Feed corn loaded with live bugs. Must bring your own garbage bags to contain bugs. Or spend hours cleaning your car.

He is extremely knowledgable on every plant in his shop, and ensures you know the exact needs of each plant you purchase. If you purchase a pot and a plant, he also offers a free potting service! I recommend Moss and Timber over any other Plant shop in Southern Utah. The fantastic customer service, unparalleled knowledge, and beautiful, healthy plants are the reasons I keep coming back. You have to check it out!

I've actually never met anyone behind the counter of a plant shop who was as aggressive or terse as this guy lol it's almost comical. I had bought a decent amount of plants from here about a year ago and they were doing great so I decided to stop in and get them repotted. I asked the man at the front desk how the repotting works and he was very condescending, short and sassy. I understand having a personality but when I asked "if I bought the plant here is there still a repotting fee" he said "congratulations on buying the plant here and supporting local" in the rudest way possible. I have no issue paying a repotting fee I was just asking for clarification and he decided that was the perfect time to be rude lol it was the weirdest thing. When I said I was taken aback by his attitude he continued to escalate. Anyway, you can easily just buy plants elsewhere and skip the condescending man who works here and owns the shop.

Star Nursery -- For over ten years I have bought plants for many many landscaping projects. In the…read morepast I have been pleased with customer service. But Star Nursery -- what has happened ????? Today I was in search of ten gallon shasta daisies -- about ten for landscaping a cabin. I walked into the outdoor yard at Dixie -- saw several employees - but went from one to another and no one knew anything about shasta daisies. One young lady took me to a man that didn't speak much english but was talking VERY loud to himself in Spanish (I assume earphones plugged to his phone). He only pointed to an area. I finally found on my own 8 - 4" pots that desperately needed attention. Took them to cashier -- asked her about gallon size - she said - "I don't think we have any" I asked if she had an inventory and could check -- "Yah - I guess I could but it wouldn't be accurate and a waste of time" Not once did anyone offer to help - not any eye contact was made - and not one smile in greeting. I am disappointed in our local nursery -- this is not the first experience like this lately. Do the owners know ??? Do they care or does it matter since they are the only gig in town? It's way worth it to me now - to drive the extra milage to go to Cedar City and enjoy a nursery that appreciates business coming in the door.

She acts like we are idiots, and she is so superior when is comes to pet knowledge. If you are going to be a business owner, learn some customer service skills. We had finally makes a decision on what we were going to purchase, and we're planning on going back today. After the experience we had, we will never go to her store again. We will make sure everyone we know will not go there as well. My kids were not running around like crazy. They are not those kind of kids. My son ( who is a fairly calm 9 year old ) was playing with the rabbit- who seemed to enjoy the attention. You could have simply told my son it could scare the birds- instead of sharply saying " I'm going to have you stop. It gets enough exercise during the day". I would stop my kids from being crazy- if that was actually the case. The other time- you started to set a bird on my daughter shoulder- without warning and she flinched out of reaction. You told her she isn't ready for a bird. You completely broke her heart. As you have seen, my daughter has been very interested in a bird and has tried asking you a lot of questions. Honestly very disappointed in your people skills. Also, you do not try to educate. You talk to them like they are beneath you. From an online source: "Some people don't realise just how much exercise rabbits need. They should not be kept in their hutch all day long without any form of exercise. A lack of exercise can lead to serious health problems such as obesity, poor bone and muscle density and urinary infections." www.timeforpaws.co.uk ' owning-y...
