Diane & I needed car service to JFK for a trip down south! We spoke with Dan & Carlos - they handled the entire process for us...at a very affordable costs. Their drivers were exceptional! On time, polite, made suggestions and got us to the airport on time...no stress! Their car was clean, well maintained - they even had cold bottled water for us! Personal or professional - I would highly recommend Green Light - its nice to do business with nice people and a very nice company! Best wishes! read more

There has not been one time, where these gentlemen have not been on time, either picking me up from home or from the airport, or wherever else I may be traveling to. They are always very courteous great drivers and a pleasure to work with. The Company Gives you 24 hours notice about pickup and, will let you know who your driver is. Carlos and his team are wonderful. read more

For Business travel to the airport, AWFUL! I'll cut to the chase. A Toyota Highlander?!?! Are you kidding me?!?? The smell of carpet cleaner gave me a headache. He probably used too much to cover us the family-truckster smell. This POS creaked and squeaked. The cheap plastic rubbed at every bump. The window next to my head had a bad seal. The driver was nice, but to use the term "limo" was a joke! read more

Twice since my experience last year I have used Green Light to travel to the airport. Both times, the experience was great. On time, courteous & careful drivers. They were even able to provide a car seat both times for my grandson. Would use again. read more

Our family has used Green Light Limousine Service for over 10 years for airport trips and special family events. This past weekend they chauffeured my son's rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Dawn helped me work out the arrangements for both events, and I am so appreciative of her expertise. Could not have done it without her. Steve, the 55 seat hotel to rehearsal dinner (and back) driver and Elvis, wedding day driver were extremely professional and so personable to everyone. I received many compliments from family and friends about both of them and cannot be happier. From airport runs to family functions, i highly recommend Green Light and in fact have done so for years. You have a fantastic staff Daniel and Carlos. Thanks again for help making this event even more special. read more

I'm a big fan of these folks & have been using them for over 5 years now. They are always & I repeat always early for a pickup as I've never once had to wait, the reliability is very impressive. You pay for the service so don't expect a bargain price but with their couteous & friendly drivers well worth the extra dollars! read more

Good company I guess. When requesting a booking, I requested a certain model car to have and the total opposite arrived. Do they care?! Oh absolutely not...The owner jumped to me wanting to get a discount right way and that was not even why I called. I called to make the complaint know to them. True hustlers at their best.... read more

This past week I used Green Light Limousine Service to transport 8 people round trip from Darien to LGA. We had a fantastic experience both ways. The drivers were on time, friendly, courteous, and professional. The vehicles were immaculate and very comfortable. And the cost was reasonable. All in all we had a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. read more

Rude people I didn't read any reviews I just called to book for wedding Customer service is bad really bad Be carful they disrespect you right over the phone I thought it maybe just one person and than I spoke to another person complaining about the first person the second person was as rude like I owe them something be aware Thank god I didn't give them my business read more

Same issue NEWS8 reported before. Arrived 1 hour late which means 30 kids were 1 hour late for prom. When called to ask where bus was, the dispatch lady was extremely rude, told me not to call, asked me what I wanted her to do about it. What I want? I want to know why the bus I wanted to arrive at 5:30pm doesn't arrive to 637pm. I want to know where it is, what the problem is, I want to know more than "a few minutes" every 20minutes, accurate arrival time and what compensation for these kids missing their Prom. And "new driver" is no excuse for 67 minutes late! read more

My husband and I used Green Light for our wedding guests in May 26, 2018. We needed a shuttle that could fit at least 55 guests, completing multiple trips from the hotel to our wedding venue. I called and spoke to Manny. He was friendly and gave us all options and price quotes. My husband was able to finalize everything with pricing, routes and schedules. Everyone made it back and forth safely. There were no complaints. read more

Excellent service on our Wedding Day on May 27, 2017! Our driver, Elizabeth, was lovely and very accommodating to our needs. Our Party bus was the perfect choice for our large Bridal Party and our bridesmaids and groomsmen loved how clean and spacious it was. Thank you!! read more

This is a very good limousine company, they honor their good reputation and reliable service in each and every trip, It is a pleasure to do Business with them in the Danbury Area. read more

If you are searching for a good, reputable limousine company -- keep looking! I booked Green Light Limos over a year ago in preparation for my daughter's wedding on 9/23/17. I booked 2 limos -- as well as a large shuttle bus to make two trips each way to ferry guests to and from the hotel to the reception. All in all, a sizable investment to ensure our important day ran smoothly. Thanks to Green Light Limos, it did not. The limo sent to Shelton CT to pick up the groom and groomsmen pulled into the driveway and broke down. A substitute "vehicle" was sent in its place - not a limo, some type of black bus with faulty air conditioning and a rude, inappropriate driver. The groomsmen arrived to the church almost an hour late, which of course delayed the wedding service and threw the entire day off schedule - not to mention the stress involved with having the bridal party unable to get to the church. I called the Monday after the wedding to discuss what happened and my complaints fell on deaf ears. I was told numerous times that an owner or manager would be contacting me -- to date, not one call. Dawn who works in the office is very sweet and her last words to me were, "Let me take care of this for you." When was that? THREE MONTHS AGO. No contact, no return phone calls ......but they were certainly quick to charge my credit card for a substandard vehicle. Steer clear of this company. read more

We hired Green Light Limo to take my daughter and her bridesmaids from New Fairfield into NYC for a bachelotte party after her wedding shower on May 14th. The driver arrived close to schedule but a little late because he had initially gone to the wrong address across town. The limo was clean but was pretty beat up. It had the logo of another limo company in bold letters across the back window. (it appeared to me that Green Light had farmed the job out) The driver was very curteous but dressed in jeans. I admit we were hoping for a little of the "wow" factor when the limo pulled up to the house to pick up the girls but were definately disappointed. I'm sure Green Light is fine for getting from point A to point B but I can't recommend them if you're looking to impress. read more

We rented the 36 passenger bus for our wedding in June & it was a huge hit! It was spacious and brand new! Their manager, Lew was extremely helpful and always stayed in contact with me whether it be email or via phone. The only minor issue we encountered was that the driver was a little confused as to how many shuttles we were providing between the hotel and the venue. In the end, everyone got home and in due time. I'd recommend them! read more

I gave them a seldom used credit card. Within 48 hours, I had several unauthorized charges from Europe. I can't conclusively say it was Greenlight but the timing was suspicious. To make matters worse, they piled on surprise charges (on the new credit card) for things like "off hours pickup" that they did not tell me about in the quote. Life is too short to use this car service. read more

Absolutely terrible! Surprised Green Light Limo is still in business the way they treat their customers. My sister booked them for her wedding last August and they cancelled on us the day of the wedding just 2 hours prior to their scheduled guest pick up times. We were amazingly lucky, however suffered from undue wedding day of stress trying to find a last minute bus and limo driver - which we did! Phew. And the replacement company traveled much further to reach us then Green LIght Limo would have had to travel. I highly recommend bringing your money and business to another company even if you have to pay a little more. It is worth it. read more

After a long day traveling the driver from Greenlight limo wasn't at the airport upon our arrival. When I called and asked why the driver wasn't there the dispatcher was very rude. I've been a frequent user of limo service all over the world and never had this experience. read more

Green light limousine has very polite respectful drivers, but the office staff on the other hand especially the owner Daniel is a whole other story. They charge you a lot of money for tolls if your traveling to the airport, meanwhile I see the drivers using an E-Z pass. A friend of mine used them for a trip and was charged an okay amount, but when I called and wanted to get a price quote for basically the same route, the owner "Daniel" tried charging me a lot more just because he noticed I was from Ridgefield, a more wealthy community. I will never use this money stealing company again. read more

Sam was wonderful! He did a fabulous job of maneuvering that giant bus through the snow-filled driveways to pick everyone up safely. Bus was very clean and a lot of fun to ride in. Made our family event even better! read more

My husband & I recently used Green Light Limo to transport our wedding party from our ceremony to a photo location and then to the reception. We used their small party bus and could not have been happier with everything! Our driver, Gonzalo ("G") was great. The bus looked fantastic and everyone was pleased. The bus arrived on time and the communication regarding payments, etc with the office was easy and smooth. We would definitely use their service again and I'm disappointed at some of the nasty reviews I've read on here because our experience was wonderful! read more

First time using this company for airport transportation and I will again. Driver was waiting on time, professional, and got me home quickly. Very easy to book online. read more

I regularly receive solicitations from Green Light Limousine Service and laugh that they would think I would ever use them again. They are among the most unprofessional, unethical and rudest office staff I have ever dealt with. They overcharged me for an airport trip and refused to interact with me, much less refund me. Very short sighted. I would recommend you run away from them and find another service. read more

If you are in the Danbury area and looking for car service look elsewhere, DO NOT use this company ...., absolutely terrible ! I am a frequent business traveller so I know a little about the car service business, simply put this is by far the WORST car service I have ever used and dealt with in my 30 years as a business traveller. I have used this company twice, both times the driver was more than 10 minutes late (unacceptable). My first experience was in March '13, my driver was clueless as to get around traffic ..., he said he only knew "one" way to get to JFK and I had to give him directions as to how to get around traffic (this is a professional company ?). I decided to give them one more try, my most recent trip in April '13 was even worse, my trip started with my driver being 23 minutes late as he admitted to me that he overslept. I explained to him that I had still plenty of time to make my flight. This driver got on to the highway and was an absolute lunatic driving at more then 75mph and weaving in and out of traffic while on several occasions narrowly sideswiping other motorists ..., I had to tell the driver to slow down and drive safely ..., his reply was and I quote " Sir this is how you drive in NY, don't tell me how to do my job because I don't tell you how to do yours", CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT ?????? This company is a joke, how they have customers is beyond me. I found another company located in Danbury and have now used them 6 times between May & June, what a huge difference in comparison, great drivers that show up "early", know how to avoid traffic using alternative routes when needed, drive safely and without worry, and the girl I make my reservations with is a pleasure to deal with. I hope anyone looking for reliable & safe car service will look elsewhere then Green Light, there is more than one car service company in Danbury ...., DO NOT use Green Light ! Oh and lastly I'm convinced that the one or two positive reviews listed below are fictitious or probably a friend or relative of the owner. Take it from a guy like me who has over 30 years experience as a business traveller who has used hundreds of car service companies throughout the United States. Green Light is by far the worst company I have ever used, they need to rename themselves "RED LIGHT CAR SERVICE" read more

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with this company. I rented the party bus for my wedding day because I wanted my parents and bridal party to have a comfortable and spacious ride as that the reception hall was an hour away. Along the way, the driver took a ridiculous route and ended up getting lost. My dad had to direct her most of the way and we ended up being in the limo for 2 hours. As a result, we had to rush through wedding pictures so that we would not miss the wedding. The company tried to make me pay for this "additional" hour. On top of this, the air conditioning broke and my bridal party was very uncomfortable. Hair and make up were ruined. When I contacted the company for a refund, they informed me that I would be reimbursed for the additional hour I paid for. I thought I was getting money back, but little did I know, they were planning to charge me for another hour for the driver's mistakes. Apparently, they make their money by getting lost and charging additional time. I strongly do NOT recommend and I was very disappointed in how we were treated. read more

I contracted with Green Light Limousine Service months ago to provide three vehicles to transport members of my daughter's wedding party to and from the church and reception. Three days prior to the wedding I called to change the pick-up time to a half hour earlier and I was told they are always early to arrive for pick-up. Two of the vehicles were one half hour late and thus stressed out the passengers for those cars. The third vehicle never showed up to pick up the bride and her father, therefore leaving the two of them to get to the church on their own. At no time did we receive a phone call to say they were running late. To say the least, everyone was so stressed out. Once the limo showed up at the church for the bride, she was told by the driver, it was his day off and they called him in to make the run. I spoke with the representative at the company, Carlos to see what compensation would be made. It was less than satifactory. What kind of business is this that operates so poorly and risks the satisfaction of a client on the most important day of their life? I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

I wish I had read some of the reviews before booking my bachelorette dinner reservations with this company. While the driver was there on time for the pick-up he never bothered to get out of the car and open the door for us! The air conditioner in the car was not working well and it was a warm ride to our destination. Here is the best part, the driver NEVER showed to pick us up!!!! Called multiple times and all I got was "we are trying to reach the driver, we will call you back" from the dispatch. They NEVER called me back and finally after being over an hour and 45 minutes late, I called them back to say I had made alternate arrangements, they said "we could have a driver on the way" FORGET IT!!! When I called Monday morning to express my dissatisfaction and demand a refund, I was told from whom ever answered the phone "Oh, I just got back from vacation, let me check with dispatch and get back to you". After all that can you believe NOBODY even called to apologize. I got an email refunding my money...as they should... they left me and my bridesmaids stranded!! Glad I used them for the dinner now I know they wont be getting booked for my wedding!! read more
