I decided that it was the perfect time to do something about the acne scars on my face and to reduce the inevitable signs of aging. When I was a preteen I started getting acne and I continue to experience breakouts now that I'm in my 50's however Vittoria and her entire staff have helped me reduce the appearance of the acne scars and the aging signs with the many services they've provided and the products that they offer and I use as part of my daily regimen. Looking better has helped me to feel better! Through the years, I've I had just about every service that Lasermedica has to offer, from laser hair removal to micro-dermabrasions, facials, Botox, fillers, chemical peels and recently I purchased a series of the Vi Peel and after just two treatments my skin looks and feels incredible. I've been paying…read moremonthly for the past 4 months, yet I haven't been able to receive proper treatments because they are either unable to schedule me on the days I'm available or they cancel without notice. On August 26, I came in for my appointment but was told I couldn't be treated because I was tanning month ago and that's understandable so they only did a small test area and rescheduled me for September 9. When I arrived on September 9, I was told I didn't have an appointment--even though I had the confirmation. If it was canceled, I should have at least received a call or email. Instead, I wasted 30-40 minutes driving there only to be turned away. To make matters worse, the receptionist offered me only half a treatment (half legs) and expected me to wait an hour, even though I pay for full legs and had a confirmed appointment. It's completely unacceptable to be charged every month, go 4 months without treatment, and still not receive the service I'm paying for. This place needs to take accountability for poor scheduling, lack of communication, and wasting customers' time and money.

I've attached a photo of one of my problems areas over the time that I have been going to Pat for treatment at Alpha Electrolysis. I received an informative consult and then she went on to introduce me to the zapping that is electrolysis. I first met Pat in August 2019 and have since had 14 treatments since then. My first target area (pictured here and relatively minor, but everyone sees their own flaws tenfold) has almost entirely disappeared. We've essentially killed off all my unwanted neck/chin hairs and have now moved on to other areas, like my upper lip. Her prices are fair, she doesn't dilly dally to waste your money, and she always considers your skin's needs. She somehow remembers the details of your life and asks how you are as she zaps away your problems. Note that everyone's pain tolerance is an individualized learning curve. For example, I can have my neck hairs treated for hours, but my upper lip is more sensitive. While Pat offers her own numbing gel, I bring my own potent formula that I purchased off Amazon (Ebanel 5% Lidocaine Topical Numbing Cream Maximum Strength Numb 520) and the 1.35 oz has lasted me all year. Anyway, all this to say, if you are considering electrolysis, stop by and meet Pat. Worst case, you are well informed and on your merry way. Best case, you rid yourself of unwanted hairs forever.

Their zerona and lipo light treatments are a farce - they'll argue that it is not a weight loss treatment and that the expectations need to be reasonable, both of which I have/ had fully agreed with but you'll find out after just a couple of visits/ treatments that they have no proper procedure for those treatments - they just wing it. In fact their nurses who are otherwise very friendly ask you (the patient) for steps to perform the treatment because the Dr didn't care to advise them how. And here's the shocker of all - their body sculpting machines are not 100% operational - when questioned about it, the Dr didn't care to even provide his explanation to my face and let his nurses do that for him - even if he was busy at that time, there were other times when I met him after the fact when he could have had the decency to explain it in person. And guess what the explanation was- "oh yeah, it is a known issue and we have someone coming in to fix the equipment." For $900 per day visits which is what I had to shell out, for a total of $3600+tax (and this was no money that I picked off a tree), this is no way to be treated. Find better alternatives to this place. Consider yourself warned. Again I have nothing to gain with this review and just want others to not commit the same mistake I did by picking this place.
