I booked this service Friday afternoon for a driver to take my car and me back from a party Saturday night. A driver was assigned, I was told his name then received a text from him(Raheel was my driver) I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with this service from booking to my dtiver. Raheel was professional, polite and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I received a safe ride home and my car was in my driveway for me to use in the morning. No bothering anyone to drive me to get my car. I WILL DEFINITELY be using this dependable service again! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up for an account and was told I would have a driver for my elderly parents. Almost a week later, when I tried to edit a pickup time and all the site did was spin, I got on the chat. I was told "we were going to reach out to you today, we are sorry, we don't have a driver". This was Saturday, noon time, and the pick up was for Monday morning. I was very clearly told I had a driver and booked several trips with them that I now have to cancel and figure something else out last minute. totally unimpressed. I am so unbelievably upset it is beyond description. read more

Two good trips and then a very ugly experience. on the outgoing trip They dispatched the driver to my home address instead of where I was staying (I have confirmation e-mail proving it was their error). I had left extra time so I still made the flight. 40 minute extra delay. I e-mailed them emphasizing they should not mess up the return. They apologized and assured me. Return: When car pickup was due occupant at pickup locations noticed - no driver. After some difficulty contacted iDriveyourcar. He said there was "confusion" with the driver. An obvious lie since in retrospect there was no e-mail received with the driver contact information and name . They recovered by hiring another vendor to pick us up at the airport. The driver said he had just gotten an emergency call. We were lucky the car pickup was at an occupied location not at our home else it would have been a serious delay. read more

Awful Experience. Booked them early in the week for a pick up Friday morning. I'm informed Thursday afternoon they do not have a driver. I understand any business has a set amount of capacity, but then don't take the reservation. I'm a long-term customer that uses the service about once a month. Excellent service! As everybody said the emails were answered promptly the price is good, etc. Our driver was Ivan, I can't tell how he drives because my husband drove both ways (yes, I know...). But I can say he was very punctual, he did keep in touch with us and helped with luggage. He speaks English and Spanish. He is well informed about current news and he knows about history, etc. BUT he talked TOO MUCH!!! He does not stop! :( That plus jet lag is not a good formula. read more

Exceptionally satisfied with this service. We hired them to drive us (in our car) from our home in Westchester to JFK, and then to reverse that process a week later. All our interactions with the office were straightforward and pleasant. Execution was seamless. First driver arrived early to our home, and was helpful and pleasant getting us to the airport. Second driver arrived on time to JFK very late at night on a holiday, dealt with a (typical) nightmare of an arriving-flights area with two sold-out flights piling out of baggage claim at once, and got us home smoothly thereafter. This driver was also courteous and efficient. At least for the itinerary we used, we found the value proposition to be excellent. Fairly to compare to a livery service, you need to add back the cost of gas and some wear-and-tear rate on your car, but even so the discount versus a livery car service is significant. You also get to be in your car, which is good for two reasons: often more comfortable, and always the right amount of space for the job. (We had a lot of baggage on this trip, and when we travel that way, we have had bad experiences with livery car services sending a Town Car or compact SUV without enough capacity, despite our contrary request.) read more

Got multiple emails over the past week confirming the trip but now, the night before the trip, they email saying that they can't get a driver and I should get an Uber. Just used the service for the very first time and was absolutely delighted with the experience - Ivan (my driver) called me earlier in the day concerned about my pickup time because it was raining and to suggest a better time and I can honestly say he treated my car as if it was his own. When I forgot to take out my briefcase at the terminal he came right back without any hassle and then was there and waiting for me on my return trip - absolutely fantastic service from the inquiry stage,to the email reminders about who would pick me up and the personal calls from the driver, I was very very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to use a different kind of service for getting to and from the airport read more

I made a reservation to be driven for an evening out with my wife. We had show tickets and dinner reservations. idriveyourcar called 35 minutes before the pick up time and canceled the reservation (they said they could not find a driver). I would never use this service if I needed to be somewhere time sensitive (like an airport, work or a show where they make you wait outside if you are late to the performance). If you are ok walking and this is a luxury, maybe it works or maybe you will get some exercise... which is not bad. read more

I used Idriveyourcar.com a year ago when I was going on vacation. I told the scheduler that my car was a manual transmission and to be sure that my driver was experienced with a stick. Well, my driver arrived on time, but he hadn't driven a manual transmission for over 20 years. I had to sit in my car and experience him stalling out, grinding the gears and not shifting when he should have. I wanted to tell him to move over and let me drive! I was very worried about him getting my car safely home and then back to get me a week later. After the trip I never received any bills or calculations of the costs, just 2 charges on my credit card, which were higher than I anticipated. The total was only a little less than what I would have paid for a car service and had I used a car service I wouldn't have worried about my car and who would pay for an accident if this man had one- ME!!
