Not helpful and rude. Don't use this service. It's bait and switch! Customer service is incompetent.

Scammers!! I called in to cancel the service (under my name) because I don't live in the location and the service was for my aunt who don't need their unreliable service anymore. They give me such a hard time to verify the account. Most company just verify my last 4 SSN, name, and service address, not sure why they want the email address and phone number (i signed up 10 years ago and dont remember if i even gave them an email). Told me to hang up to get the info they want to verify ready and call back. I called back literally 5 minutes later and the automatic msg said they are closed for training and to call back tomorrow. ARE YOU SERIOUS??! its 11 am monday! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! read more

Not reliable at all, many outages lasting multiple days up to a week. Seems they only work M-F 8-4. Their cuntstumer service is top notch. Lol read more

There are far more outages with iFIBER than any other local internet service providers. Aside from the internet frequently being down, which wreaks havoc on people who work from home, their customer service response to it lacks. They don't acknowledge the frequency of such events, especially with regard to other providers not having near as many outages, but they even went as far as to turn commenting off on their social media yesterday when people began questioning what was happening. After being a loyal customer for many years, I switched providers yesterday to a provider with a much better reputation locally. I highly do not recommend. read more

I work 50-70 hours per week 6 months of the year . My internet went out because of an old cable into the house. Luis was In another town, but consulted with me after hours and coordinated everything to be resolved within 24 hours! Horrible service. They advertise themselves as the "fastest Internet service provider (ISP) in the State of Washington, if not the country." Such a complete lie. They suffer from constant packet loss (hope you're not a gamer) and horribly slow speeds. During peak times, you're lucky to get 10 megabits. Their technical team is incompetent. It seems as they do ZERO proactive monitoring. I've tried working with their so-called "Network engineers" and its obvious they are not "engineers" in any sense of the word. When provided with stats showing latency, packet loss, and speed tests, they go quiet. I used to recommend iFiber to co-workers and friends. I've switched ISPs and will be recommending my current ISP over iFiber to everyone who will listen. I've sent an email to their CEO and got no response. Its obvious he's not interested in making his product better and still trying to ride the coat-tails of press from years ago. The CEO's name is "Kelly". Look at the other reviews on here. He's reviewed his own company. That says a lot. read more

You call for service and usually the voice on hold says "Thank you for holding, your business is important to us and we will be with you as soon as we can" Here, you hear this every 20 seconds "If you prefer to leave a message and prefer to have a representative call you back, please press * thank you" Just one more example to their stellar service...Not! read more

I agree with all of the reviews below!! I have had this service, going on 3 yrs. The past 4 months, internet has been spotty at best. The first week I tried calling, all I got was busy signals. When I did reach a person, he was rude about it was Sunday and talked down to me like I was 5 yrs old. When I reached office finally, I was informed they were having problems in my county, no idea when it would be resolved. I asked if customers could expect a discount or refund for all of the time there was no service and paid for...I got hung up on. I am actively looking for another carrier in my area. read more

iFIBER COMMUNICATIONS is a great, local internet service provider that really goes above and beyond for their community! They frequently set up events in new areas to engage the community. They even gave away 200 pumpkins plus the entry fees this October into a pumpkin farm! iFIBER is amazing! read more

we ended up having an issue where the payment card we were using for payment ended up expiring. We were not aware of this but the situation was remedied by noon today. after 5 hours still no internet. I called them and informed them of the situation and they said sorry we're waiting for the pud. I said it does not take 5 hours to reactivate internet. Especially when new service takes less than an hour. I asked to speak to the techs supervisor, he put me on a brief hold. After the brief hold he comes back and asked me to check the internet connection. As if by magic it was back up. this is unacceptable service. For as much as the customers pay for their internet service it should be so much better. we have been customers of ifiber for many years. We have a business account and have had several personal residential accounts. It just amazes me how they can screw over their customers. read more

I Love ifiber! When I signed up I was quoted 49.95 for my plan and was told that included taxes. I expected $15 in fees and was shocked when I got my first bill. It was 49.95! I have had nothing but great service not just with not having outages but customer service especially during covid. I'm disabled and am on social security and I called and spoke with Madison recently to check on my internet plan and make sure I was on the right program and plan and I can be long winded. She was so patient and helpful like all experiences I've had with ifiber. She took the time to listen and answer my questions and address my concerns. I don't want to sound like an ad for ifiber but the service I'm paying for is better than all other providers where I live and the customer service is the best I've had over the phone! Ifiber and Madison helped me not have to go through spectrum and pay all their fees! Thank you Madison and ifiber! Joshua read more

Wish I never signed up, poor, poor customer service, they never answer the phone, if they do they are plain rude at best. My bill went from 207.00 to 253.00 in 3 months. They had to charge more for the wonderful service. Now I just saw on my bill they are no longer going to be providing "ANY "TV service after June 6th. But they said I will still have internet and phone, I want the tv. I live where there alot of trees and they were the only game in town to get TV. So very pissed off. Oh and I still get to pat my yearly payment of 400.00 for paying for the hook up. read more

Great company, don't listen to the old reviews. Can't remember last time I've had internet problems. Highly recommend.

I fiber sucks . Supposed to be the fastest but I think they throttle your internet most not all the time. I have a top of the line router but yet never could seem to stream games or movies. I really wish frontier was in town. read more

The internet package is advertised as 100mbps download speed. According to speed tests I have never gotten past 70mbps down. Don't fall for their scams. Company clearly cannot service its customers. iFiber communications has thee WORST costumer service ever!!!! They never return phones calls, they argue with you and speak over you when they believe they are right. && Then the lady literally puts me on hold while I am trying to say something and tells her manager that I was using the F word?!?!!! I cannot believe these people??? Are you serious right now the lady wouldn't even let me speak how am I going to waste my breath on some cuss words when I can't even say what I was calling for?! The most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. On top of that they are charging me an installation fee... but they never came and installed anything! We went to Ephrata which is a 20 min drive and got all the equipment and did it ourselves.. why you ask because they were suppose to come and install it but nobody ever showed up. I am so disgusted with this company. read more

I had occasion to call IFiber technical support yesterday morning. I'm sorry that I don't remember the name of the technician I spoke with, but what a nice young man. So very helpful and pleasant. I have had IFiber for 4 years now (well in a couple months) and have not had one bad experience. Service is reliable enough that this was only my 2nd time to have to call for anything and my problems have been quickly solved. Thank you IFiber read more

Ifiber is great internet but the WORST customer service I have ever had. If I didn't sign up a year contract I would cancel!! The Newport office NEEDS to find someone that will actually show up to work, took me 2 months to finally get ahold of her!!!! read more

I have iFiber phone and internet service and have had for well over a year. For the past several months I have had a serious intermittent issue with the internet service. This causes the internet to drop from 5 to 10 times a day. I've called several times and nothing has been resolved. The last time I called, a technician did come out and performed some testing. He said the problem may be in the PUD gateway. The PUD sent a technician out the next day and he found that the problem was probably in the iFiber equipment. I have since placed several calls to iFiber and have still not received a call back. I consider this very poor customer service and at this point I would not recommend this service to anyone. Furthermore, iFiber does not provide any method that I can find of online reporting or tracking information. This means I need to explain the same problem in detail every time I call in. I have not seemed to get the same person twice, and there appears to be no extensive notes from my previous calls. This seems to be a marketing company with very little emphasis on customer support or satisfaction. I'll give it 2 stars because when it works correctly it is good service. read more

We went to great expense, including having our home rewired to accept iFiber service. We switched from Xfinity. Since this changeover, we have experienced many outages and weekly very poor quality TV. When I call tech support I'm told to power cycle the cable box. This ultimately works most of the time, BUT it takes the system 10 minutes to reboot! By this time a show is one third over. Frustrating! We also spent many hours talking with tech support trying to find out why we don't see gigibit internet service for our computer. At times the upload speed was below 10 mb per second. Most of the time we were seeing well below 100 mb/sec. A check just now gave this result: 68.22mbs down, 110 mbs up with latency of 102. (Speed of Me) I was then told that my 5 year old iMac was the problem. It has a gigibit Ethernet card so should be doing better than what I'm seeing. I cannot recommend iFiber to anyone in their system areas. read more

Actually the speed is great., the service is not ! Today being the opener for the NFL on the local channels we subscribe to, myself and my neighbors have be frustrated by "station blocked by provider. There is no one to relate to us what is going on here to correct the problem! Also we pay our bills via our Chase checking account every month on the 1st as soon as our bank account is funded by the US Government . Six days later we receive notice that we are being charged a late fee $15.00. We called iFiber and the manager was every bit as rude as these other posts indicated. Evidently iFiber is not set up to receive our payment online with Chase. Sooo, tough luck to you customers. We are bailing out of this service. Everyone in our 30 home subdivision is ready to call it quits as well and pull the plug on iFiber. Sincerely Bob A. Tahuya WA read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I've been dealing with the internet dropping for 3 weeks now. They never return phone calls and they never send a tech out. The "customer service" departments solution was to disconnect my internet "tomorrow" because I'm unhappy. Of course, managers, techs, etc. are "not available" every time I call. I do a live video show every weekend and we interview a range of best selling authors, film makers, etc. etc. When my connection drops during a show it taints our professional image. The internet cable is plugged into the computer (no WIFI). Everything was working great until about a month ago when we had a huge storm. I am going to switch to another provider first thing in the morning. read more

The internet they provided was speedy which was great however I changed my opinion of this company completely after experiencing terrible customer service. After my internet went out they gave me the run around, even the manager was rude. Eventually they came out (they wouldn't let me schedule an appointment but instead called me the minute at their convenience to come out) and charged me a $50 undisclosed travel fee and didn't even fix my internet service. I will never recommend this company due to the shady way they do business. I wish I could write a different review, but I wouldn't want anybody experiencing the helpless feeling I have encountered when dealing with this company. read more

We originally subscribed to I-fiber because it could offer us the local network T.V. channels when no-one else would. Our interests locally are more aligned with Spokane than Seattle and much to our to our surprise we have most of the Spokane channels here in the plateau country of Douglas Co., where weather related road conditions are important. Yes we have suffered signal weakness and other issues inherent of a small newer internet company but that seems to be a thing of the past. Service has always been fast with no interplay of uncaring personalities. Take another look. If you want an instant near perfect package, you should be able to duplicate what we now enjoy. After four years of bad customer care I finally am calling it quits! They are so freaking rude and unhelpful. The office manager is horrid and unwilling to work with customers 2 days late and paying the next day and still disconnected. I have asked about auto pay over the four years or online pay and all I hear is it's coming so if ur not one to mail checks in I recommend paying always two months in advance and outages have been more and more often no forgiveness on the bill and prices are 20 dollars higher then competitors. Just done with them all around read more

Before you read this, I'm not some customer who doesn't know how to work a computer properly. I do all of the possible self troubleshooting before contacting my ISP to replace cables or fix a problem that I can't fix myself. The only other people I have been treated this badly by is T-Mobile before they got a new CEO and redid their entire customer service department. I have been without internet for 2 weeks while they try to work on a solution and they're telling me it's going to be another week and a half until they can come out here. Oh, and guess when the internet went out? Right in the middle of finals week!! They don't care that I'm paying 50 dollars for a service they're not giving me, they don't care that the main reason I am paying for home internet is so I can get my homework done AT HOME and I was stuck going to Starbucks to do my finals. They won't give me a refund and they don't care about getting anybody out here to fix their service. I have been hung up on several times, I have been on 30 minute holds while they "check their schedule," who takes a half hour to check a schedule? When the internet works, it works great, I was consistently getting above 90Mb/s but this past 2 weeks of nothing has shattered any positive feeling I had about fast internet speeds. If you're okay with possibly giving away an entire month of service that was paid for, go with iFiber but if you want to actually have the internet connection you paid for, look elsewhere.... I just can't believe how terrible their customer service is, it is honestly surprisingly bad, and after dealing with T-Mobile I'm not usually surprised by bad customer service anymore but this is really bad. UPDATE: I am moving and my internet is supposed to be turned off at the end of the month when I leave. Now they are telling me that they either need to turn it off early or charge us extra because they are not going to be in their office until the second of September. So I am having to pay extra for time that I am not going to use, just because they are not going to be in their office. Oh yeah, and my connection was never fixed, nobody ever came out to the apartment to fix their installation and I have had an ethernet cable going from the router, out through a window that I have had to leave open now for almost a month, around the apartment building and to the fiber box outside because their incompetent employees will not come out and fix their faulty installation. I have NEVER been treated like this from any company. This has been a very frustrating month trying to deal with them and they are making this move half way across the state that much worse. The employees (Anthony, Bobby, and Cassy) are rude, the manager is even worse, and I sincerely hope that this review can keep someone from signing up for their "services." read more

it used to be good but for this past year years it goes out often and when its not out we get like 5mbps and even after we upgraded to 100mbps we got maybe 60mbps for like 3 months then it went back down and they came over and just said "yea your router is the problem" so we brought a new router and its still bad its just ifiber is scam that advertise the amount you should get and you dont get near what they say read more

I have had this service for a few months, with a few problems. A tech (5 stars for him) came out and tested my line and said that everything was fine. He was very professional, but I continue to have issues. Called customer service and they advised me that it wasn't their equipment or lines that it was my router, so I went and had it replaced. I continue to have issues with my internet going in and out throughout the day. I work from home and depend on my service to keep in contact with my clients - today the internet went out with no notice. When I called customer service they stated that it was down for maintenance in the middle of the day and it would only be done for 5 minutes. 30 Minutes later it came back on. Problem is...I had no warning that they were shutting it down and lost all my work that I had been working on. He didn't even apologize when I called - the tech was extremely rude. I am so unhappy with this service, WHEN it works it is great. But it is extremely spotty. And they say it is my equipment...well my "equipment" is brand new. New router - check (and replaced) New computer - check Multiple computers having issues - check, check, check and check (yeah that would be 3 computers/devices having connection issues and yet they say it is MY one computer causing the issues) If I could I would get rid of this service but they are the only internet provider in the area. read more

I've had this service for about a month now and almost everyday my service goes out. Then I have to reboot my router and hope that it will turn back on. I hate that I'm paying for internet that I can't even use. They are not open weekend and I work mon-fri so I find it impossible to get ahold of them. I have left messages for the on call emergency outage technicians but never got a call back. I'm so frustrated with their service and I'm looking into replacing it. I wouldn't have gotten IFiber if I read these reviews first. Hopefully this helps someone make a better decision. read more
