It's really a shame that the Dental services here are great but the billings are all screwed up.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE - The office manager, Stephanie, is rude, unprofessional and sneaky. First, they push the "deep cleaning" whether it's truly necessary or not and once you have the expensive recommended deep cleaning done, you will then be scheduled for MANDATORY 3-month cleanings that ARE NOT 100% COVERED BY ANY INSURANCE, which is NOT MENTIONED, so you're stuck paying for basically a 3-month membership to this office for OUT-OF-POCKECT cleanings or they will use scare tactics threatening the warranty of any of the very expensive work you had done at their location (ie crowns, bridges, etc..). According to Stephanie, you can NEVER OPT OUT of these quarterly cleanings, whether you can afford the out-of- pocket cost or not, EVER, or your warranties will be VOIDED. I would NOT advise anyone to get a "deep cleaning" at this location.. IT'S A SCAM to keep you paying as long as you're an Ideal Dental customer. Secondly, the billing is a mess! Dates of service are changed or incorrect and billing amounts are WRONG. They also file random insurance claims. CHECK EVERYTHING (ie dates, services, charges, etc...) and have them PRINT EVERYTHING before you sign it, so you can read it ALL first. Also, BEWARE of additional out-of-pocket services padding your bill. Lastly, watch out for sneaky Stephanie (Office Manager?) She will lurk around you while the dentist is working on you, without your knowledge. It's uncomfortable and unprofessional and the office clerk should be in the office getting the billing correct, NOT sneaking around patients in the exam room without announcing herself. I went for my first appointment here on Monday 8/5, I was greeted by Bianca at the front desk she was super kind and helpful. Bianca informed me that after my exam depending on the state of my teeth they try to fit in the teeth cleaning as well. I really appreciated that since with other dentist office I've been to you have to schedule for another day. Once checked in, it was about a 15 minute wait and I was called back for my panoramic x rays with Trevor. Once the panoramic X-ray was done I was shown to my little room where I got my bite wing x rays done. Shortly after Dr. Yue came in and checked my teeth and went over my x rays with me. Then someone came in and explained the break down of the bill for cleaning and asked for approval which I agreed and they also brought in the price breakdown for what I would be needing in terms of fillings. Once I agreed to the cleaning Dr. Yue got started with the cleaning and pretty soon I was out of there. From start to finish my appointment didn't take too long and I was really happy I found a dentist office close to home with really caring and kind staff. I returned at 8am on Wednesday to get some fillings done. I got checked in and Tyler took me back to the room where I would be then shortly after Dr. Yue came in and got started with the numbing process. After I was numbed up he got started with the fillings. I was out of there by 9:30. If you are looking for a dentist office I highly recommend Ideal Dental Aliana. If you want a an inept dentist that would recommend services that you do not need just to get money from you... you picked the right place. I visited this office to simply fix a broken crown .... Was told that I needed to replace another crown (which wasn't given me any issues). I trusted and agreed for me to have to visit an oral surgeon a couple of months later for a full extraction of that tooth. So not only did I pay $900+ to them but this oral surgeon that had to fix the dentist bs was $1300. I am pissed, in pain, very disappointed. DO NOT go to this office. Dentist is crap and office staff is as well. I should have followed my gut and went to another dentist when I had to go back (3x) for this dentist to simply fix the minor issue turned into a disaster. Young and unseasoned RUN!!!! read more

Not Happy with the office. I was looking for a dentist near home and I visited this office for a routine cleaning after which they scheduled a 6 months recall appointment that are not considered confirmed unless the patient confirms it. One fine day I receive a bill of $50 for a no show of the appointment I did not confirm. Their justification is that they sent txt mesg and phone calls. I was out of the country and did not receive any. I checked with them if it is mentioned anywhere in the txt abt this policy and no where in the txt is it mentioned that there are charges for no show for an apt. that was never confirmed. They say it is mentioned in the new patient paperwork that I signed 6 months back that there will be a no show charge for an apt that Is not the confirmed. Not a very ethical and nice way to treat patients. read more

Did not clean teeth as authorized per dental insurance. I do not recommend this business.

I was looking for a new dentist near home and thought I would give this place a try. The staff were friendly and the office is clean/modern. It was relatively easy to schedule an appointment which is a big plus. However I will not go back because I was not entirely comfortable with the dentist and the treatment plan she came up with. The day I came in looked like a busy day for them. Although the wait time was short, I felt like the dentist was rushing. She looked at my X-ray and took a quick glance at my teeth. Then she announced I would need a root canal ASAP and a couple of fillings. I was surprise because I experienced no sensitivity or pain at all. Then the staff came in with a quote of $800+ treatment plan after my insurance coverage while the dentist worked on another patient. I've never done root canal so I asked a family member who has done several in the past for advice. I was told the quote seemed fair for the proposed treatment plan but he suggested me to get another dentist's opinion before proceeding. Turned out I do not need a root canal because the "shadow" the dentist claimed to be the reason for urgent root canal is more likely to be the discoloration of an old filling. Also the additional fillings are not necessary at the moment because they are so minor and may be reversed by more thorough cleaning and use of mouthwash. I understand each dentist may have a different view when it comes to how aggressive the treatment should be. So far I'm still experiencing no pain or sensitivity so I prefer the more gentle/keep monitoring approach. Only time can tell which dentist is right about my teeth. I want to share my experience as a reminder to others. Dental treatment is expensive and it does not hurt to get a second opinion before you decide what's best for you. I personally prefer a dentist to discuss possible options and taking a bit more time to explain things to me. This is the main reason I will not go back to this place. read more

They took great care of my teeth and made me feel welcome. They gave me tips for how to take care of my tooth sensitivity. They also gave me a really fancy electric toothbrush! I'm actually looking forward to my next visit, and that's something I never thought I would say about going to the dentist. read more

And there's nothing they can do about it after they pulled my teeth for the surgery. I Have always been super self-conscious about my teeth and my overbite, imagine it being worse than when you started braces for years ago and nothing you can do about it now after paying for braces and getting the sh*t end of the stick. I am very upset and have to get over some anxiety and suck it up and go to an appointment that I scheduled a month ago, tomorrow. (Yes the wait times on appointments are terrible lately good luck getting ahold of anyone at 3:30, went straight to voice mail when I called them 3 times) I am very upset with the amount of money that I had to dump to make myself feel better about myself, just to find out nothing came out of it. my teeth are worse, they can't put back in teeth that they pulled out. You should be sure about some thing before telling a patient to get teeth pulled and pushing there overbite to get worse for surgery that's not going to be able to happen now. I've made several phone calls to different surgeons and tried everything which was a mess and took several hours of my time but nothing seems to matter. I have to live with this, I guess they don't. So it doesn't matter but I just wanted to share that was my experience. So if they mention surgery, Don't take the steps for the surgery that they recommend without KNOWING FOR YOURSELF that you have the money to cover a 45000 dollar surgery on top of the braces, on top of the sleep study- just my experience. read more
