I wanted either a wide mouth with drainage holes or a tall slender pot. I got that and much more. My Ponytail came in a growers pot I just needed something cosmetically pleasing. I walked in this establishment and was met with first a "hello and welcome in" then to the left was BEAUTIFUL ceramic ombré pots, to the right was more colors, sizes and material. Further in the back I saw stripes and blends of color and further back I saw a pot with legs wow mind blowing. I expected these pots to be over $25, not the case I got two for $19.99. Two ceramic pots what a steal. I didn't buy any plants but I saw a Lemon Philodendron that is still on my mind, which I'm sure I'll be going back to purchase. Great service, product and customer service my new favorite place. Oh btw I just started a hydroponic system (countertop) and they had how to books, books for beginner plant mom/dads. This place is truly amazing. There are so many awesome things you can buy from seasonal decorations to stationary to handmade artisan work. And their plants are phenomenal. We also accidentally strolled into one of their outdoor areas that was restricted because we were gaping at all of the amazing plants and didn't notice the signs. The employee working there didn't say anything to us, but just grinned when we realized we weren't supposed to be there. We really appreciated the fact that she was not upset with us, at least not out loud. LOL.

I expected a better experience from Urban Rooftops after having a private terrace built in 2024…read more I invested in a fixed roof for an ~800 square foot terrace that included steel beams and formal permitting, etc. process. Spending ~$40,000 along the way, I would have expected Urban Rooftops to be more responsive and aligned to my project. There was an initial site visit from the project manager who designed my terrace however I don't recall him ever coming back post initial consultation. The lack of project management and execution is where my frustration lies. I don't believe the fit and finish of the project aligned with the proposal. I have beams that still have their measurement markings on them, a roof I can't access that is littered with their chemical / glue footprints and overall there are final steps I expected to be taken (i.e. clean up after yourselves and leave me with a finished product) that were not taken. I've requested multiple times to have the concerns addressed and have gotten no where (after 3+ months). All I've requested to date is to have someone clean the roof I can't get to where the crews' shoe prints are throughout. I thought they would have better pride of their end deliverable and interest to leave projects better than when they found them.

They did some nice landscaping for us, as well as our common areas, have been taken care of our snow and ice, too. But I don't know what's going on over there right now. Specifically, snow removal has been in particularly slow. It has me concerned because we haven't had that much of it. I get that when there's a crush, it's gonna take a minute. But when snow removal for a few inches that came overnight doesn't even begin until late in the afternoon the next day, that's a problem. Especially when there's no communication. I just worry that in their absence, somebody will slip and hurt themselves. And then it's the association's problem for not getting the snow cleared. With that, there is no snow right now. It's been a couple weeks since they've been here. For some reason, we have to keep sending asks for where they are. We get speedy responses, but it's getting to be a lot of work to be their customer. To be honest, we are looking for other vendors.

So I did a search and contacted about 10 different interior landscaping services. Lisa from Plants Inc. responded. She came to our space and we did a walk around and looked at the space, lighting, I gave her our ideas. She knew SO much about the plants, how they work in what spaces, and she had some very innovative ideas for where to put plants and how- which made her stand out from some of the other services who I talked to. She was very willing to work within our budget and make adjustments so we got what we wanted- within a price range. The proposal she created for us was also probably the easiest to understand. I appreciated that because I had to go through and explain each proposal to management. We have not decided which service we will go with yet, but Lisa at Plants Inc. did such a great job, she is in the top 3, and I would be very happy to continue working with her.
