In desperation, I called Stan at 11 PM, honestly not expecting anyone to answer that late, but he picked up the phone right away. He reassured me that there was still a good chance we could recover it and said he would go out first thing in the morning before the beach sweepers came through. True to his word, Stan was on the beach by 6 AM. Within a short time he located my ring buried in the sand, 12 hours after I had lost it. I cannot even describe the relief and gratitude I felt when he sent the photo that he had found it. It truly felt like a miracle.
