Unfortunately, we've had to hire more experienced electricians to correct several Crimson Power wiring mistakes discovered during subsequent renovations. While the incorrect installations were completed by less experienced employees of Crismson Power, we would hope that Cameron has been able to upgrade his team with more experienced electricians with professional attention to details required for wiring safety and reliability.

When I called to see what happened was told there was an availability issue on a camera, they apologized and offered a discount in exchange for sticking with them and rescheduling July 2nd. I agreed. Now Logan called to cancel saying that the tracking for the camera showed eta of July 13th for a July 17th install. I asked for tracking before agreeing to a 3rd reschedule. After avoiding the question multiple times then refusing to provide parts tracking, Logan lost his cool and then hung up on me. I called back and said, ok fine, let's keep the July 2nd for the rest of the job and parts but just cancel the camera. He refused again and refused my business and hung up on me a 2nd time after I then asked to speak with the owner. I called back and spoke with Bob asking for the owner's contact info. in hopes of sharing my situation face to face and trying to keep my July 2nd install for the rest of the project. Again, refused. So, for the first time in my life I am posting a one star review warning the next guy that these guys are not what they say they are. Good with locks but nothing else. Actions don't match promises.

In an odd sort of way, it turned out my first choice wasn't my best choice!…read more I came across the listing and thought "OK - it's a little corny name, 'Those Tech Guys'" but honestly, if you hang around tech guys at all, you get it. I am far from a professional when it comes to IT installations, but I know enough to be dangerous. And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!

We had these guys out for a fairly straightforward job by their standards--we needed to hide some…read morewires, tuck away a couple components, and set up the TV sound to come through some additional speakers for added volume. They showed up right on time and got right to work. They did everything quickly and pleasantly and exactly as asked; they even figured out stuff that I wouldn't have been able to explain--even though all the equipment was already here, it wasn't stuff they sold. They upgraded our blown speakers and left everything in perfect shape, nice and clean. We couldn't be happier with the work.
