We came for a day off and to run out the energy of my toddler. The staff was kind and informative about new rules or procedures since we hadn't been in a while. Atmosphere was great. The staff cleaned consistently too. I didn't have to worry about my child since they had cameras available where I couldn't see him and posted to a tv mount. We even grabbed some fresh fruit and snacks. My only complaint is the pricing of some items but, inflation is to blame I'm sure. Will be coming back. I purchased a birthday party package for one of my grandsons this past weekend. I did not know what to expect as I've never been here before. First off, I definitely turned into the wrong area because it does not stand out being in the back of a complex. The front area where you check in is SO small. Our party of 11teen was trying to check in while two other parties were trying to leave, and then other people were coming in also. It was sort of a mess. Our party time was 2 to 3:30. We were able to get in to the room at five till. It took about twenty or so minutes just to set up our minimal decorations. (Supposedly you get fifteen minutes for set-up but that is NOT enough time in my opinion.) Also an hour and a half isn't long enough either. Not for the cost. We did not order pizza - we brought in cupcakes - so I can't say anything about that option. It did seem as if they had lots of drink options and other snacks if needed though. The jungle gyms, or whatever they're called, were pretty fun honestly! I would definitely bring the grand back here, but most likely wouldn't do a party again. Very busy but extremely clean. There was constantly someone cleaning the entire time we were there which was really nice. Wiping down tables with spray, vacuuming, sweeping, etc. The employees were attentive and would go inside the super busy areas to monitor. Honestly the cleanest playplace I've been to. I took my little boy here today and Im not sure that I loved it. The playscape is nice and big enough so long as there are not too many kids. Other than that they have a small area where there is a little market, firehouse and doctors office which was pretty cute. I wanted to trust that my toddler would be okay on his own in the playscape but there is an area that is filled with foam blocks that is in the very back of the playscape and I just had a huge fear of my baby getting lost in there or kids not seeing him...and it was not easy to monitor that area. There were also quite a lot of big kids running around fast with no regard to the little kids around. My toddler's favorite thing was playing with the balls and shooting them into the ball pit area. At one point I heard a worker say she was "confiscating" the baskets because the balls were getting dumped. Like she was angry the kids were playing with the balls. Another time when I was in the firehouse with my kid a worker came in and was rudely putting toys away and actually grabbed something he had just put down and put it away. Did not sit right with me at all. We most likely will not return...there are better places to go where the workers are much more cordial. read more

I love breakaway. It's clean...super clean, it's enough to keep the kids entertained, and it's fairly priced. It's also the perfect place to bring your kids if you want to blink while they play and not worry about them coming up missing. We always get the membership because it's worth it for my large family. The price is $10 each kid and they have specials on Tuesday and Thursday. I also like that they serve snacks and can order pizza (for an additional cost). This place is great! When I was looking at the few pictures that were first posted (we went after they had only been open a month or so) I was worried it would be small and just meant for toddlers. I brought my 10 y.o., 8 y.o., and 6 y.o. and they all had a blast! The play structure was way bigger than what the pictures showed, they were decently priced and we just happened to show up on a Thursday morning when they had a 'buy one entry get one free' promo! We happened to be in town for a week visiting family and the kids loved it so much we came back again a second time! Can't think of a better way to get your kids moving, this place burns off sugar and for me, a few calories. This place seems great for the 3 and older crowd. It has slides, ball blasters, vacuum ball shooters, trampolines, obstacle courses, tunnels, bridges, you name it! The living room area with TVs is super comfy and I'm sure the kids get to play a bit longer because I'm not uncomfortable. Things that aren't my favorite, but aren't exactly detractors . . . For kids like 2 and under, if they start freaking out, it would be quite a maze of adventure, trying to get to them as the playground portion is massive. For all other kids though, being so big, is also what makes it great. There is also free Wifi. They put candy and goodies out on the floor for little hands to grab. A small sign near the side street would be much easier than having to look up directions online (they are south of the elevation trampoline place, different building). The high glass cement floors are SUPER slick. A kid might fall and be fine, but as an adult I might not end up in as good of shape. I would say a standard of gripping socks only would fix this issue, at least that will be our personal rule going forward. That's it! The owner, the husband of the husband and wife duo, was super friendly and it's great knowing he is a police officer as well. I have followed along during their building of this place and the mom -owner appears to have really put her heart into the business. I can only imagine this will be a birthday hotspot! read more

Huge indoor facility.. 3 story enclosed playset with multiple slides, foam pit, trampoline, ball cannons... basically Heaven for any child wanting to burn off some energy! They even have play houses! Wonderful owners, very friendly and accommodating. Snack bar with lots of choices, and FREE coffee! Plenty of area and locations to work while your kids play, and even a lounge area with TVs and couches!! They thought of it all! Only $10 a child, and you can stay as long as you like! read more

The PERFECT place to get sick, because they let in kids that have a wet cough - shouldn't that be a barrier to entering? I won't be back here. It wasn't terrible, but I really don't want to go back if people regularly bring their sick kid in to play and get everyone else sick. I'm a stay at home mom always looking for fun new spots to try out with my son. A friend and I decided to take our kids here one very cold dreary winter morning. At 10:00 on a Thursday morning this place was already packed! It was $10.00 which seemed very expensive to me - no other play place is this pricey. They offered super nice comfy couches and a lounge area for parents to sit and relax plenty of tables throughout along the café area which is so smart on their part they offer everything from dippin dots to pizza delivery to chips at super convenient prices. You can't bring in your own food and drinks which I feel both ways: 1. the price of admission is so dang pricey they want to make even more off you from food! 2. the food prices are reasonable at least The actual play area was super fun and interactive if your kiddo can't walk yet save your money and take them to okie kids more activities and things for them to do. There is a big ball pit in the back of the huge jungle gym area which I feel like there are constantly "bullies" slamming kids down into the pit or jumping on top of kids. It happened to my son 3x and my friend said it has happened before. I wish they had a worker back there watching over the area or something. The restrooms were super clean and the place itself seemed clean in general. There's tons of areas for kids to keep them busy and occupied from : ball blasters, bridges, tunnels, obstacle courses, etc. this place has it all! It was fun! I was told they deep clean every Saturday. They have lounge areas for the adults and plenty to do for kids. I wish they had more for toddlers though. So tonight I witnessed a woman's son being beat up by two older kids. The child that was kicked and being held down and punched was shaken and his mother intervened. She asked the kids to tell her what happened and the bullies mom said her son threw a "foam" ball at them and refused to acknowledge it happened. The mother spoke with the owners and they dismissed the claim and acted as if it was "okay" that this younger child was pummeled by these other children who where obviously older and much larger. The woman was upset, and rightfully so. There was 0 accountability from the mother or the owners. The owners then asked the mother to leave. This is unacceptable behavior by the kids, there mom, and the owners. This was an assault. We'll never go back. read more

Went here for the first time on Tuesday. I have to say the staff is super friendly and polite. The facilities offer a lot. The play area is big enough for all kids. I love the fact they have the little play areas for pretend play (little fire house, market, and dr office). I especially love the attention to cleanliness. I saw them clean often while I was there. The prices at the snack bar are pretty reasonable too. The bathrooms were hospital grade clean so I didn't feel uncomfortable walking with socks in there. Very clean and pristine. The manic weather of Oklahoma keeps being a parent interesting to say the least. Breakaway is a blessing during the heat, cold and any time the kddos are stir crazy and the park just won't cut it. The location is on the edge of Edmond, in a industrial/wear house area. Next to a kitchen remodel place and learn to brew place... hey... hmmm.. Anyway, for $10 and change your little one can run, jump, climb, bounce, slide, swing, pretend and play their little heart out as long as the place is open. Rules: sign the waiver, wear socks and be civilized. Our 2 1/2 year old loves this place. She want's us to hang out with her a bit, then pretty much runs and does her own thing. The place has wifi and TV for the adults. They want you to buy the snacks there.... but the prices are pretty good. 2 juice boxes, a trial mix, rice krispy treat, and gummies ran me about $4 and change. Coffee is free. They do sanitize the whole place and show the process on their FB page. They have party areas and places for breast feeding. The bathrooms are pretty nice and constantly are being cleaned. My only issue is that the last time we came here two kids vomited. Poor kids. My issue is with the staff. It is like they have never seen vomit before. It took over 20 minutes to half way clean up the mess. The whole production made me feel bad for the dad of one kid; a staff member made a face and comment that was not helpful or "kind". The other area should have been stripped to the floor and contained. I am surprised Breakaway does not have a vomit protocol or kit for dealing with this. I would not like to see how they handle poo or blood. The staff at the time was all under the age of 20, or even 18. This is something that can improve, and I hope it does. read more

Called them and I was right there! very reasonably priced, have a system where kids are given stickers matching your number so they can't leave with someone else. It really is a nice play area! This place is a lifesaver for parents. I brought my 1 year old here and she had the time of her life. This was her first time going to a playground and she was in heaven. Despite her being itty bitty, she played on everything: the slides, the foam pit, the ball area, the baby area (where she should be) and even the little grocery store. I love the fact that I can go in with her and supervise everything. Which is great especially when the bigger kids are running amok. I have to make sure they don't run my little one over! He enjoyed the little boutique houses and all of the other activity places as well. I have a new born and this place has a very comfortable nursery which I think is a good idea to have in places like this. I can't recommend this place. It gives Black Mirror vibes when their business model wants that much control over your food. Obviously to get you to buy food from them. First, it's expensive- especially if you bring multiple children. They're strict on no outside food/drink and have an automated voice come on speaker reminding you of this rule. You're forced to purchase the food they have on the premises (chips, candy bars and you can order pizza but only every hour and they don't have automated messages letting you know when you should place but I guess it would be weird of them to make you read this huge sign/listen to the automated "no outdoor food allowed" and then ask you to put your pizza order in to Marcos and they'll deliver but you HAVE to order through breakaway and not in your own or it's considered outside food and they won't allow it). You also are not allowed re-entry the same day so you cannot go get lunch/food and return. Lots of people having dietary restrictions nowadays so this is barbaric. When I asked about something I noticed a sign saying "We're used to stupid questions" and thought that was distasteful. Especially at a place that children, who are very aware of words and what you say, are playing at. I don't allow others to dictate what I eat and don't support businesses that do this. I was highly uncomfortable here and I can say with certainty I will not pay to come back. If you love people dictating what you eat and throwing your money out the window this is the place for you. read more

This is by far the cleanest playground we've ever been to. On top of that I was pleasantly surprised to find out they keep a staff member at the gate and have a matching sticker system (like at church). We've been to other playgrounds and I'm constantly stressed trying to make sure my kids don't run out. This time I felt like I could just enjoy playing with my kids and when they split up I wasn't worried. This is definitely my new favorite playground in okc. I'm sad I didn't give it a try earlier. I also saw the staff walking around the entire time we were there. They were always cleaning. Overall it was a great experience and we will for sure be back. read more
