My review is based mainly on being a guest here. I was never an employee so I don't have anything to say about the workplace here. I'd been here three times already for a meet and greet with some celebrities. The first one was Paris Hilton, then Jason Derulo and yesterday, the cast of MamaMia. The meet and greet has always been an intimate experience. There's probably only about 30 people to meet the celebrities. The setup was very nice with couches arranged as if you're in your own living room. If you have never experienced anything like this, I suggest for you to do so. disappointing work experiences I've ever had. The management culture, especially among certain women in power, is extremely toxic, cliquish, and unprofessional. There's little to no support for employees who are genuinely trying to grow or contribute. Feedback is often condescending rather than constructive, and favoritism runs deep. The pay is embarrassingly low compared to similar roles at other media companies. You'll be expected to handle the workload of multiple people with minimal recognition or compensation. Raises and promotions are almost nonexistent, and HR doesn't seem to care about employee morale or fairness. If you value a healthy work environment, respect, or fair pay -- look elsewhere. The brand name might sound appealing, but behind the scenes it's chaos, poor leadership, and zero transparency. Pros: None worth mentioning. She waited for weeks and they finally sent her only 2 tickets, instead of the promised 4, on a Friday giving her only 2.5 hours to respond if she did not receive the tickets. This 2.5 hour time frame to respond is extremely unrealistic and unreasonable and unfortunately, she did not see the message until later that day. She emailed and called every number she could find after she saw the email but there was no answer. The disappointment and frustration are beyond words. We have emailed support@iheartradio.com as this appears to be the email where people have submitted complaints. I'm hoping this email reaches headquarters and that they are proactive at improving customer satisfaction as this poorly reflects on an otherwise respected brand. read more

I had been here probably 4 times in the past. First is the ride from San Diego to LA which you need to plan ahead especially if it's gonna be an all day or half day event, get ready to pay for your parking when you arrived because good luck finding parking on the street, if you just come to pick up your prize it would be much better, you will be in and out in no time. I always amazed by how big this place is compared to their little office building in SD, the professionalism they handled during a live event up close with the artists. They need to have a talk with their receptionist about customer service. I went to pick up some tickets I won and had my passport and registration to show my address. She rudely told me she couldn't accept it. I told her I just won tickets last month and they accepted my passport. She sarcastically responded, "Good for them" and then directed me to "take a seat." She proceeded to call promotions and they told her it was okay. She handed me the tickets and I began to walk away without saying thank you because I was pissed off at her previous statement. She sarcastically yelled, "have a great day" and then laughed out loud when I pulled instead of pushed their glass exit doors. Arrived and was in the building at 4:58 and the entire floor is locked down...the elevator won't even let us go to the 5th floor. They close at 5 and aren't open on the weekends) and wouldn't even pick up the phone. Last day to get the tickets too. Spoke with iHeartmedia multiple times while driving and to let them know we'd be really close to the 5pm mark, but they were rude and entirely unhelpful. Never listening or supporting again. A girlfriend of mine won tickets from Alt 98.7, however all of the restrictions on picking them up made it impossible for her. You have to pick them up in Burbank between 1:00 and 4:00. This makes it extremely difficult for people that work a regular day job to claim their tickets. She passed them on to me since my work schedule is very flexible. She had to fill in several forms and provide a copy of her license. This was about 4 hours of drivetime round trip for tickets that could have easily been dropped in the mail, other stations do this. The staff works quickly and efficiently but are very curt border line rude. I can understand this, the guy that was helping me was also fielding phone calls the entire time. Kinda impressive that he was able to handle both, but additional staff would be nice and make the experience better for all. I won a prize almost a month ago. They said it takes 2 weeks to get a redemption email. Still haven't received anything. I've reached out on social media. I've called the iheart media number. Finally after days of trying I get through to a female employee. She tells me she's in charge of the emails and " for sure you'll get something today if not tomorrow morning " ... okay?? A week later and now when I call it rings then they hang up. And to top it off I won the 92.3 Big Boy phone tap. The prize was " a couple pairs of shoes, a back pack, and a chance to win a laptop " When I asked her to confirm my prize she said " oh no its a 50$ gift certificate to Zen and the backpacks we don't have in stocks but we'll send out once in stock " dude at this point idk what to believe. Not sure what to even say. The morning show on Krab and lots of the fake ads they run, are over the edge and seem like just a stupid way of trying to push the regulations for ratings. There used to be a time when radio was more about the music and less about what dumb stuff the dj can do or say. I would love to hear the music in the morning but do not need my kids asking about the porn of the day or whatever bull$hit the little minds have come up with that day. Also, when advertising is down, you will not get it back by making fake ads that are not funny and try to again push the regulations. All that is doing is pushing away local businesses from wanting to deal with the joke radio station. It's time to grow up I guess. The old college days of radio are behind us. What an amazing experience brought to us by the Woody Show. My boyfriend entered into a Red Hot Chili peppers concert, to be able to meet the band and suite tickets, and he won! He received an email giving him directions and time slots that we need to arrive by. We abided by the email and showed up about 10 minutes prior. We walked up the mirrored plated building and made it to the ALT 98.7 floor level, we were asked our names and were patted down for security measures then asked to be seated. All the staff was over the top helpful and nice. Shortly after we were escorted to another waiting area where sandwiches and waters were provided. Again the staff was over the top was helpful and nice, making sure we were great the whole time we were waiting. We were a part of a listener press conference with Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith. It was an amazing once in a life time experience. The listeners and The Woody Show were able to ask personal question and get amazing personal answers from the band members. After the press conference we were able to take photos, again an amazing once in a life time experience. From the bottom of my heart I thank I Heart Media, The Woody Show (you know. #allin. Me love. I give them 4 stars and not 5 just because they make you drive all the way up to Burbank to get the tickets instead of sending them to you, but then again, it's a free prize, so you just have to weigh the convenience vs the value of the prize. We read the reviews about rude receptionists, but it appears they have different people manning the reception area now than they did when the other reviews were written. Franco and Brian helped us out and were really nice to us and the other guests who were also there for tickets. We arrived 1/2 hour early for our 1-4 PM pickup time and didn't make us wait till 1. The process was pretty easy and we were soon on our way. FYI, the parking underground wasn't well marked, but there are two entrances in case anyone is interested. One is off Olive and another off California Ave. I don't know why they don't have better signs marking the entrances from the road. You see a turn off toward the building but don't know for sure if it's a public parking area until you go around a bend. It cost $12 for the day, so if you can find street parking, you can do that for up to 2 hrs, so if you're just there to get tickets and leave, that's the way to go. I don't know what the hourly rate is, I forgot to look. We decided to stick around and walk down the street to the Warner Bros studio tour, so the $12 we paid there is less than the $15 we would have paid at Warner Bros. read more

Thank you to I Heart Radio and The Woody Show! I was a fan of the Mark & Brian show for a long time. When they left the air, I was left with flipping around stations for my morning commute. One day, I stumbled upon the Woody Show and was sold immediately. I've never laughed so hard. They are fresh and entertaining. I like joining FUN! I mean, who else can talk about what idiots are doing in various states (mostly FL - haha) to Woody's funny parenting advice and true feelings, and the always entertaining Greg, Ravie, and Mence's stories and antics along with Seabass, and even the Show Killer! Please never leave the airwaves. These guys are like family and I am happy to say I was an early listener. So happy for them that they get to expand into other cities. The more people that get to listen to them, the better...just think of the material they will get because of it!!!! read more

I like the radio stations themselves, however the process to pick up a simple prize is really really annoying. The station I listen to covers from Santa Barbara, to south of San Clemente. That means a ton of us who win have to drive all the way up to Burbank to pick up our prize. Oh, and with LA traffic being the worst, they decided it would be funny to make it so you can only pick up between 1-4pm on a weekday. I live in Orange County, if I wanted to pick up my prize by 4pm, I would have to get off work at 2pm (3 hours early), drive about 45 miles in traffic, park in the parking garage, walk up and wait to get my prize, drive home, and get home about 7pm. If the prize isn't worth at least $150, I probably just lost money, not to mention I definitely just lost time, mileage on my vehicle, and gas. We can fill out a w-9, and email it with the same results. For being the largest Radio company I know of, they sure are way behind in their prize pick-up process. I like the stations, I like the hosts, I can't stand the process that is needed to pick up the prize. Only iHeartMedia does this. I've won on a different radio station and they just ship the prize if it costs less than $20 to ship it. Oh, and on top of that, YOU HAVE TO PAY for parking to pick up the prize. Anything like concert tickets, or gift cards should be shipped. If they can afford to give away $11,000/day on "Easy Money", you can easily ship out simple prizes valued under $1000. Instead of winning a TV as a prize, make it a gift card to a place to buy a TV. Sorry for the rant, but until this gets resolved, I keep the 1 star. read more

No representatives from iHeartMedia were present and the movie theater employees had no knowledge of the event. Called the number listed on the email numerous times and no answer. First off, WOW!!! I went to the office to pick up some concert tickets that I had won from 104.3 MYFM. I got there early (around 8:50 am) to hopefully get the paperwork started. When I got to the front desk, the receptionist; an African American woman screamed, not talked like a human being but screamed at me and said "Office doesn't open until 9:00. Go back and wait at the lobby!!!". Wow, not a great way to start the morning. So I saw some couches and chairs near the glass entrance and I'd figured I'd wait there since the office would open in a few minutes. She then screamed like a maniac and said "GO BACK TO THE LOBBY AND WAIT TILL 9:00". OK first off honey, in the real world, we say: "Good morning sir/ma'am. Unfortunately the prize office isn't open until 9:00 am. For security reasons, we ask all prize winners to please patiently wait at the lobby until 9:00 am and we'll be happy to help you out. Thank you" *That's how you do it* *Only Positive Outcome* So after that "experience" I waited till the office officially open back at the lobby. I proceeded to the front desk once they had opened and another woman; either Caucasian/Middle Eastern mix had helped me out with my prize. My current address didn't match on my license and the only thing I had to show my current address with was my health insurance letter address to my new address. She went above and beyond to help me out and she was able to use my information to claim my prize. I am grateful for her help and support as she was the only positive outcome to happen to me in this experience. Back to the horrible receptionist: Once I had gone back to the lobby, I had forgotten to ask her a question. I went back up to the front desk and sure enough, the same woman that had helped me was helping another person. I decided to wait once she was done with this gentleman. To iHeartMedia, this is unacceptable! How dare you have such a rude, horrible, incompetent person like this African American woman working for your company. When the general public comes to the office to claim there prize, she is the first person that should greet them with a welcome. She is the face of the company and should show respect to everyone that comes in for any reason. Instead she treats everyone with a horrible attitude as if she's about to start a fight. Her attitude is horrible, she acts like she doesn't want to be at work and on top of that, she has a chip on her shoulder so big that it could sink the Titanic. She is not the type of person that should be working receptionist or any job that involves the public. For a prestigious company like iHeartMedia to hire terrible people like her, I'm hoping they are using her as an example of what not to do in the public work field. I only hope that iHeartMedia will have the common sense to elaborate their decision to rehire certain people to work the front receptionist job or perhaps do the world a favor and just fire her. Everything about this place is just so inconvenient. Especially the person making everyone sign in. Gives you the worst attitude and dirtiest look when asking questions unless hes talking to a lady. Not only did he do this to me but every gentleman thats asked him a question. Just cause i asked him how long its gonna take he doesnt even page downstairs to look for the ticket for the next 20 minutes. No wonder why this place has two and a half stars. This place needs to hire a new receptionist. We had came in to pick up free tickets that were given to us. Right from the beginning, the African American lady (they were not wearing name tags or had a name card visible) must have been having a bad day. We did not come off disrespectful or in-polite. We just casually walked in all happy and excited. As we tried to get our tickets and were there for about 20 minutes this lady totally changed our mood and perspective about iHeart. We needed our co-worker who won the tickets to resend something to the email, and she would make rude comments under her breathe like "well why would she send that document again" even though our co-worker had sent it with the proper document. She could have easily just ignored it and not have said anything at all. As we tried asking her for proper instructions in the beginning we could not hear her since we were standing next to the radio. We asked again and she just continued to give us additive with a rude toned of voice. Remind you ,we were mostly sitting down and not bugging her over attentively. You get pretty excited when you have free tickets to get and going into a radio station to pick it up is not in the usual, but after leaving that place , it makes you leave with a pretty crappy mood to wear these tickets are like eh that's cool I guess. Drove all the way from San Diego to pick up concert tickets for my friend. The two ladies at the reception desk were very rude and refused to give me the tickets because my friend had bad handwriting and I wrote my name on the paper so that it would be legible. After an hour of sitting in their lobby area, my friend finally is able to send over the form ONCE AGAIN electronically. They go on to tell me they can't accept an electronic signature, so I asked to speak to someone else. Eventually they allowed me to get the tickets as a one time thing. Honestly the attitude of the employees were my overall concern, really made me upset. It could've been a simple in and out transaction, but the receptionists just seemed to be rude for no reason. As I was leaving they were telling a lady "to learn how to read" since she forgot her forms. Beware, put on a fake smile so that they will hopefully be nice you. I drove a friend out to Burbank yesterday so he could pick up $100 prize he won which he was told he had to pick up in person. Burbank is a tough city to negotiate but we got there and finally found our way in only to be greeted by a woman behind the door who was horribly rude. The doors were a little difficult to negotiate because there was no push or pull sign on them and they are secure. This is in no way a review on the woman who actually sat behind the desk and helped out with all the paperwork and signatures you have to go through to claim your prize. I was so excited to win D23 Expo tickets on 4th of July at 11:35. I tried several times to reach the promotions department, but consistently received a recording. Then I proceeded to take a day off of work, drive for over an hour to the company to pick up the tickets. You could only imagine after winning what I thought was four 3 day passes, and confirming this win with the person that took my information, my shock and dismay to see 4 tickets for day 3. I tried to speak to someone in promotions, but the receptionist that someone already wrote about would not let me speak to anyone and just reaffirmed that is what I won. I called another number that I had on my phone from the message that was left for me from promotions, but it led me to the receptionist. When I asked her for the person that left the message, she asked what his last name was. I told her that he did not leave it, but I would assume that he was a Caucasian in his mid 20's from his voice. The receptionist stated that there were six people in promotions with that name that fit that description. Really? I truly have a hard time believing that. I returned upstairs with my phone and the message ready to play it for her to see if she could recognize the persons voice and narrow it down. She told me that she could not listen to it and be able to tell me that. Again really? You can describe how they look, but the receptionist that talks to them on the phone mostly could not tell me the person from their voice? On top of that she made rude comments to other winners that were there to pick up their tickets and were shocked by the same outcome. The ironic thing is the fact that she found nothing wrong with the fact that several people that do not know each other were there to pick up tickets and were surprised with what was in the envelope. You think that would have struck her as strange and she would have been more helpful in finding out or sending someone out that could help explain the situation. To make matters worse I finally did get a hold of someone in promotions and they said yes that was what I won, and that if I had a problem I could take it up with the stations general manager. I sent an email explaining things on the station website and requested that someone get back to me, but as I suspected there has been no response. I frankly would not be surprised if someone waits until next week and does get back to me, apologizes and states that the event has passed sorry but there is nothing we can do now. I know that this is a complete waist of time to the I Heart Media corporation based on the other reviews, but this is for other winners to serve as a warning to really know what you won or just be ready for disappointment. This definitely does not reflect on the radio station 104.3, but it would be nice if they did respond to my email. read more

The African American Receptionist on the 5th floor has the worst attitude. There is a lack of professionalism, tact, warmth and general customer service on her part, which is not a good representation of a community oriented company, such as a radio station. I personally witnessed her being rude to a caller on the phone and she was rude to me, a walk in customer. Everything from her tone of voice, to her body language and lack of eye contact was sub par and I don't recommend that she remain the first point of contact for customers visiting your facility. I'm not sure if she dislikes her job, beautiful women, or people in general but something should be done about her bad disposition. Receptionists are the face of a company. As a front office manager and a customer service professional in the field of Community Service for over 18 years, I can affirm from experience that iheartradio does or at least should demand a higher standard of professionalism from their employees. Especially those employed to represent the company directly and serve as a liaison between the company itself and the community. read more
