She had hip replacement surgery and the employee that helped us, Jake, gave us the paper work we needed only asking the reason. That was all. Because of this outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction, my wife plans to rejoin as soon as she can. The policies cannot be beat. I cannot say enough about how clean the place is, how great the employees are, and their "no trap" policy. Even if you fulfill the terms of your contract the gym will attempt to bill you for services they do not provide. A classic example predatorial, unethical, abusive, and deceptive billing practice. Then, if you do not pay, they threaten to send your account to collection. I am in the process of filing complaints with the Tennessee Better Business Bureau, Tennessee division of Consumer Affairs, and the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. I am leaving reviews on Google, Yelp, Nextdoor, and other social media apps to warn others of the danger of joining Workout Anytime. I have canceled my membership and will not accept the unfair and shady business practice that this gym has become notorious for. Nice Gym, Good Equipment, Good Price…read more So to start this out I almost never even came to this gym because the reviews were rough. I'm glad I came because this is actually a really good gym! The people who made the bad reviews seem to have some personal issue or I'm not sure what with this gym. I like this gym, it's a good value for what you are paying. If you compare it to lifetime fitness and fail to realize you pay $100 a month less per person here you are not being fair to them. It's a good gym. I want to give 4.5 stars and they don't need much to get 5 stars. I like the Hammer Strength Plate Loaded equipment, it's great quality and ergonomic. I had never really used any technogym equipment before and I must say the ellipticals upstairs with the straps instead of linkage on the back is possibly the best long stride elliptical I have used! They have childcare! This is great, you just have to watch the hours as it's not available mid day for a few hours. They have a huge pool I haven't used yet. They have classes I haven't tried yet. They have CrossFit there too. I'll make a better review with more pictures another time, I just wanted to give these people the frost they deserve since they need some real reviews. Friendly Notes for the gym to make 5 stars: #1. The Techno-Gym ellipticals need to be leveled so they don't wobble. 1 in the far back row on the right? upstairs isn't usable for a 230 pound man or it had a death wobble when you're at level 20 and pushing. #2. An inner outer thigh machine would be appreciated. The only one is in the women's only room.... 3. An ankle strap for the cable cross would be appreciated. 4. A water bottle refill station would be appreciated. 5. An abdominal twist machine would be great too. 6. The life fitness chest press adjustment cable has been broken a long time. 7. The upstairs 45 degree back extension behind the cardio needs new slide inserts so it doesn't wobble all over.
