But they are 2 things that make them great. First - they are friendly and remember you after a while, and start asking questions about how are things. And they always have a little word to say to chat you up. It makes it more personal. Secondly - they are honest and reliant. I know it sounds bizarre to say that, but let's face it - it's not always the case! Once, my shirt got damaged and they had not noticed it. So I went back the next day to ask for a repair and they spontaneously offered to do it for free as they realised they had damaged the shirt in the first place. They are a few feet away from the station - it can't get more convenient. So give them a try. The beer is on me if you encounter a problem :)

I have to buy the odd pair of heavily discounted designer jeans Harvey in the Harvey Nics sale but they are always way too long (and I'm 5'7) so I take them to Unicorn who for under a tenner take the bottom hem off shorten the leg and put the bottom hem back on - and you'd never know the difference. Very clever. Warning though - unless things have changed - it's cash or cheque only so have your readies at the ready, as it were.

Danger to your financial health, beware! I have the…read moreunfortunate experience of dealing with over 3 of the Du Cane stores and the owner is extremely unprofessional and courteous. Du Cane was responsible for losing over £900 of my items from its stores. They transferred my clothes and linen between stores as I took in a batch of items for cleaning and some for dry-cleaning and they now can't locate them and say this is not their responsibility. The owners have not offered any compensation or even taken any action whatsoever and have actually tried blaming myself for them losing my items. Please beware and perhaps consider using another local cleaners for your own stress and financial health. Good luck otherwise.

The lady at the shop is extremely rude, was trying to cover up for her mistake and did not offer any solution.
