I've attached a photo of one of my problems areas over the time that I have been going to Pat for treatment at Alpha Electrolysis. I received an informative consult and then she went on to introduce me to the zapping that is electrolysis. I first met Pat in August 2019 and have since had 14 treatments since then. My first target area (pictured here and relatively minor, but everyone sees their own flaws tenfold) has almost entirely disappeared. We've essentially killed off all my unwanted neck/chin hairs and have now moved on to other areas, like my upper lip. Her prices are fair, she doesn't dilly dally to waste your money, and she always considers your skin's needs. She somehow remembers the details of your life and asks how you are as she zaps away your problems. Note that everyone's pain tolerance is an individualized learning curve. For example, I can have my neck hairs treated for hours, but my upper lip is more sensitive. While Pat offers her own numbing gel, I bring my own potent formula that I purchased off Amazon (Ebanel 5% Lidocaine Topical Numbing Cream Maximum Strength Numb 520) and the 1.35 oz has lasted me all year. Anyway, all this to say, if you are considering electrolysis, stop by and meet Pat. Worst case, you are well informed and on your merry way. Best case, you rid yourself of unwanted hairs forever.

It's like she read my mind and knew the exact spots I really needed help with. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was this hard roller she used on my muscles. That hurt. But, I know I needed it because I was getting severe leg cramps in the middle of the night (from hiking and endurance training). She also got my pressure points in my head and massaged my scalp. Guess what.. I haven't a cramp or headache since!! She used hot towels throughout the experience, hot rocks and a warmer down my back when she did my legs because she knew my back needed extra work... she even used this oil that I swear is the best in the world! I paid for an extra 30 minutes because I just did NOT want to leave lol. Also, being that I am training for the Spartan race this year, I will be coming back as much as possible! Their zerona and lipo light treatments are a farce - they'll argue that it is not a weight loss treatment and that the expectations need to be reasonable, both of which I have/ had fully agreed with but you'll find out after just a couple of visits/ treatments that they have no proper procedure for those treatments - they just wing it. In fact their nurses who are otherwise very friendly ask you (the patient) for steps to perform the treatment because the Dr didn't care to advise them how. And here's the shocker of all - their body sculpting machines are not 100% operational - when questioned about it, the Dr didn't care to even provide his explanation to my face and let his nurses do that for him - even if he was busy at that time, there were other times when I met him after the fact when he could have had the decency to explain it in person. And guess what the explanation was- "oh yeah, it is a known issue and we have someone coming in to fix the equipment." For $900 per day visits which is what I had to shell out, for a total of $3600+tax (and this was no money that I picked off a tree), this is no way to be treated. Find better alternatives to this place. Consider yourself warned. Again I have nothing to gain with this review and just want others to not commit the same mistake I did by picking this place.
