I signed up for their lifetime guarantee laser treatments for multiple body parts. I was flexible with booked between 3 different. When I went to one of the appointment they refused to treat me because they thought I was tanning (I hadn't been in the sun for 3 months!) and when I tried to rebook it they was a month and a half out. That took away 4 and a half months of non summer time during my contact period. I was able to get a few treatments that did reduce the hair growth within my contract period but when I went to book for my "lifetime guarantee" they informed me that it is actually not free. The guarantee is that they will keep treating you if you pay for the service !!! What a JOKE. I won't be paying for anymore treatments that's for sure. They wasted my time! Zero stars. My elderly husband purchased a $100 gift card by mistake thinking he was at a nail salon. We realized it when he arrived home and called leaving a VM explaining his mistake. This review is for the corporate offices, not this branch. When I bought my packages (which aren't cheap), the main benefit that was touted was the flexibility, especially because I explained that I'm about 45 minutes - 1 hour away from three of the locations in my area. Over the last 6 months, I've had my appointments rescheduled on me because they've adjusted their schedule. First, it was closing on Sundays. Next, it was closing earlier (at 6 pm) from 9 pm. Finally, at my last appointment, they said they would no longer be scheduling more than one appointment. I will reiterate, I live 45 minutes to an hour from any office and the only time I have available is on the weekends. Believe me, I took time off of work to go to one appointment during the week. It took me over an hour to get there for a 15-MINUTE APPOINTMENT. Let me get this straight, I paid over $5K based on the premise that you were open 7 days a week from 8 am-9 pm and I was assured the flexibility because I lived so far out. Yes, I take some responsibility for putting my faith in that assurance, but the blatant disregard for clients' time is astonishing, not to mention their staff who also have to deal with schedule changes and the irate clientele. Incredibly dissatisfied with Ideal Image. I will never again purchase anything from them nor would I ever recommend them. I was so excited to get my bikini, legs and underarms done for my upcoming wedding. New Years of last year I decided to purchase an almost $4,000 package with monthly payments to make it more manageable. First off you have to pay $250/year to have the "lifetime guarantee membership" which is essentially just a funny way of saying you pay $250/year to get discounts off of touch ups, which are the lifetime part. Not that you do the treatment and the results last for a lifetime. They misrepresent their services to their clients. Also, if you ever have to reschedule an appointment, they do not have any availability for 2-3+ months after you need your service(s) done. Timing is everything since you have to laser your hair in it's different growth cycles. Also, if you have a question, they do not call you back. This was a complete waste of time and money. The staff are pleasant which is why I have 2 stars but other than that I am appalled with how this company is managed. They take on way too many clients for the staff that they have. All they care about is bringing in as many clients for the money. Even though they do not have the bandwidth to be able to accommodate as many clients as they have. I even contact Northgate to see if I would have any better luck when scheduling my appointments and they are the same. Also, since they have screwed up my appointments and timing of my appointment they have told me "well when it comes time that your treatments should be done, we will see if you still need the rest of the treatments or we can up the frequency of the laser". The first issue being, I have paid for all 9 treatments, therefore, I should get all 9 treatments. Also, the answer is not to up the frequency of the laser because at the end of the day you should be protecting the integrity of the skin. Since they have upped the frequency of the laser, I have had painful and itchy welts in my treatment areas that have lasted for 2 weeks at a time. When I mention this, I am told that it's normal and to continue applying Hydrocortisone cream on it. Which doesn't help. As a healthcare provider, I am so unhappy with the way this place is run. Was seen in September for cheek filler, 1 syringe of voluma for each side. The injector had just a few months of experience and stated the only reason she works at Ideal image was the hours and didn't really seem to care about her work. The filler she injected is lumpy, created a well around my under eyes and looks TERRIBLE. I had my face looked at by several other injectors outside of Ideal image and they all stated that it was the worst filler that they've seen, and I need to get it dissolved by Ideal image to get rid of the well around my orbit and the lumpy spots. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I requested that Ideal Image dissolves the filler, and they had to put a "case" in with their medical director, 2 months later I received a call that they will not dissolve the filler, and they see nothing wrong with how it looks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My face is WRECKED and Ideal Image refused to do anything about the issue. I have had two appointments in the last five months, one of which was canceled on me, but since no one told me, I showed up and they "squeezed me in". They said it was because my notifications were off and they would fix it, so it wouldn't happen again. It was downhill from here. I booked an IPL Photofacial (December 20th) and my next hair removal appointment (January 4th, it has to be two weeks apart from the IPL), both canceled. First, I was contacted that my hair removal needed to be moved because the technician was unavailable on the 4th, I had no issues and they bumped it up a few days. Realizing this was a conflict with the IPL, I called back, got shuffled through three reps. and finally someone was able to tell me that I was right and it needed to be moved, now my hair removal was set for Jan. 9th. For the December IPL, I called the morning of, to confirm, since my previous appointment was canceled without notification, sure enough canceled again. Rescheduled but now I couldn't get in until February. Since I wasn't getting the IPL anytime soon, the rep. tells me they'll move up my January removal appointment to the 23rd. Turns out, after wasting an hour rescheduling previously, they never rescheduled the hair removal, which she corrects and moves it to December 23rd. Morning of the 23rd, I get a confirmation email and text saying my appointment is good to go, I drive 30 minutes in snow and ice, almost get hit twice, to find the location closed! Then, someone calls me to say they obviously need to reschedule and they can do it on January19th, completely unprofessional! I was done, I called the corporate office when I got home to cancel my useless "membership" and get a refund. Now, after dozens of phone calls, speaking to several reps., hours of time on hold, and no results, I am being told I will only get $1500 of my $2750 payment ($625 each treatment). Ridiculous!!! I paid a lot of money for laser hair removal and I was told that after my treatment if hair grew again I could go to any Ideal image and get laser removal for a specific price. A year and a half past by after being pregnant and my facial hair grew again I went to an Ideal image near my home, they said they couldn't find my file. They scheduled me for an appointment, I arrived there on the day of my appointment and they said they were unable to find my file so they didn't know what "level" to start me on. The lady mentioned that she'll have to send me back and try to contact a company where Ideal Image sends archive files. Unfortunately I wasn't told that the location I selected didn't have a technician to perform this task and after many calls and a lot of time and frustration, I was able to get an appointment on the opposite side of the city. It's been over a year and there is little if any, changes to my face. I'm still making payments for this service that was absolutely useless. I'm not one to put people or businesses on blast, however my experience with Ideal Image needs visibility as they are STEALING from their customers. They collect payment upfront and make it nearly impossible to schedule the service you paid for. I pre-paid thousands of dollars for 9 laser treatments, and only received 3. They scheduled out my 3 treatments over the course of 6 months so that I am not able to dispute my credit card charges after they completely ignore my calls and voicemails when I try to schedule my 4th appointment. Over the past month, I've tried calling the Mill Creek location several times and have left a couple voicemails that haven't been returned. I also called corporate and they transferred me to Mill Creek's voicemail. I emailed my sales rep twice begging for help and didn't receive a response. I texted her and she responded saying that one of the reasons she quit is because they bite of more than they can chew. I shared my experience on my social media feed and one of my friends actually called from their phone number on my behalf, and they picked up. It's like they don't answer my calls because they've already got my money, but answer a call from a new phone number because they have a new opportunity to steal more money. My friend told them to call me back and they told him that they have more pressing matters to take care of first. A few hours later, someone called me to schedule an appointment. I was reluctant to schedule an appointment with them since the only reason they called me was because my friend chewed them out, however I scheduled it anyways because I didn't want this to hurt my case when I seek legal counsel. I messaged their Facebook page and they responded "sorry for your inconvenience, we'll have someone reach out." Somebody from Ideal Image, I'm assuming at a higher level than the retail location, did contact me later in the day. I explained my experience to her and provided additional examples from my friends and friends and friends who have had similar experiences and shared with me. She told me that there are two sides to every story and that it was false and unfair to listen to their experiences, which really downplayed mine. She also said that since I've already received three treatments that they cannot refund me, but only issue an account credit. She was very vague about what the account credit would be, that is all she said. She also mentioned that it is a standard procedure for them to have anyone who cancels a contract with them sign a hold harmless agreement to minimize their negative reviews. She also said that my treatments were within the 6 to 10 week guidelines so she didn't see what the issue was. I told her the issue was that I had my treatment over a month ago and was concerned that my future treatment wasn't scheduled for the following month because I understand they book out far in advance and just wanted to get on the calendar. I wasn't even able to get on the calendar because they would not answer their phone or return any of my phone calls. She told me that everything that I told her has a reason behind it, but didn't elaborate any further. She told me that they have an 800 number exclusively for scheduling, however this number was never provided to me. Again, when I contacted corporate they transferred me to mill creek's voicemail even though I told them they don't return my calls. This was obviously a huge red flag. She said due to Covid they've been keeping their lobbies closed and using the phones throughout the day to check people in when they arrive since the doors are locked and that they have simply been too busy to return voicemails. Lastly, she told me she's been with Ideal Image for 12 years and the thousands of 1 star BBB ratings have only been received since Covid started. This doesn't make any sense to me. Her attempt at dissolving the situation was to offer to advance schedule me for my remaining six treatments and explain to me the reason they don't do that is because if I cancel it messes up all of the other appointments, and offering an account credit of which I don't know any details about. I told her I was not satisfied with this resolution and will continue to raise awareness until I am satisfied with how the business handles customers when they are displeased with customer service (and integrity for that matter.) she told me since she was unable to provide a solution that satisfies me that she will need to escalate to her manager. I finished my 9 treatments for the Brazilian and I have very dark brown hair, guess what, it grew back. The hairs of lighter brown but definitely not blond and the technician tried to say that's the reason the hairs grew back. It most definitely isn't, the last 3 sessions I had were with technicians who weren't being thorough when going over each area. I was supposed to have like an hour of time for my Brazilian/Perianal/Outer Thigh and they were getting it all done in 30 minutes or less. What's even funnier is there were two techs who told me if I had regrowth after one area ended, they'd go over whatever few hairs came back (probably because they knew they weren't doing a good job) and then I got a call saying that tech was no longer working there. Don't trust any tech that says they'll retouch after a contract ends. Make them go over an area again at that same appointment if you feel they finished too quickly. That's what I should have done. So now I have a bunch of regrowth but my brazilian contract ended and they shrug and say that I'd have to pay again. Also the scheduling is horrible, you basically have to plan your life around whenever they have appointments available so you can get all 9 of your treatments that you paid for. My whole package came out to almost $5,000 and it wasn't worth it folks. Don't do it, this place basically charges $500+ a session with these prepaid packages, the $250 lifetime doesn't do anything. I was able to resist and schedule a she a consultation. I was promised I will get at least rough estimates and find our details about lifetime guarantee option. My consultation was with a random guy who was very rude and making inappropriate jokes. He told me that he's not going to give me an estimate and he was very pushy to make me sign up for a treatment to get deal and find out how they provide lifetime guarantee. Ideal Image in Mill Creek has been very nice. The staff are wonderful, nice, and considerate. The front desk personnel have been nothing but helpful to me any time I've been seen. My consultant made it very clear of what to expect. If people took the time to actually read their contracts, there would be less negative reviews.
