It's the only station i listen to, but i wish they wouldn't play all the perverse lyrics in songs! I don't understand why its not ok for my kids to hear cuss words but they think it's ok to play audio porn, we always have to turn the radio down every other song anymore cuz there's so many saying stupid perverted stuff! **This review is for Valentine in the Morning (Jill & Kevin also)** I didn't know I could review my favorite radio station till Valentine was mentioning it on the air today and Kevin confirmed the Mary Beth review! Super excited to review 104.3 MyFM because I've been listening to Valentine in the Morning for over 7 years now, they've been my positive morning radio station on my way to work (which takes about 45 mins) and it falls over "Battle of the Sexes" and it gives me at least one chance to text to try and win $1,000. Sometimes when I get up early I can join in the first sip speech that Val makes and it really does make me feel good. With other talk radio shows like KIIS FM they have some positive things, but when I drive to work it's when they're doing "Ryan's Roses" which I hate because I don't want to hear about infidelity or possible cheating or work romances or torn relationships... if I want that I'll watch the evening news. Jill's stories are wonderful to listen to, and I do follow her on Instagram and boo to the haters. Kevin is awesome because I mean - we share the same first name sooooo... Also he's a family man after my own and I relate to what he talks about and his candid comments are always funny. They also play a lot of firsts and premier songs and their guest on air are usually short but sweet bits. They also have a podcast (but I haven't crossed that bridge yet) but I hear that its really good. Thank you Valentine and team for making my morning commute pleasant and enjoyable. CLASSIC ROCK?? LMFAO! Billy Joel? You play the same lame songs EVERYDAY. Stevie Nick's was inducted into the Hall of Fame, yet you play little to none. If you do, it's from Fleetwood Mac. The ONLY good thing is Get the Led out. I don't know what demographic you're trying to reach, but I actually find better music on the oldies station and I'm 47. The ONLY reason I listen to this station is because of my location. I find static and dead air more enjoyable. read more

From their endless ads to repetitive songs there isn't much to expect from this station. Yes, I get that most radio stations do play the same songs on loop but none do it better than this one. This used to be my go-to radio station in the car, but they obviously changed something or else I wouldn't be writing this review. They are notorious for playing 2 decent songs and then a whole bunch of ads. Right before playing the ads they will promise you a hot song after the ads but it seems like they forget, because they never end up playing the song. Hmm. Must be either that they want you to listen to their ads or they forget because the ads play for such a long time. read more

I have won twice from 104.3 and whenever I win the staff is so friendly and nice to chat too. The first time I won was last year for the preview of World of Color. It was my first time ever winning on the radio and I got to talk to Valentine in the morning and it was just the craziest morning ever! I'll never forget it. The second time I won was last month when I entered four songs for MyMusic@Noon. I got a friendly call from the staff saying "You Won!" I won 4 tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain! This station plays the same songs over and over and over. Not just on a weekly basis but forever, they just keep playing the same songs, and never change. One time they had a competition where first caller got $500 every time they played Pink. I thought that would be the end of them, suicide, as they play pink every other song, but somehow they hung on in there and narrowly avoided bankruptcy. I don't know how they think they can get away with it, but somehow they do. Anyone who likes this station and wants more of the same? Get them a Katy Perry and a Bruno Mars CD, as I think theirs has worn out read more

The reason I listen to this radio station is their morning show. Valentine in the Morning is one of the most relatable and real shows on the radio. There is nothing fake or pretentious about the hosts and it is safe for "little ears" in the car. I would say one of my favorite parts is their Battle the Sexes. read more

103.5 and 104.3 seem like the only two radio stations that are acceptable to play in the workplace. Both radio stations play relaxing music which you can tune in or tune out of. And, everyoen seems to like it. I listen to these radio stations occasionally... but I have a few other favorites. Oh, K-Earth 101.1 is also a good station to play in the workplace.. but I would prefer the first two. read more

Devoid of any true talent or meaning, the vast majority of the songs played (which are all the top 40 on a tight rotation) are cookie cutter, mass produced piles of shit. This radio station SUCKS!!! They play the same songs over and over again the whole day and night. It's awful!!! Every time I just so happen to hear that station some place, they're playing the song "LET IT GO" from the movie Frozen, which is a song to be left at the movie theater, really?? do people request to hear that? Once upon a time, there was a great radio station: K-Big 104. They played great music, every day, and they had wonderful morning shows, and had such things like "Le Discoteque" and other music goodies. However... a few years ago the radio station became "104.3 My FM". Which changed everything. And now the 104.3 has gone to the dogs! Sadly, the entire format changed, no more decent hits, no more "Le Discoteque", no more great morning shows. Nowadays the radio-station is a carbon-copy of every other standard, lame station in L.A. (92.3, 102.7, 97.1, 103.5, etc.). Crappy music, with retarded R&B and Hip-Hop hits, and other stuff, which I don't even want to get into. Shame on 104.3 for switching from the K-Big 104! No more decent radio station, alas. I still have hopes that 104.3 will revert to its once-popular "K-Big 104.3" format. It was much, much better back in good old days. read more
