This company (NW Cabinet Source) immediately answered my desperate plea for help with Erv S. coordinating and Bill P. (the owner) coming out to modify the cabinetry the NEXT day!!! David did a great job in refinishing the cabinets, and always checked with us as various issues or choices came up. The cabinets as refinished look great, and David replaced all shelves and cabinet hardware. David and Claire worked together on the last day to finish and clean up. I needed a custom breakfast nook built in our condo to accommodate the needs of our growing family. I shopped around a LOT and got a wide range of estimates, ideas and time frames, none of which suited our budget or needs. (Not to mention, very few contractors had examples of their work to look over.) Fortunately, I stumbled upon TrimLogic and was impressed with the pictures posted and his reviews. Craig replied to my inquiry immediately and was able to provide a reasonable estimate (especially considering the level of his work). I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and he was able to work with my design and improve it! He added the little details that really made this piece shine like matching the moulding, add little extras, installing soft shut hinges and appropriate finishes. He convinced me to stain the bench top to match my cabinets and leave the base and wainscotting white. What a brilliant idea! The bench visually flows into my kitchen cabinets without overwhelming the area with all white or all wood. He thought of all the things that I didn't even know I should be concerned about. Craig was a very respectful of my family and home during the installation process. The majority of the bench build and painting/staining occurred offsite. This meant less mess, noise and smell in my house. Craig arrived on time (or would text me if running late) and he always cleaned up every day! He was conscious to protect our walls, hardwood floor and even the outdoor area where he worked. He even worked around my toddler's nap schedule and kept the noise to a minimum during that time. I don't need to sit here and describe the quality and beauty of his work. You can see & read this for yourself in the pictures and reviews on Yelp, Facebook and his website. I really appreciated his communication promptness; he always responded to me immediately. Also, he managed his time and budget extremely well. He gave us an installation date (and length of time) and did not run over nor did he underestimate his budget. Once they put it in, it looked great but there were a few small, weird marks from when they installed it, and I had to do the sink, gas and faucet hookup myself - which I knew in advance. I did need to ask them to redo the caulking since it was yellow/almond and the countertops and backsplash were white. The sub who came was actively uncool but the folks at the office were perfectly fine to deal with. Overall I'd rate their service 7/10, their quality 8/10, and their value 8/10.
