BEWARE !! Alfonso and Raymond lack proper customer skills and accountability. If I could rate 0 stars I would EXPEDITIOUSLY
We signed a quoted price to which was doubled upon completion of packing. Initially, they were scheduled to come between 7:30-8:30 am to which they arrived at 9:36am. Next, Alfonso gave me this new price (which we didn't agree on) of $5,101 for the walkthrough. It took almost an hour for them to start because we had to get in contact with his boss Raymond who said that they were going to honor the original price . Which they of course did not! After the call, it wasn't until 11am and that they started. They had me reserve the elevator and prop the door open from the very begining 9:40 am all the way until 7:37pm and they didn't even use the elevator until they finished boxing everything so 8pm ( at which time they mentioned the elevator door was closed) but of course the apartment management would close the elevator hold because it been a whole work day where it was blocked off???
Alfonso then gave me the new quotes price for 500 cubic square feet when originally it was for 300 cubic square feet. To be clear, they did NOT move/ship any furniture only packed pictures, dishes, clothes, 3 TV's and 2 mattresses and a box spring. To be specific, EVERYTHING was laid out for them since the day before (the original moving date) and a lot of things were bagged up so all they had to do was build the box and place them in there. A one bed apartment took them EIGHT HOURS (and they had jobs to do afterwards that they didn't make after leaving my place at 8:30pm) mind you it was 2 movers and I helped them the ENTIRE time til i literally couldn't. I've had plenty of movers including movers who have moved me across the country that 1) didn't take 8 hours 2) allowed me to ship me liquids 3) didn't lie about price 3) taken accountability when and if necessary. In the end when it came to pay the new total came out to above $4,000!!! To just move clothes, pictures, tv's and mattresses. The the insurance form that needed to be filled was never filled out properly and even two days later when he said he was email it to me filled out, it STILL wasn't filled out. Alfonso tried to make it seem like the price was justified because they were there for 8 hours (which has nothing to with anything especially because the move isn't hourly)... I have moved my entire apartment before with 3 movers in 4-5 hours that including a queen sized bed set (mattress, dresser, nightstand) , a large sectional couch, clothes, tv's and pictures and that cost $4,000 REASONABLE!!.
If they say your move comes with boxes beware they up charge 5x the price vs you buying them at the store or uhaul which is what i was going to do but they assured me it would be included for an additional $400 but what was it in the end $949 (so yea you see the lies keep coming and they don't stand by anything.
Other notes, they broke my dish ware (alfonso) when packing and left their snack trash in my sink (alfonso and johnny!) If it wasn't for Johnny doing majority of the work they would still be here. Alfonso did more talking than packing. He kept trying to check Johnny but he was doing everything he needed to by himself. ME and JOHNNY did majority of the work SERIOUSLY. Alfonso took numerous breaks without johnny (the hardworker) and used my bathroom and left pee stains on the toilet! Johnny didn't use the restroom ONCE.
It absolutely makes no sense that it took them that long and no sense that it cost that much. I was able to wash and dry 3 weeks of clothes during their time at my apartment
Strongly advise against this company the are true scammers and lack so much accountability. read more
