It's also got a very cool sign, which seems to shift with the wind, each part glinting in the weak London sun light. They have been around for ages, provide a very good service and all the machines are in good, working order. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants very close by, so if you want to pop out for a few minutes to order a takeaway with the new lover (or potential axe murderer) you just met while drying your Sunday PJs, the option remains open.

Big mistake! The whites and lights returned ruined, stained BLUE, and totally discolored. Clearly the lights and darks weren't separated despite my explicit instructions to do so. Beyond that, the laundry absolutely REEKS of chemicals (to a degree that is truly unusual) , is wrinkled, and a dark pair of pants now has several mysterious grease stains. A machine washable sweater was also dry cleaned (why?) and smells even stronger than the rest of the items. My daughter, husband, and I left the hotel this morning in yesterday's dirty clothes without so much as a clean pair of underwear. Needless to say, I'm very upset and even emotional after having spent weeks packing and preparing for this trip, buying the family new clothes, etc. Spent the afternoon at our new location scouting out a laundromat, buying unscented laundry detergent, bleach, and laundry bags.

But they are 2 things that make them great. First - they are friendly and remember you after a while, and start asking questions about how are things. And they always have a little word to say to chat you up. It makes it more personal. Secondly - they are honest and reliant. I know it sounds bizarre to say that, but let's face it - it's not always the case! Once, my shirt got damaged and they had not noticed it. So I went back the next day to ask for a repair and they spontaneously offered to do it for free as they realised they had damaged the shirt in the first place. They are a few feet away from the station - it can't get more convenient. So give them a try. The beer is on me if you encounter a problem :)

Danger to your financial health, beware! I have the…read moreunfortunate experience of dealing with over 3 of the Du Cane stores and the owner is extremely unprofessional and courteous. Du Cane was responsible for losing over £900 of my items from its stores. They transferred my clothes and linen between stores as I took in a batch of items for cleaning and some for dry-cleaning and they now can't locate them and say this is not their responsibility. The owners have not offered any compensation or even taken any action whatsoever and have actually tried blaming myself for them losing my items. Please beware and perhaps consider using another local cleaners for your own stress and financial health. Good luck otherwise.

The lady at the shop is extremely rude, was trying to cover up for her mistake and did not offer any solution. This place is extremely terrible, has no professionalism and clearly doesn't care for its customers so I would suggest you stay away from here. Thanks
