I will start by saying that when my oven caught on fire without cause, not only did they not provide me any place to live until I took them to City Hall where they explained how the city works to them and they were forced to...they also blamed me for the fire when that oven model in particular, I learned later, is prone to catching on fire. I lived in an old building in WeHo managed by them and I am quite sure no one has cared to redo the wiring. The owners of the property refused to talk to me when this happened and only spoke through Danco, not even showing up to the hearings at city hall. On the plus side. Maintenance is very present and quick to reply. The rate I got on my rent for the area was quite reasonable compared to what I heard. And one employee, Cecilia I believe, is quite nice. Do not deal with Brenda if you can avoid it, she is new and already has a bit of a reputation for her snarkiness among the neighbors. Just saying. However, throughout my stay, unvouched complaints made anonymously by neighbors about my ESA dogs barking basically in the end forced me out of my place, as their claims - though unproven - were enough for Danco to send an eviction threat via email, mail, and posting it on my door for everyone else to see, just in case I wasn't stressed out enough. ESAs are for disabilities by the way. Dont expect any accommodations for those here just saying. I am not sure if I will follow up with that legally at this point. To summarize. I know no less than 4 people myself included who vacated this property within my less than 1 year stay there, and there were I believe only 16 units total. I cannot prove this is due to rent control but overall in LA, landlords will make your life miserable enough that you forget your rights and just leave. That was the case here. And to the Business Manager...kindly leave me alone and don't reply to this post. I left due to harassment and I meant it.

It was a hard sell to someone who had managed his own buildings for 50 years, but Daniel made the change easy for him and easy all around. He helped bring the apartments up to market rate with suggesting improvements so that we could maximize the potential. He found us good tenants who stayed. He also gave me piece of mind when handing over the reins of two buildings that they would be run as close to how my dad had run them for years. He is trustworthy, collaborative, fiscally minded and when the time came to sell the properties he was able to broker us a great deal with minimal stress. ALthough our time with him is done, I can whole heartedly recommend his Building Management company. They managed our two West LA Buildings for approx 5 years partially through Covid and helped with the handover to new owners. Can't say enough good things.

Meaning I now have to submit more work orders and schedule more appointments to fix the cheap lousy "repairs" your team does. It's not worth the trouble.
