Stayed around the corner on a business trip. This place was within walking distance and open late. I arrived in the evening, and honestly... this place wasn't recommended. I googled and they had great reviews. The first night, the interaction seemed a bit forced, but the food was incredible. Second night, I went back and service was a lot better. Maybe it was a rough night the night prior. The food hit the spot again. I rarely eat at the same place twice, but I highly recommend it. I took my food to go both times since there's nowhere to eat but not an issue.

I liked IDK Philly! I got the chicken sandwich and thought it was pretty good. My friends also ordered the burger, so I tried some of it and thought it was solid too. Overall, the food is good, but I agree that it is pricey for what it is. The staff was very friendly and the wait for the food was not too long.

This is a hidden gem!! They are serving up some of the best smashed burgers in Philly. We got the Dracula and the chipotle aioli was soo good, & it has too cheesy beef patties. We also tried the single chix and the chicken was very juicy, paired with a crunchy creamy cold slaw. The fries were also seasoned well and crispy! Overall, worth the price. Also love the wall art here!

    Double Trouble smash burger

The waffle was the best waffle ever it melted in your mouth with a sweet sweet taste but it is definitely filled with sugar. Everything else was mid not enough flavor and not enough sauce. Tight place with not much room although their is a place to sit. Food came out in time and stayed warm good service.

Amazing chicken sandwich and tenders! Spicy was just right. Friendly staff, will definitely be going back

I got the double trouble burger & the pink lemonade soda duh!!

I cannot take these brioche buns... The taste ruins the experience and they fall apart. The fries??? don't even think about it.

Dracula Burger is 10/10. The patties had the perfect amount of crispiness and the seasoning.

I visited for lunch during Restaurant Week, which I enjoyed because of its close proximity to the corporate hub in Center City where I work and for its solid menu. I was seated quickly at a high-top for my noon reservation. The restaurant is much larger inside than it looks, split in half with the left providing an upscale bar aesthetic while the right presents a quieter, modern lounge feel. (It seemed like service staff was directing those with previously-booked OpenTable RSVPs to the lounge side.) Service was great, as my waitress continuously checked in during my meal even as more customers arrived throughout the lunch period. I appreciated being offered to add fries on my burger order, as Village Whiskey didn't have it automatically added on the RW menu. The only drawback was she forgot to ask how I wanted my burger cooked, but it came out medium rare which is the way I eat it regardless. I trust that's how they default, which is a good sign. The Food Breakdown: Deviled Eggs (4/5) - Classic, solid, and a good starter. I honestly selected it since the other appetizer options didn't really appeal to me, but nothing spectacular or negative about it. Four comes with each order. All-American Burger (5/5) - Fantastic. I'm not a pickle enjoyer, but the acidity just blended into each juicy bite. The jam had a slight kick, and you can taste the fattiness within the double Wagyu smash patties. High-quality all around and a solid portion size. Duck Fat Fries (4/5) - They were well-seasoned, and each order comes with a small side of ketchup. Granted I didn't ask, but I almost wish they offered a spicy mayo instead because it would complement the crunchiness better. Overall, the food quality and taste were superb. My only caveat was the price, knowing that $35 after tax and gratuity for lunch (without an additional drink) is costly. I wouldn't be able to come everyday, but it certainly has my vote for sharing with others the destination that has an immaculate burger.

NOT RECOMMENDED with the poor service and confusing bill..

Our serve apologized profusely and they gave us a sweet treat on the house at the end of our meal. I ordered the frittata which was delicious and my husband to the omelette . We also got the drop biscuits with strawberry rhubarb jam and omg am good! Our brunch was great and the interior was modern but felt homey and we had the best service and the manager also came to see things were going. So unholy for a Mac and cheese lover like myself... but it was too acidic for me. I couldn't keep eating it. So I'm basing this review solely on the food. The service seemed ok? A huge thank you to Zktlko (I hope I'm spelling that right) who went out of his way to make sure I got it back. That level of care is rare and meant so much in a stressful moment. And on top of that--the food is incredible. We had the hoagies, and they were hands down the best cheesesteaks we tried in the city. Amazing people, amazing food. Grateful we stopped here.

I ended up coming back here twice because the food was just so good! It was a chilly evening both nights. When I walked inside the restaurant, the team had greeted me and asked if it was my first time, which it was! You could order at the Kiosks inside the restaurant, or at the front register. There wasn't anyone ahead of me so I ended up looking over the menu first before ordering. Cleavers offers cheesesteaks, beef, chicken, or veggie. You can also get it in a roll, wrap or bowl. Some of their sandwiches include the following Papa's Favorite Steak The Cleaver Effin Hot Steak Zinger Steak Chicken Cheesesteak Hoagie BBQ Chicken Chicken Parm and so much more! If you're looking for alternatives to the sandwiches, Cleavers does offer salads, Fries, egg rolls, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, desserts and other options! I ended up getting the Cheesesteak Hoagie both nights, but tried different cheeses out. The first night I had the cheese whiz and the second evening I had the Cooper American cheese. I only had the steak and cheese on the seeded roll. I didn't wait long for my to go order, about 10 minutes. The walk back to the hotel was about 5 minutes, but the team at Cleavers wrapped my cheesesteak perfectly! It was still warm by the time I got back to the hotel. There is seating inside the restaurant though on the second level! Cleavers has my favorite cheesesteak. I enjoyed both the cheese whiz and the Cooper American cheese. The steak used was juicy and tender. The sandwich was huge! The Philly cheesesteak restaurants I go to in Vegas don't have seeded rolls, and you can tell the difference! The flavor was just so amazing! If you're local to Philly and craving cheesesteaks, I highly recommend going to Cleavers! The team members are great at the restaurant and the cheesesteaks were amazing!
