the signed menus- so cool!! We sat on the roof which was nice and quiet. The service was quick and the waitress was super nice. The first time the food came out it was cold, but she was super quick to get it warm for us. We got the blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was pretty flavorful, I would totally get again! The fries were also delicious. We did get two drinks and they were just alright. Would not recommend their cocktails. Overall Mystic Grill holds a special place in our hearts and we love visiting during the holidays!

It's versatile and appropriate for a date night or a business dinner. I went on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't too packed. I initially sat at the bar where I had the gin pear cocktail. It was outstanding! Then I sat at the restaurant area where I ordered the catfish with broccolini and sweet potato pure, two of the guests ordered the salmon and loved it and one of the guests ordered the daily special which was the meatloaf and it looked delicious (a bit on the heavier side side) for after dinner drink I had an espresso martini and it did not disappoint. We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!

The onion rings are top tier, the fried pickles are delicious, and the wings are great. The bar staff were B and Shanna. B was the best; tentative, kind and funny. She checked on us often as newbies. Shanna is the only reason this review didn't get 5 stars. She was cold, evasive and made it seem like she was bothered by us asking questions. It was our first time there. Once she was annoyed having to take our drink order, she never said another word to us. Asking her to change the TV felt like pulling teeth. Then B came in and saved the day. The food, karaoke and B made this an good time on a Friday night. Because of the atmosphere, the indoor smoking, and the chance of dealing with Shanna again, I'd pass on going in and order take out next time.

I started with the goat cheese pesto bruschetta for appetizers. The flavors paired well together and it was a decent size. For lunch, my friend and I shared the taco platter, which comes with 9 tacos, chips, salsa, and queso for $35. It's a great price and it was more food than we could finish. The fried shrimp tacos were the best. Shoutout to our waitress for that suggestion! They were crispy, large shrimp pieces, and flavored nicely. We also got the fried fish tacos and the ribeye tacos which were very underwhelming. Unfortunately, the entire taco platter was extremely salty. Even though we drank water throughout, we both left feeling super parched due to how salty it was. This place has potential but I'm not sure I would come back. It might be a good spot to grab a drink and hang out, but I wouldn't come here to eat. Honestly the amazing service is really what stood out and was the saving grace!
