My daughter's dentist uses this exact technology for cavities, so I know its capabilities well. Unfortunately, I was told that the dentist here chooses not to use the laser for cavity removal because it "takes too much time." For a patient willing to pay out-of-pocket to protect their natural teeth, being told a superior, less-invasive technology won't be used simply because a traditional drill is faster is deeply disappointing.It feels like this practice prioritizes high patient turnover and faster, cosmetic treatments over basic tooth preservation. I eventually got a call back two hours later--but by then, I had already found another dental clinic that could see me. Just this morning at 9:45 AM, I called to cancel all my future appointments and, once again, had to leave a message. I have paid a total of $446.00 out of pocket for the services I received from this office. That is after an $80 credit. I did receive bills for even more money, but I left a negative review on Yelp and was contacted by the practice. I was told I should ignore the bills I was sent because the practice has no control over their system and it sends out bills whether money is owed or not. My experience of medical practices is that an estimate of service costs is provided prior to provision of services and it does not tend to be hundreds of dollars off base. I don't recommend the practice simply because their patients should have a reasonable understanding of what a service will cost. It's too much of a risk. There are many dental practices out there that can tell you precisely what you will owe them for your care and that have gained complete mastery over their billing system. But no complaints about the clinical care.

If you're like me and get clammy skin the second you walk in to an office till the time you leave, not believing anything you were told.. then this is for you. I never say too much about places I have enjoyed so I'm feeling a bit perturbed because I am going to have to overshare starting with the waiting room. The office is on the second floor next to the elevator. It over looks an open courtyard and the waiting room is adjacent to the courtyard. With the open windows concept, I never got the claustrophobic feeling accompanied with the usual drabby walls and tight fit of most waiting rooms. The office manager had pre sent me all of the forms to fill out and sign via text. The forms were easy to complete and worked as a fast pass to the hygienist. The appointment time was honored and I was seen right on time. As I walked back to yet another room that has traumatized me my whole life the air felt different this time. Jada was as cool as a cucumber and is a pro's pro. She actually listened to my concerns. She walked me through the steps making sure to take the extra time needed to examine my mentioned problem areas. I felt that she actually cared and didn't miss a beat. After she completed the exam and cleaned my teeth the doctor came by and kept the same energy and never tried to "sell me". I'm aware of my preexisting dental issues and he was on top of them all. He gave me extra options to fixing them I hadn't been given by others. Most importantly, he never once made me feel less than for my situation. Nor did Jada. They both made me a little more confident in the health of my teeth while also stating the facts. And I'm not looking for sympathy but I hate when dentist come off as elitist. I was handed a complimentary goodie bag on my way back to the front desk. I paid my 49 dollar first time fee for what felt like 1000 dollars worth of work. The office manager also offered me an in house insurance program for 300 dollars a year which includes 2 future teeth cleanings amongst other perks as well as 20% off all services (no limit). The last thing I did on my way out was snag a complimentary cranberry La Croix sparkling water. All in all, I could have never expected a first time visit to a dental office turn into possibly the event of the week. (It is only Thursday but I don't have much planned this weekend.) Thank you "Breez" for restoring my trust in the dentistry field. You're my new home. :)

According to my insurance benefits, scaling and root planing for all four quadrants is covered at 80%, leaving me responsible for 20% of the allowed amount. However, the initial estimate appeared to reverse that split. After I raised the issue, the amount was adjusted, but my quoted responsibility still exceeded 30% without justifications or explanation. My insurance benefits also indicate that fluoride application is covered at 100%, yet I was asked to pay for it. Because the insurance calculations and out-of-pocket costs remained unclear, I declined the treatment and left the office. I hope the practice improves its insurance verification process and provides patients with clear, accurate, and itemized cost estimates before treatment.
