I had a full face laser hair removal package with Ideal Image in Arlington. The location is now permanently closed, which is important for anyone considering their services. I originally booked a touch up session last year but canceled because the service wasn't worth it if the price could jump so dramatically. As of May 2025, they informed customers that the "lifetime retouch" guarantee could increase from $70 per session to almost $350 per session, charging separately for each area (face and neck) even if your contract is for a full face. That's what the nurse that was over my treatments told me as well. Ideal Image needs to do better. The service was rushed and finished in only 30 minutes--nowhere near the quality or thoroughness expected for the price. When I attempted to address the issue with the office manager, I was told it could take up to a week just to get a response. That level of customer service is unacceptable. Lets start with the phone call to schedule an appointment. Phone was answered by CHRIS who was beyond amazing. He took the time to make sure that Arlington was the closest to where I was when I asked. I had to call several times and to schedule, cancel and reschedule and Chris was so very polite, kind and professional. He made me WANT to come in just to meet him in person. Second, my treatment. When after one month you don't see any results they will not compensate or give you a credit towards more units. So Beware. The location near me has no appointment's till the end of March. Why would they make it sound like appt's were no problem. Great beginning experience. He is going to try coolsculpting as well at the end of the month. He invited me to contact him if my experience was not a ten. That's pretty cool... Session scheduled for 3:00 pm. I arrived at 2:45. Went back at 3:15. Completed pictures/measurements at 3:41. Nurse thought maybe the measures were small... Running options again at 3:42 Deciding to just do one (2) cycle of lower for time sake, began at 3:55... Next session is next Tuesday. We will finish then... I have an idea of what to expect now... Gained weight and my stomach is bigger and now going to get a consult for PAH from a plastic surgeon and seek legal advice, which they have been sued before for this very thing by model Linda Evangelista and destroyed her career, in which I did reach to her attorney for more advice. I read the reviews from months/years ago and I am glad I came now. Sarah is my "personal" nurse and is fantastic. I have never felt anything but relaxed with her. When I schedule my next appointments I just say with Sarah and it is done. I came in for one thing and they never pushed anything else. I was the one who asked about all the services. Everyone is very personable. I was most impressed that the picture up front is not of a random person but the girl at the front desk. She is open and honest about it. It may not be the cheapest but I feel you get what you pay for. Some services are pretty intimate and I would rather have a nurse do it than just a person with a bit of training. In addition to services their products.... I am one of those all about natural this and that but they sent me home with a bag of goodies and I am hooked. Noticed a difference after a few days and improvements continue. I was skeptical when I heard the advertisements about staff being real nurses with training for each specific service. Well it is true! Equipment can glitch and if something goes odd they call the support people and fix it right then and there. Every person is different and so is each result. One example is I have very fibrous tissue so it is harder to so things. Sarah noted this and before I came in she made sure she knew how to get the best possible results. Another example is hair color. I am a redhead so they told me at my consultation. That my results would not be 100% because the laser doesn't work on light hair. The problem was at the front desk, I don't know the girl's name who checked me out, but she has very long blonde hair. She did not communicate with the injectionist to find out what I had done. She charged me for Botox instead of dysport. I was supposed to have been charged $420, for 120 units of dysport. I was charged $674 for 120 units of Botox. When I questioned her about this, she explained that it had been a hectic morning for her and she'd been on the phone with her boyfriend and was expecting calls from him. She also told me she did not know how to do a credit, and that there was no office manager there at the time, so she would contact the office manager and get this straightened out. I was supposed to get a credit of $254. Today is Nov. 17, 2030 and I still have no credit. I have called multiple times, talked to Cynthia in late October who told me she was right on this and I should be getting my credit in a couple of days. I called a week ago, to be told that there was one more step that the manager had to do before I got my credit back . so basically I paid for a procedure that I did not get. Laser is not permanent. Hair will come out thinner/finer when you do laser. However, no matter how many sessions you do it will still continue to grow. It definitely won't grow as fast as it does when you shave/ wax though. I've been coming here since 2016 for my sideburns but it still grows to this day. I am so excited to get started today. I have waited so long to get this done! The front desk is very professional and kind. They were informative and excited that I was excited. My consultant Lisa was ah-mazing. She is smart, intuitive and answered my questions. She wasn't pushy with the price but she knew what would fit my budget without getting buyers remorse.
