We were in town from New York, staying at a nearby hotel, and trusted ihateironing to wash and fold almost all of our expensive, machine washable laundry before continuing on with our travels. Big mistake! The whites and lights returned ruined, stained BLUE, and totally discolored. Clearly the lights and darks weren't separated despite my explicit instructions to do so. Beyond that, the laundry absolutely REEKS of chemicals (to a degree that is truly unusual) , is wrinkled, and a dark pair of pants now has several mysterious grease stains. A machine washable sweater was also dry cleaned (why?) and smells even stronger than the rest of the items. My daughter, husband, and I left the hotel this morning in yesterday's dirty clothes without so much as a clean pair of underwear. Needless to say, I'm very upset and even emotional after having spent weeks packing and preparing for this trip, buying the family new clothes, etc. Spent the afternoon at our new location scouting out a laundromat, buying unscented laundry detergent, bleach, and laundry bags. read more

IHI lost my laundry and blamed it on the hotel where I was staying. When they finally discovered that they had delivered it to the wrong address, I had already returned home out of the country. That was over a week ago and they still haven't shipped it. You may think this an exaggeration but, I Hate Ironing was a Godsend. My husband and I were visiting the U.K. for the first time and intended to use the laundry services offered at our hotel. We were staggered by the price! I immediately went to Google and found I Hate Ironing. They are consummate professionals. Signing up for an account is simple. Adding your credit card and hotel information is equally as simple. They stayed in contact with me every step of the way including sending an invoice with exact pricing after our bundle was weighed. I set a pick-up time at our concierge desk. I Hate Ironing texted me when they were on the way and again another text when they were returning our parcel. They did a beautiful job on our clothes and they delivered it back to our hotel at the promised time. Everything was neatly folded and in a smart eco-friendly bag. They gave us peace of mind that we'd have clean clothes as we headed to Germany for the second leg of our holiday. We highly recommend their services to residents and visitors alike. I have been a regular user of your services. Yesterday, I gave my order to your driver and explicitly mentioned it needs to be "washed and dried". This is following general practise as your website usually keeps hanging for me and I have previously been told to inform the driver of my needs to avoid any confusion given the inefficiency of the website. Today, I received an invoice from you stating the order amount to be 400% more than expected. Each item of clothing has been subjected to random treatments, with most of my ordinary clothes been subjected to dry cleaning. As soon as I saw this, I called up your service line to tackle this right there and then. I was told the clothes have already been treated and nothing more can be done. I am furious. I am not ready to pay 4x what I should have because of your inefficiency. If your driver is not trained, he should not be sent over. Now, it is ridiculous to be told that nothing can be done about this. I don't expect this from you. I have been a regular user and am extremely disappointed with how things have been dealt with, especially how I have not been offered any help after the incident. They are fantastic. This review is a little late. I went to London in November and desperately needed to do laundry. There was no launderette nearby my hotel and our hotels recommended laundry service only operated on weekdays and wanted an arm and a leg. I did some research and found ihateironing. Im glad i did they were considerate of my time, professional, and did a great job. I set up a pickup time. They came to the hotel and picked up my clothes. I wasnt going to be at the hotel when they arrived since i was attending an Arsenal match. My hotel was a little difficult but the driver was able to leave the clothes with them.
