Mike, the DJ, did a fantastic job from beginning to end for my wedding. I lived in Texas, where the wedding was, and he was in Colorado. I was nervous about being a thousand miles away from a vendor at first, but from the moment my fiancé and I contacted Mike to see about DJ'ing at our wedding reception we both knew booking him would be a great decision. He was very professional yet personable. Mike was exceptionally great at contacting my fiancé and I through out our engagement to see if everything was going ok and if he could be of any assistance. He was NEVER difficult to get a hold of to communicate with and always gave us plenty of time with him to be sure we felt comfortable going into the wedding reception. We were pleased that Mike also had all of his equipment that was necessary and set up on time. I truly believe that Mike proved himself as a DJ when he did our reception because it began at 12:30 in the afternoon. Though it was an early event, there was no problem at all with getting people on the dance floor and staying on there. I was SO HAPPY about that. All in all, if you need a DJ, Mike is your man. He knows artists from all times and genres. He was very detail oriented, personable, professional, easy to contact, can read audiences unbelievably well in terms of what would be appropriate at certain times, and distance was no challenge for him to help make our wedding reception a great memory forever. On August 8, 2015, I married the love of my life at the Tivoli Turnhalle. I was lucky enough to have DJ Ignight provide his exceptional services for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The entire day was a magical event for me and my wife,Tawnya, and it would not have been possible without the help of DJ Ignight. Ignight arrived to the venue early for sound check, was on point with all of the ceremony songs, and helped to coordinate all of the memorable moments of the evening. Yes, the sound was great. Yes, he played the music we wanted to hear. Moreover, Ignight was a part of the wedding because he is a genuine, talented and personable person who truly cares about his clients. My wife and I were impressed with him at our initial meeting. He worked with us to create special playlists and to make sure our wedding was seamless. My wife and I could not have found a better DJ to party with at our wedding reception! Throughout the whole process Mike from Ignight Entertainment was professional, accommodating and a ton of fun! We were able to request exactly what we wanted for each section of the night (and he will even help you plan the flow of your reception). There are some vendors who show up and do things the way they've always done them. Not with Mike. He will listen to YOUR vision for what you want to do and make it happen, exactly as you ask him to. He was able to accommodate some last minute changes without any difficulty. He mixes all the music live, so the songs flow super well throughout the night (doesn't feel like a playlist like some weddings do). When the crowd started thinning on the dance floor, he always had the right song to get everybody back out there and having a good time. My now wife and I found Ignight Entertainment at a same-sex friendly wedding show and it was love at first site. The beats DJ Amberdehn was throwing down stood out from the playlist jockeys we had been familiar with in the past. From the initial meeting until the last contact post-wedding Amber and Mike were nothing short of phenomenal. They were inviting, inclusive, on top of any communication and were open to any requests we wanted to be a part of our special day. Our guests still talk about how it was the best reception they've ever been a part of. No one wanted to leave the dance floor! They were professional as they ran the sound for our ceremony as well and the musicians we had perform were ecstatic with the top of the line equipment they provided as well as the friendly interactions making sure everything ran smoothly. I can't say enough good things about Mike. Our wedding was in July this past summer and he was a HUGE help. First off, he's such a nice guy and just an all around likable person. The sound during our outdoor ceremony was perfect (even with live musicians playing 200 feet from the nearest power outlet). Our party at the reception was a blast and the music was perfect. Weeks after the wedding our friends were still talking about how great he was. We had the reception in a barn and the power went out after about an hour after everyone hit the dance floor. Mike did an amazing job at keeping the crowd going, and when the power came back on 45 minutes later, the party really got going (the barn owner had to get a generator). He's great on the mic and will accommodate your every need. Fantastic equipment too. And he's cheaper than most!!! No reason to hire anyone else for your wedding/party/reception/entertainment needs. read more

This is a well deserved but belated review! Mike was an incredible DJ at our wedding 7/11/16. My husband and I STRONGLY recommend him. I'd never been to a wedding at which so many compliments were going around from our guests about how fun and awesome our DJ was! They complimented on how interactive he was, and how he kept the party pumping and night flowing! What so many people don't realize until their wedding day, is how essential an expert DJ is to the flow of your day. He was a great troubleshooter, gracious host, and excellent at transitioning from our ceremony site into the reception area without and disruption of the flow. He was well-organized and provided us with tools that we could all use in order to ensure a smooth progression of the night. He made everything seem effortless and took a lot of the stress away from the bride/groom-- which was much appreciated! I cannot say enough good things about Mike and Ignight Entertainment! Mike was great from the start- responsive to my questions via email, flexible with meeting in person, and excited about the songs we wanted to play. He had no problem with shifting our timescale a half hour later, which really made a difference at the end of the night. We can't recommend Mike highly enough as our wedding DJ in Breckenridge. He was helpful and communicative from day one and was pivotal in making sure that our wedding day went smoothly! We didn't have a coordinator and Mike happily took on the master of ceremonies role and really went above and beyond. Mike was fantastic! He was our dj for my husband and I's wedding and we could be more happy with him. Mike was an extreme pleasure to work with. Not only was the music at our reception engaging and exciting, Mike also put in some extra time for several special requests. My husband and I were eager to have two singers for my walk down the isle instead of a prerecorded song.
