We went for a stem class for school. It was very informative and the kids had a really great time flying! It was $40 for a one minute flight... It's normally $80 for a four minute flight I believe. My 6th grader came here with the gifted and talented program at his school. The flight teams were so kind and informative. The kids learned a ton and had a great time flying. iFly was also not on my 2020 bingo card. My nephew came up with it and I was iffy. I've tried a few new things this year, but I draw the line at skydiving. I'm more ok with calculated risks though and indoor skydiving is a good alt for the risk-averse among us. It's not a cheap thrill, but it is a thrill for first timers nonetheless. As a starter, I got the 2 flight package where each flight lasts 60 seconds. Total price was $59.95, so this is one of those things I won't be doing often. They do try to do a minor amount of up sell, but it's light and I appreciated that they weren't pushy. The price includes the gear rental and after my ride I heard you can opt for a helmet with visor for an extra charge. I'd do that next time. You meet your instructor and they explain the process. Our instructor was Cameron and he was fantastic. Tipping is optional, but I made sure to leave one when it was over. After suiting up, you watch a 5 minute infomercial and the instructor guides you on the next steps and what to expect. There is an optional high flight at the end for an extra $20. For us first-timers, the first flight is about acclimating to the new sensory load - roaring wind, breathing, and body position. The instructor does try to direct you but with varying degrees of success. It gets much easier on subsequent flights and my nephew agreed. On my second flight I was better able to follow directions and figure out how to position my hands to turn left and right. That was an eye opener for me. I'm so glad I did it. read more

Came in after buying their Black Friday special that was a package of 10 total flights, 5 high flights, 5 videos, and 5 pictures for about $200 with tax. You can split it among 1 - 5 people, so I used it as a Christmas gift for the S.O. We had a phenomenal time with Cameron as our flight instructor. He was absolutely amazing! Very funny, all the while very helpful and made us feel incredibly safe while we were in the wind tunnel. The Black Friday deal was fantastic since we've been wanting to try out iFly for awhile. Given the deal, we were able to experience a lot of it, even if 10 minutes split between two doesn't sound like much. Flying up and down the tunnel and spinning around in circles had us exhausted, but thrilled. Despite our wonderful time, we don't find ourselves wanting to come back as the cost is exorbitant for the amount of time you actually get. I booked a flight for an intro birthday packaged of 6 people for my 2 boys birthday request. Diego was an awesome instructor. We added the Hiflight to make it at full blast experience. This was our first indoor skydiving! We enjoyed it but an overall 2 minutes of enjoyment (each person) inside of the tunnel is not worth of the price that you have pay. Too overpriced. DH decided to buy a voucher(half of d regular price) for his sons bday gift tryout. Now I'm really pursuing to try the real one for comparison. read more

Hank was our instructor. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. The kids in our group were made to feel comfortable and secure. The entire process from check-in, the instructive pre-flight class, to the flight was a smooth process. When checking in you have the option to upgrade (for $10 a person) to what's called 'high flying'. With your two minute window, which is broken up into two separate flights, you get an option to be assisted in flight toward the top of the tunnel. I would recommend this for anyone looking for the extra thrill. Flying in the tube is like yoga on steroids. You must have good core strength and muscle tone to hold certain poses in order to achieve the maximum benefit while in the tube. An instructor is always in with you to keep you from flopping around, for those that can't quite obtain the correct posture in air. Don't stress... hardly anyone gets it right the first time. But as you continue to fly your body remembers what works and you're able to fly with more precision. This is an amazing experience!! It's one of my favorite things to do and encourage anyone (without back or shoulder issues) to give it a fly. read more

I won a group outing here at an auction and enjoyed the experience of trying it, but I won't return on my own dime. Here's why: 1. The set up and orientation takes 1-2 hours, but your actual fly time is only 1-2 minutes. So its a lot of time suiting up, watching videos, walking around, waiting, waiting, and waiting. Then you're done flying so fast. 2. It is REALLY expensive. This could not be a casual hobby nor good for a large group unless you have a discount. 3. They charge for all the videos and pictures at the end. Which is lame, because they would get free advertising from it. read more

Our family made a trip to iFLY a few weeks ago and we had a blast! The place seems high-end and well-tended, and we felt like our safety was taken very seriously. My niece, who is eight, flew with us, as did my father-in=law, who is around 65 years old (though he's in quite good shape). There were seven of us who flew and three who watched and took pictures. Everything was comfortable and clear and everyone had a great time! Our trainer, Mike Plato, walked us through the process and helped us get the most out of our minutes in the chamber. Amazing experience, we stopped in after a long RV travel day. This hit the spot! The staff was great, we had a short classroom "how to" suited up then got ready for our flight. I have been skydinving a few times before, this is all the thrills without the long plane ride and a lot more freefall time! My sons 9 & 10 tried it, Zak (9) liked it but complained it was hard to breathe because of the wind. Ty (10) only lasted a few seconds, he could not keep his legs straight and looked like Gumby. I was super excited to try indoor skydiving but I didn't really feel like I was skydiving. I just felt like I was in a giant wind tunnel. The trainer was actually fairly rude and he was in the tunnel the entire time to basically hold you in place while a stream of air shot up on you as you tried to hold still. My friend and I had a nice time because we always do but the event itself was pricey for the experience and requires some skill to learn. read more

Stopped by on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised by this tunnel. It's a shorter tunnel with a bottom diameter of 12 feet. It's a great tunnel for first time fliers, but there are other tunnels I'd recommend for return flyers. Wasn't sure how this worked, but they start you out in levels. The first time you do it, a trainer is with you. Our son and his cousin were treated by their grandfather and they had a great time. They got to fly 2 times, the 1st the trainer holds on to them while he stands. The 2nd time he flew with them and that was cool. read more

Price for amount of time you get is pretty steep. It was fun, but won't go again. The instructor we had did not give good directions/was not clear. He was not a good leader. Whenever we asked him to clarify something or just a general question he would seem annoyed. I had to ask him several times on how to do something because he did not follow through with instructions. He spent most of his time goofing off and showing off, not being professional. In the end, he was just plain rude to me when I was leaving. This made what should have been a fun experience, not the greatest. If I ever go back, maybe it would be better because I would have a different instructor, but you just don't get enough time in the space. I also don't feel like I had a proper experience in the space because of the lack of communication with the instructor. read more

Super great fun for my first time doing this. Thorough and knowledgable staff. I enjoyed the fly time, its harder than you might think to balance. My head felt a little rattled when it was over.
