I came during a not peak mealtime. I waited a few minutes to be seated. I wasn't asked if I needed a beverage refill until after I received my bill. The buttermilk pancakes were not the size of a whole plate, which is what I usually expect from an IHOP, but the bacon was perfectly crispy, which is just how I like it. We went as a group of seven. We ordered our breakfast, the waitress didn't write it down. I thought oh she's good to remember all that. Well guess what she didn't! She Forgot 2 orders. Had to ask for straws three times. We finally got our straws with our food. Waitress never came to check on us. Hash browns were under cooked. I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! Zero stars!!! After an hour, being told several times our order would be out soon and no refill after requesting one, we asked to cancel the order and get our check. They told us not to worry about a bill & sorry they're so backed up. We were not the first to leave and assume not the last. We ordered just pancakes so nothing complicated or time consuming. People need to realize that ihop is not fast food. When they have large parties and everything it will take some time. We love ihop in Boutte the people are friendly and our food is fresh. I was done working she said she couldn't pay me my credit card tips which was $20 she said I couldn't get them until tomorrow But after that I was rolling silver wear I ran out of butter knives and walked across to Taco bell bc she was hollering at everyone in the store And after that I couldn't take it no more so I clocked out and went to Taco bell This is exactly why I have an interview tomorrow for a new job I hope she gets transferred to a different store Highly wouldn't recommend going there unless you wanna get hollered at!! 0 stars!! Our family of 14 stopped in for a late breakfast and as soon as we entered the establishment, we were greeted by Shelly. It was hot when we walked in & I mentioned it, and Shelley assured me that it would cool off soon because she had just readjusted everything. She then engaged conversation with my daughter(4) & asked her if she wanted her to make a special pancake. We were unaware that she would serve us as we had been told once we were seated that we would have a different server. Shelly's personality & customer service was IMPECCABLE!!! My daughter got her pancake(AMAZING) & by the time we were paying, we felt as though she was a family friend. She was warm, compassionate, & dedicated. We not once had to ask for a refill & the food was delicious. We are visiting from Texas & Shelly even gave us some hotspots to hit while we vacation. Shelly deserves a raise!!! lol read more

I think this was by far one of the best places I have ever eaten. The manager, Brittany, here was an excellent host to us. The service was 10/10. She was extremely down to earth and always attentive to us. Great place to stop for Breakfast if you are flying in from New Orleans and heading towards Fourchon/Golden Meadows. This particular IHOPS is clean, has decent/good service, and meets the standard of all other locations. Random Note: The booth seats are unusually very cushion-y. We felt as though we were sitting on a bouncy house. None-the-less, the this place provides a quality breakfast in comparison to fast food. My split-decision and blueberry pancakes came out the way I expected. Not the best pancakes, but still good! If you are heading South from 3127 or I-310, take a right. According to the map, it looks as though there is another location in Boutte (if you take a left), but I'm not sure if that's an error. read more

What a train wreck. We showed up to no one to greet and seat. Once seated we waited for 17 minutes to be waited on. Add that to the 35 minutes waiting for food. It was lukewarm at best. A life saver - we were so happy to see this place on our trip for food! Sara L was our waitress and very attentive. She dealt through our indecisiveness and kept us updated with our wait time. I would recommend asking for your bacon to be cooked crispy- mine was way undercooked. Maybe the chef was confused and thought I wanted it cooked soft like my eggs... Kinda gross. It's Saturday evening about 6 pm. My husband was jonesing for their multigrain pancakes. I ordered steak and eggs. Meat rare eggs poached. The waitress had no idea what poached was. I said write it down hopefully the cook knows. About 45 minutes into our wait for food, the waitress tells us the cook is having a panic attack but not to worry he and the manager are making our food next. After a full hour, my steak arrived cold and way over cooked. The eggs we soaking in cold water and were so over cooked, they need the water to rehydrate them. I had to ask two times after I got the food for an extra plate. Thought about asking for the food to be warmed. Then ate it cold a was glad I have my problems and not theirs. The worst IHOP we have ever dined at. We waited for nearly 35 minutes in our booth before a waitress came to get our drink order. After waiting 30 more minutes for our food, we requested to speak to the manager. He came out extremely defensive and using the holiday season as the excuse. We walked out of the restaurant unfed and furious. Suggestions: hire a manager with people skills and one that won't make excuses. You should not solely rely on one person as bey may call in or quit. You have three excellent servers, the others are garbage. As a manager you should have been visible on the front end, especially during the crisis this morning. We were not the only table with the service. Actually three tables in my section walked up and left. We ate here yesterday morning & did not have a good experience. After getting up at 430am & driving to the airport to pick up a friend at 8am, we stopped here on our way back home. The 3 of us were starving. None of us wanted breakfast, so we ordered burgers. Easy right? Um...no. apparently not. Our order was as follows: Mega burger w/ grilled onions & onion rings Bacon cheeseburger w/ fries Cheeseburger w/ grilled onions & onion rings When our food arrived, the mega burger was correct. However, the other 2 had the sides wrong, so we just swapped burgers, no big deal. But then instead of grilled onions on the cheeseburger, there were raw red onions. My wife will NOT eat raw onion. My bacon cheeseburger had grilled onions, & I love raw red onion. So we sent them back to be corrected. The burgers came out & we sent them back 3 more times because they kept coming back out the same way. At this point we asked for the manager, who we were told was at the bank. My wife said, when he gets back, please send him to our table. The 4th time the burgers came back, it was obvious they had peeled off the raw onion to put the grilled onions in its place, & took 95% of the cheese with it. And again I had grilled onions instead of raw, along with missing cheese. I kid you not, we sent the burgers back SIX TIMES. We also asked that we have fresh fries & onion rings since about 15 minutes had passed by now. So both burgers finally came our correct, without our sides. So we had to wait for fresh fries & rings. In the meantime, our friend we had picked up had already finished her burger. The manager never came to the table. While courteous for the most part & clearly agitated, the wait staff never once apologized for the constant errors. We were seated even with the open doorway of the kitchen, so we had a clear view of the bickering & confusion. I don't know if there was a language barrier, but from what we could over hear, that sounded like part of the problem. A waitress that wasn't the one who took our order, tried to blame it on how it was written on the ticket. Ok...so how do you explain the order being wrong SIX times when I verbally repeated it to you each time the order was wrong? I said " Do you need me to write it down for you?" Might I add that there were only 3 other tables with patrons at this time. The place was empty! So it's not like they were so busy & got confused. So eventually, we were brought our bill, which was full price , without any effort to take a small percentage of any amount off of it. Again, the manager never showed up to our table. Or anyone with the authority to do anything about this ridiculous situation over a simple burger order gone horribly wrong. We got up to walk out, and, oh did I forget to mention the greasy slip & slide that is their floor? Uh...yeah...watch your step! We will not return. If you cannot get a simple burger correct, or have the common professional courtesy to apologize or make some sort of effort to exceed your customers expectations, you do not deserve my business or my money. read more

First of all, Yelp should offer you an option for NO stars! I have never seen such an incompetent and discourteous staff. We came around 11:30 on a Sunday looking to have a late breakfast. The problems started when we had to wait just to put our name on the list because there was no one in the front greeting customers. Once our name was down and we were told we were next, a very rude waitress came up to grab the next table from the hostess and refused to take our table of 4 which consisted of two adults and two kids. Instead she complained in front of everyone until the hostess gave her the couple that came in behind us. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant and will let everyone I know how rude, unprofessional, and incompetent this restaurant 's staff is. Service was very bad. I had three people waiting my table all of them had a poor attitude and made me feel like an inconvenience. When I get my bill I was shorted 75 cents which isn't a big deal but then was told they don't even carry coins? So instead of doing the right thing and round up a dollar to me, they keep my 75 cents without even trying to explain. I said keep he 75 cents for a tip which I didn't want to give. This was the worst experience I have ever had! I had a dinner consisting of 5 people including me. We were the only ones there. Everything was good at first, but then we where wait for like 30 min. for our food. Then when we got it our food was extremely cold. One of the people's omelet wasn't even cooked all the way! I still didn't have my food yet only my extras. Also they forgot two of my guests orders. Then when it went back they completely forgot about my guest's omelet (he never even seen it again). Then when they finally brought my meal, it was the wrong! Also they brought back my other two guests' food and it was wrong too so they said they would just get their eggs, but they never did! And when they finally brought back my actual food, it was cold and only had a little tiny bit of cheese cake filling. And don't forget WE WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE! The service is poor here. That's too bad, because it is a convenient location. The management is horrible. They treat each new patron walking through the store as an inconvenience. Today my family and I were told by a staff member "Do you need to be seated? Well, you will be waiting there a while." The restaurant was not busy. After we were seated, I watched TWICE as a line formed at the front of the restaurant. Both times, they were not greeted or acknowledged. Both times, the crowd walked out. Where is the management?
