I found PhoneZone and gave them a call. He gave me a very reasonable price over the phone to fix my Samsung Galaxy screen so I told him I was on my way!! Dropped off my phone and he was done within a couple of hours. He honored the price over the phone and suggested that I get a screen protector, which I gladly purchased along with the repair. Picked up my phone and it looked brand new and works great! Very nice guy, affordable prices, clean store, and a sofa you can sit and wait if needed. He also has accessories for sale if you need additional protection for your phone...for people like me. So i did not hesitate to call him again for the back glass of my iPhone 13 pro Well Tom came over and sat in his van and fixed my iPhone 13 pro or at least I thought so. I came inside and not 10 minutes later my front screen was popping off of the phone. I messaged and told him about this, and he responded back with telling me that because they had to remove the clips to remove the back the front clips might be lose well it was more than that the LCD screen was off and on even when it was just sitting there on the table. I messaged again that morning asking if someone could come and look at my phone because I cannot send him a screenshot of the damage obviously and he blew me off for about a week. Finally, he had someone named Ian come out to look at the front screen and Ian told me that the clips on the front were,gone so I got my iPhone 13 pro fixed the back glass was broken on it nut nothing was wrong with the front of the glass at all. After booking an appointment someone who has an issue with their work you are no longer important because they won't come back and fix it unless they charge you again and again they don't even give you a discount I learned a lesson to never do business with someone who is not apple certified yeah he charges 100 dollars to fix your phone however it takes him all of 3 minutes to do it and it'll be broken again in less than a month so if you just bite the bullet and go to an apple certified place and pay maybe 200 your phone will still be eligible for trade in and it won't break permanently in a money or less i mean if you want to throw the phone away let him fix it or if you think because someone knows something you don't you can watch a YouTube video and learn how to do it just as easily and not give your money to this greedy man he is hands down a crook i promise you the biggest crook!!! Very disappointed with the poor customer service after business receives payment (battery…read morereplacement iPhone and charging port repair) The owner was quick to schedule my battery replacement (15 min after our call he arrived to my home) and completed the repair. HOWEVER the next day, I noticed major issues with the "supposedly" new and "supposedly" OEM battery as it overheated while charging and then discharged very quickly (90% down to 20% in about 3 hours). A new battery shouldn't discharge that quickly and my phone displays "Unverified" on the battery health & charging indicator under battery settings which is clearly a red flag. Called him to resolve and he said that he gets parts from Mobile Sentrix which I noticed it has reviews stating that this wholesaler distributes defective parts (that explains my battery issues). The business owner tried to reassure me that the battery is not defective and that I can buy another one that he will install free of cost (this should've been stated BEFORE the repair, why should I pay for 2 batteries??) We set up an appointment for next day which he ended up rescheduling 5 minutes before our meeting!! (very unprofessional and inconsiderate) and spoke to me with a hostile attitude because I wanted him to honor our appointment. He gave me an ultimatum of "do you want the appointment tomorrow or not?" No apology or "customer satisfaction is paramount" applied here. Part of the problem with his service is that he prefers you pay him via cash, Zelle, etc and unfortunately in the event of an issue you don't get credit card protection. He charges more for credit card (hindsight should've protected myself). I entrusted this business based on the high rating and unfortunately his level of service drastically changed as soon as he received my Zelle payment. Overall this was a frustrating and costly mistake. The business states repeatedly that "Customer satisfaction is paramount" and my experience was that this principle ONLY applies up to the point of payment. The business needs to put more effort into ensuring the SAME level of service and customer satisfaction before and after payment (including cash payment). We agreed to another battery replacement the following week and he decided to block communication my number and not resolve the issue. The business took my money and refused to ensure customer satisfaction, I'm very disappointed and do not recommend this service whatsoever. Here are 6 of the issues I discussed with the business owner (in person) prior to him deciding to block my number and claim that my behavior is not customer "standard": 1. After the business received my nonrefundable payment, I was trying to schedule a resolution to the potential defective battery problem, however the owner spoke to me in a hostile and aggressive manner which CLEARLY demonstrates that customer satisfaction is not the top priority 2. I requested an apology and he did so (why didn't the owner take the initiative beforehand to apologize?) 3. The owner suggested I drive to him for the battery resolution which was unbelievable considering that the business model and expected level of service is that the tech always drives to the customer 5. Told the owner that excellent customer service would be to ask the customer what can we do to make this better? Explore options instead of your way or the highway. Blocking my number and refusing to resolve my battery issue is very unprofessional and completely contradicts your slogan of "customer service is paramount". 6. Based on the high rating I trusted this business and chose to pay cash which unfortunately doesn't provide any protection options in the event of any issues. I will not repeat that mistake.

They were very knowledgable and professional on the phone. Understood my issue right away, and gave me detailed options for the probable fixes, with pricing for those options. In person, the same professionalism; the easiest option proved to be the solution, stuck to the pricing quoted over the phone & turnaround was faster than they estimated. Would recommend these guys to my friends and family; even my dad, the consummate sceptic. To show they don't try to up-sell: When I got to the shop, an senior aged man was asking one of the techs about a crack in his screen, that he was convinced was in the actual screen. He was concerned some water would get in. The tech examined the phone, realized it was just the protective screen, and had to almost talk the man into the idea that his phone was fine. The tech even walked him through the process of replacing the protector. Solid shop!

A couple hours later, the Store Manager called to say "unfortunately" she damaged my iPad touch screen, so instead of the original $200 cost, now I would have to pay $435 to have the screen SHE damaged fixed. I was completely taken back that a business would force a customer to pay for damage they cause themselves. I asked for paperwork to show that she had caused the damage, and she not only refused to provide but also demanded that I pay $435 to get my iPad back. I had to literally call the police in order to get my iPad back and obtain a receipt that showed my iPad was in perfect condition when I first brought it in (see photos). I now have a $1300 iPad that is completely useless (there's no touch on the screen anymore) and has several metal scratches from the terrible job iRepairIt did in damaging the touch screen... I went back through the yelp reviews and noticed that many of the positive reviews are from yelp members that have no profile or activity! There's no way all these positive reviews are legit! This feels like a scam to get a quote from $200 then be forced to pay more than double to have my device scratched and damaged by their wrongdoing. Lesson learned: before taken your iphone/ipad to repair, verify if the repair shop is Apple certified at https://support.apple.com/repair/verify-repair-provider. iRepairIt is NOT Apple certified (see screenshot). A more appropriate name for this business is "iBreakIt".
