For over a decade we have been struggling daily with our computer system that had a multitude of problems. He came out to our offices and reviewed our entire system which consists of both iMac and PC Computers. Within one day his diagnosis was complete. The next day he brought in a new hard drive, installed more RAM, 3 external hard-drives to back up our IBackup Program, and spent a few more hours upgrading and fine tuning our computers, all the while searching and finding the rest of the "hidden demons". He was able to establish solid communications between our IMacs and the PC Server. This was one of our weakest links within the system, and Steve resolved it. For the past 30 days, we have not had any issue of being dropped, our systems open each morning quickly and without any mishap, our speed of operation has never been this fast, and all unnecessary popups are gone. Bilzi Mac Review First, let me say how grateful I am for Steve Bilzi of Bilzi Mac. Thank you, Steve! I am an author and write a detective mystery series. I had been writing when my Mac had prompted me to install the High Sierra update. I don't usually install an update without checking to see what it is but for some reason, this time I did. The next morning I was eager to get back to work on my book and started my computer. When that dreaded grey bar got stuck, I didn't panic, I just did a forced shutdown and tried again. As you can probably imagine, it wouldn't boot. Now I was getting concerned. I went on my iPad and started looking for fixes. Step by step, I attempted to reboot with no luck. Did I panic? Not yet, but I decided that it was time to bring in the big guns and I called AppleCare, only to be told by the representative that I had already tried everything he was going to walk me through and he'd have to connect me with his supervisor. YIKES! After going through the steps that I had taken, he calmly told me I'd need a specialist. I was referred to Steve at Bilzi Mac and all I can say is thank goodness! When everyone else told me that there was no chance of recovering my files, Steve was a calming force for me. I am happy to report that Steve rescued every chapter! I allowed 3 other techs to try to repair some issues with my Mac Mini. I had some serious problems. The other 3 companies messed up my computer even WORSE. I run a small business from my home & need my computer to run it. I ended up having to buy a new computer. My daughters MacBook Air auto updated while she was shopping one night, and after she came home- it would not reboot. We tried some solutions we found on line- and nothing worked at all. We contacted Bilzi Mac, and Sue was absolutely fantastic. I brought the unit by, and they kept it for a few hours- not only fixing the boot issue, but completing all of the updates, and even performing a full back up onto a separate hard drive I provided, at no additional charge. My daughters entire college career is on that laptop, including Thesis research, and her Fullbright application (You might think someone that smart would be backing things up already...But I digress) and not only did they save all of that, and get the unit up and running, they did it quickly, efficiently, for a great price, and with a wonderfully helpful disposition. Actually, Steve and Sue are much better than five stars, closer to 10+. People with integrity and honesty are not easy to find in the business world today; stop by and you will see these traits in action. Not many companies work till 2:00 in the morning to solve a Mac issue. I thought excellent customer service, great attitudes and quality workmanship were a thing of the past, but, Bilzi Mac demonstrates these qualities every time you walk in the door. Bilzi Mac is the only one for my wife and me for Apple device service. Others advertised that they service Macs, but they charged way more and could not resolve any of the issues that Steve resolved in minutes. Once I found Bilzi Mac, I was sold. Even the Apple Store in Raleigh recommended them as the place to go in Wilmington (I don't know if I should write that!). And Sue, who answers the phone, is maybe the friendliest person I ever spoke to, and she also can resolve your problems right over the phone, or diagnose them! Thanks to great reviews online and from business associates I located this business! I have a MacBook Pro 2009 and needed a new battery. I had previously had a frustrating experience with City Mac, who "required" a 2 day diagnostic that cost $49.00 and of course, came back stating that I needed a new battery...which I already knew. Then they informed me that they would have to order the battery which would mean that I would have to leave the computer with them another 3 days. After taking the computer back I did more research and found Bilzi. I dropped in without an appointment and they were great....replaced the battery within 15 minutes! read more

I actually haven't had to hire Bilzi Mac yet, but that's exactly why I'm leaving this review. Steve and Sue are of the highest integrity and have helped me troubleshoot a couple of problems over the phone already rather than requiring coming out for an on-site repair (Time Capsule related). If I ever do need an actual technician, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They've won my business based on integrity and friendly customer service. Had two macs (MacBook Pro Black, IMac) both purchased back in 2008. Both recently experienced problems. The laptop had display problems, and the iMac was locking up for an unknown reason. Found Bilzi Mac after hearing about them on the radio. The laptop was repaired in one day! The iMac had an overnight stay and came back good as new! If you have a Mac of any vintage and have problems, Steve and Sue are the best. They know Mac products and will solve your problem. I called on Wednesday morning. It appeared that I had lost the data off an external drive used to back up my desktop. Steve called back within 2 hours. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of an exam at my doctor's office. Steve called back at around 8:00 PM that evening.
