She allowed another customer to come in while I was having my fingerprints taken & this guy might have seen some personal information. I explained how I was upset about all of this, and I was then told by this woman to leave, even though I had done nothing wrong. So I had to go this place bc my job required me to. The website says to show up wearing a mask and Covid protocols would be followed. Sounds good to me. Show up and the lady is not wearing a mask or even has a mask to put on. I have to go into a small room with her and get my finger prints done. So basically standing next to this lady with no mask on. Mind you I'm vaccinated, but I have a child who can't be at the moment and even then I still run a small risk of catching whatever this lady may or may not have. On top of that she was rude and condescending the whole time. "Have long has it been since you had your prints done bc your prints are pretty bad." What would you like me to do about that? This was my first time coming to this location. Which is hard to spot and on the second floor. You must have a scheduled appt time. It was pretty prompt. The only suggestion I had would be having a sign that says please sit and wait until your name is called (also have your DL and credit card ready) that way people wouldn't interrupt the only person doing all the fingerprints. I waited 4 hours for an appointment I was 5 minutes late for. Got chastised by the woman doing fingerprints for not answering her Roll Call, even though I had answered her multiple times. She was incredibly rude to everyone who came in was very very abrasive. I recommend being proactive to the point of even being rude to get your appointment at the schedule time. read more

My fingerprints were rejected by the State and they were done at the Dallas and 30 location. So I came to this location at the suggestion by the lady from the State. The women that did my prints at this location was rude and said the reason my prints were rejected is because my prints are faulty (like my fingers themselves) and not the quality of Identogo's work. That doesn't make any sense. What do I pay them for if the State is going to reject my prints?? So I had to pay another $21. Oh and if this set is rejected it must be my fault because my fingerprints are faulty and not the operator who's doing the service. This is ridiculous and I will never use them again. read more

Do not go to this location!!! The lady who works here is extremely rude and incompetent. After being told I needed to reschedule my appointment twice after having already showed up, I was understandably annoyed and ready to be done with this place. Each time I had the same employee and each time she was extremely unhelpful and passive aggressive. When I arrived at the office for the third time, I was greeted by her saying "Oh" accompanied with the most disgusted look. It was as if she was so inconvenienced by my presence. When I confronted her she refused to tell me what her problem was and continued to make the appointment the most uncomfortable experience I have had to date. It literally took me 5 minutes to get printed. Walked right in and was immediately greeted by this really sweet lady -- did not catch her name, unfortunately! But she was nice and QUICK, which I really appreciated. I thought my long-ish nails would be an issue, but it's a computerized system and she said it would be fine, it was!! I was a bit nervous about my appointment especially since this is my only option to get fingerprints done as many PD offices are not offering fingerprinting services to the public. I showed up early to the appointment in case there would be trouble finding the location. There are stairs or an elevator you can take to the second floor and the Identogo office is to the right of the stairs on the second floor or you would just walk straight after you get off the elevator. I was about twenty minutes early to my appointment, but was able to get started with my fingerprints as there was noone else waiting. The person that helped me was extremely helpful and answered my questions. I was told that they only can print on FD-258 cards and if you have another type of material they will not be able to print on it, but that the FD-258 cards are federal and should work for as a substitute. Overall, my experience with Identogo was excellent and I would use their services for any future fingerprinting needs! read more

State of TX EMT licensing requires EMTs and Paramedics to have fingerprints taken but only allow IdentoGO to take the prints and process them. Being forced to use this company puts severe stress on the individual. It's almost impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner accessing the website. There are no humans answering calls. Went to the appointment location which did not have a working system/printer. There is a handwritten sign on the door for a long time now, and the appointment booker did not know the system was down. This was a 50 mile drive one way to get to this office. The person at the office the individual to another location, by which time the appointment time had passed, and cancelled the appointment. IdentoGO does not allow any walk-in or standby appointments, there the process has to be started all over again, thus missing college enrollment deadlines. Cannot even fathom how this company is still operating with all of this miscommunication and zero customer service. They do not employee humans to answer phones or offer any type of assistance. Their feedback line is a message system. Worse company ever. Do not recommend at all, waste of time. read more

820 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Unit 400 J, Plano, TX 75023 is a 2-story building and IdentoGo is located inside this building upstairs on the 2nd floor in suite 400 J. **Look above the Desi 8 Sports Lounge, the door leading to the 2nd floor is next to Cici's Pizza** Cash and PERSONAL checks are NOT accepted. IdentoGo ACCEPTS: 1) Credit card or Debit card (2.1% fee is charged when using a card) 2) Business check 3) Money order (They only accept money order if the amount is the exact fee amount.) 4) Authorization code (aka web code). Ask your employer if they offer an authorization code/ reimbursement for background checks (it's a long 17 digit alpha numeric code.) In my case, I was hired by a daycare and Identogo is the Texas DPS vendor who does background checks for the state of Texas. All employees working at any daycare in Texas have to be background checked which includes fingerprints. I paid with my debit card so $40.58 is the total for TX-Daycare License done through IdentoGo. ($39.75 for background check + $0.83 for service fee =$40.58) For fingerprinting process, schedule your appointment online. On day of appointment, sign in on the clipboard & take a seat. If you don't see an employee in sight and you're the only customer waiting, make a noise to let staff in the back office know you're in the waiting area. Someone will come get you and tell you which back office to wait in. Before fingerprinting, they ask for: 1) Social Security number (I wasn't asked to show my card but they required me to type my ssn on a keypad.) 2) A valid Government issued ID: driver's license, passport, state ID card (and they need the original -no xeroxed copies) 3) Method of payment. See top for types. They DON'T RETURN your DOCUMENTS UNTIL YOU FINISH THE PROCESS. For fingerprinting process (or a daycare license), a person behind a computer asks you to place both thumbs on a glass screen (resembles the one you see under a microscope in a lab setting), then four fingers of your right hand and four fingers of your left hand. Next, your picture is taken which you can't smile for it's the rule (no ones sees the picture-it literally is filed with the fingerprints for the FBI) and you sign on an electronic signature pad accepting service fee & cost, also authorizing the FBI & Texas DPS to perform the background check. Then they give you a receipt and your documents back and you're done. Important note: They DO NOT take walk-ins. I witnessed this myself while waiting. A man came in wanting to do fingerprinting for his license to carry(hand gun) but he didn't have an appointment. The other employee checked the computer and confirmed he did not have an appointment. She asked him if he applied for a CHL on the Texas DPS website yet. He did not he replied. She informed him that he needs to do that first before he can proceed with fingerprints. She said TX DPS charges $40.00 for the application and he will have to wait until he receives an email from TX DPS with instructions on moving forward in the licensing process. He said he drove an hour from Cleburne, TX. She invited him to sit in the waiting room and apply online on his phone, however she said TX DPS may not send the email right away and that sometimes it takes a day or two to receive it. I don't know what happened after that because my appointment was over so I left. So just be careful and check if there's something else you should do before going to Identogo without an appointment. Find another location! First let me start by saying we are in a global pandemic. Everyone must have an appointment, yet you have to sign in. Pens aren't sanitized, but they do have sanitizer on the table. So, I signed in and used the sanitizer. The unfriendly woman called me back to get started. I signed up to bring my passport as ID because my license is expired (because you can't get an appointment to renew, because it's a global pandemic). The lady refused to take my passport and wanted to argue with me about whether I was able to get an appointment or not to renew my license. Then she asked for payment, so I borrowed another unsanitized pen to sign the check. Again, I used the hand sanitizer available on the table. Then we had trouble getting my prints because of the sanitizer. She criticized the fact that I had used sanitizer multiple times since I had arrived. The booth next to me also had an unfriendly woman arguing with her customer. Seriously, hire better people! read more
