I've attached a photo of one of my problems areas over the time that I have been going to Pat for treatment at Alpha Electrolysis. I received an informative consult and then she went on to introduce me to the zapping that is electrolysis. I first met Pat in August 2019 and have since had 14 treatments since then. My first target area (pictured here and relatively minor, but everyone sees their own flaws tenfold) has almost entirely disappeared. We've essentially killed off all my unwanted neck/chin hairs and have now moved on to other areas, like my upper lip. Her prices are fair, she doesn't dilly dally to waste your money, and she always considers your skin's needs. She somehow remembers the details of your life and asks how you are as she zaps away your problems. Note that everyone's pain tolerance is an individualized learning curve. For example, I can have my neck hairs treated for hours, but my upper lip is more sensitive. While Pat offers her own numbing gel, I bring my own potent formula that I purchased off Amazon (Ebanel 5% Lidocaine Topical Numbing Cream Maximum Strength Numb 520) and the 1.35 oz has lasted me all year. On August 26, I came in for my appointment but was told I couldn't be treated because I was tanning month ago and that's understandable so they only did a small test area and rescheduled me for September 9. When I arrived on September 9, I was told I didn't have an appointment--even though I had the confirmation. If it was canceled, I should have at least received a call or email. Instead, I wasted 30-40 minutes driving there only to be turned away. To make matters worse, the receptionist offered me only half a treatment (half legs) and expected me to wait an hour, even though I pay for full legs and had a confirmed appointment. It's completely unacceptable to be charged every month, go 4 months without treatment, and still not receive the service I'm paying for. This place needs to take accountability for poor scheduling, lack of communication, and wasting customers' time and money.
