We went back into the car, but we then realized that he had given her problems that her phone never had. her Home Screen and Lock Screen had a glitch on it where it looked like static. I had shattered my iPhone 6s Plus so I messaged a few places on yelp for a quote. I got quoted $110 and 20 minutes from whomever monitors their yelp account, but when I walked in they tried to charge me $130 and 25 minutes. I was confused and showed the gentleman my yelp quote and he did honor it. My phone looks great but I'm only giving 4 stars bc If I didn't have my yelp message handy I would have gotten overcharged. That's not cool. REVIEW UPDATE halloween my screen died.. decided to go somewhere else and they showed me how it was a faulty low grade screen.. PLUS this place didn't put screws back in! I dropped my Samsung S7 and cracked the screen! So I took it to iFix Phones on the 2nd floor at Emerald Square Mall (not the kiosk on the 1st floor). They were able to replace the screen within 15-20 minutes and it cost about $220. This is very reasonable and better than paying for a new phone. The staff were friendly and did a fantastic job with the replacement. The phone looks brand new! I strongly advise calling the store ahead of time to make sure they have the correct model and color of replacement screen for your phone BEFORE walking in. I needed a screen for a gold S7 and they didn't have it in stock when I initially went it. But they took my number so they could call me when the screen came in. Lucky for me, they had a delivery later that day and called to let me know it was in. They replaced the screen without issue and it looks as good as new. I do have to mention that it appears they use screens from used phones. When the screen has a white background, I can see an imprint of an error message in the upper left hand corner of the screen. It is probably an error message from a previous phone that was burned into the screen. While it isn't apparent on backgrounds other than white, or even to other people, it is still there. Overall, I'm happy to overlook that small imperfection in order to have an intact screen for a fraction of the replacement cost. read more

I went in there a couple months ago to repair and replace my S3 charging port, they said no problem. I came back and they said it could not be repaired, there was a broken cable inside. I asked if there were any higher levels of tech and repair in the area and they said no. But they acted strange. But overall I thought they were very friendly bunch of guys and gals So Instead I bought a cell battery wall charger since the port could not be repaired. I ended up with a cheap 1A charger that worked like S___ God, are we not all sick of companies selling us dirt cheap products out of China. Typical crap They did try to sell me a new "authentic" Samsung S3 battery for $45? I said no as these batteries are all over Ebay and Amazon from $5.00 - $8.00 I finally took the phone to another repair place down the street, 80 East Washington Street. Thank God, this was the advanced tech and repair place I was looking for. I told them my experience. They opened the phone up and said God, they sure messed up your phone! Not only was the port not put in properly but it was sloppy. Ifixphones made a mess of my phone, three USB port cables were broken by their amateur repair people. This new guy ripped all the USB Port wiring out, then made/soldered all new connections/wires from the port to the motherboard!! It now works perfectly! Live and learn! These guys were several notches up the food chain, and a pleasure to see, experts in their field. read more

Worst experience ever! They claim to have a "6 month warranty" if there are any software problems with your phone after they replaced my cracked screen. My phone will freeze ever time I try to send a text message. My battery life is less than 6 hours and then it needs to be recharged. The place charges $69.99 when every other place will charge $50. When I went to the owner to honor my warranty, he offered to fix the problem for $30. Buyer beware!!!! read more

I am very very pleased by the service I received from this shop (the one on the 2d floor of the mall). I'm not sure if they are affiliated with the kiosk downstairs that sells accessories and also fixes phones, but I had a question and a serious problem with my phone and the guy was super helpful and got it fixed for me in under 30 minutes. Although I dealt with the 2d floor guy, the folks at the kiosk did the work. Could not be more pleased. I wish I could do this stuff myself so I could say I Fix Phones hahahaha. read more

These guys are amazing. My phone randomly turned off from water damage and I thought my phone was done. When I came in and told them the issue They immediately got to work and even replaced my cracked screen for cheaper than any other store I went to in the mall. They do not know what they are doing. Brought my Phone in for a cracked screen, which they repaired. Now the speaker on my phone does not work. I can't talk text, clients are complaining they can't hear me well and I cannot talk at all on speaker. They were courteous, but I have been back 4x for a repair on a problem they created. It will now cost me more to fix their mistake, including the time from work to get it fixed. And they claim to open at 10 and they still aren't open at 10:30am. Very frustrating!! When they finally did open they worked on my phone, it does finally seem to be fixed, and because of all the trouble they gave me a free case. Came here on Monday to get a screen replacement for my iPhone 6s. $100 and 20 minutes later, my phone looked okay but after using it, I realized they didn't do a good job. The touch on the phone doesn't work properly, and the screen that they use is bad quality. The color on my phone is distorted from the new screen and when I told they about it they claimed that it's the same color and they can't do anything about it. They claimed that the "free" screen protector they gave is worth $25- it has bubbles all over it and I can buy 3 on Amazon for $6!! These people are liars and theives, don't go here! read more

My battery went out of my phone when I was on vacation, I took it here they fixed it supposedly but it would never keep charge. I live 22 hours away so I had it fixed up a local store and they said it was a used Samsung battery, It probably came out of a used phone. I called 3 times and all I asked for was a refund and I would ship the old battery back to them which they refused. I understand that anybody could call and say they want a refund, this is not the case nor can I drive 22 hours to have the phone looked at. I guess I'll just write it off as a $53 loss. This establishment does not stand behind their work. I had a screen replaced and that evening it started having issues. It would make random phone calls on its own, the touch screen seemed to start controlling itself and opening apps and snapping pictures on its own. Then lines appeared across the screen. I brought it back and the owner accused me of dropping it (which was not true) because he said the lines were physical damage and that voided the warranty (of 3 days, no less). He ended up making me pay for a new screen and I really had no choice because my phone was not functional. Next time bite the bullet and go to Apple. At least they believe in their customers. read more

Stay away from this store. The repair people do not know what they are doing, they do not stand behind their repairs, and have terrible customer service. I have been in touch with the store three times and visited twice regarding the same repair. The employees were rude to the point of being abusive and were absolutely no help. Save your money. DO NOT take your devices here for repair. Went for a simple screen repair on an iPad and they wrecked the whole thing. Wouldn't re-start. Took me four trips into the store until they finally agreed to replace it. They said that I'd be getting a 'Brand New' iPad. Great right? Wrong. When I went to pick it up, it was a used and re-furnished one AND they made me pay for the repair on the broken iPad. They said there would be a 6-month warranty on the unit, but wouldn't provide a receipt or give me their names. I have no confidence that they'll stand behind this 'warranty'. read more

Went here Saturday 10/22 to have my screen replaced, my boyfriend brought the phone into the mall to the kiosk on the first floor. The man working told him it would be $200 to fix because I have the 6s plus. He told my boyfriend it would take no longer than 25 mins. We left and came back to the mall, my boyfriend went back in to pick up the phone and pay the $200. When he handed me the phone there was a message on the screen that says "phone disabled, connect to ITunes." I thought it was weird, as I have gotten my screen fixed here before and did not have that problem. I connected the phone to ITunes, and on the computer it said, "Please enter passcode on phone." I could not enter the password, as the phone was locked and the only options were to connect to iTunes or make an emergency phone call. We went back to the kiosk Sunday where a lady told us that because the LCD screen was broken the phone was probably typing in the password over and over and eventually disabled it. I have seen phones disabled for 1 hr, 1 day, 1 month, but never disabled and connect to ITunes. She told me I would have to delete everything off my phone and restart it. So I went home and followed directions to restart and lose all of my pictures, music, etc. (which they never told us when my boyfriend picked up the phone.) I am not even able to restart my phone. I tried for hours to restart it willing to lose all of my data and that still did not work no matter what I tried. This place broke my phone and told me it was neither my fault nor theirs, even though they knew it was broken when they handed the phone back to my boyfriend and did not say anything. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE I paid $200 for their 25 minutes and they broke my phone. If there was an option for no stars that's what they would receive. Do not get your phone fixed here. read more
