We hired Reliance Moving to help us move the end of April 2019. They must have overbooked that day,…read morebut chose to do our move anyways. We requested 3 guys and they sent 2, neither of which knew what they were doing. They were slow, one of the guys took at least 5 breaks that totaled over an hour. The guy who took all of the breaks complained multiple times that things were "too heavy". The truck was only about 2/3 full when they told me it was a full load. Instead of using dolly's to move stacks of boxes into the truck they carried one at a time regardless of its size or weight. We have moved 7 times in the past ten years and have hired moving companies every time. In our previous move we moved from Boise to Meridian and hired a company that sent 2 guys who moved all our things in one load in under 3 hours. It took the guys from Reliance Moving 2 loads and almost 7 hours to move the fewer items to our new house that was less than a mile away from the old one. They also damaged our wood floors by dragging a piano across them instead of using dolly's. When my wife pointed our the damage the guy blamed her and said she should have "put plastic over the floor". I called and messaged the company about the damage and never received a response. At the end of the move they tried to charge me more than was agreed upon and couldn't provide me with and invoice. It was clear that these guys were not Reliance Moving's "A-team" and I'm guessing they weren't even employees, but guys they hired for the day to help out because they were overbooked. If you're going to portray yourself as a professional moving company you need to employ professional movers and deliver the service that you advertise on your website.

I've generally had ok experiences with movers but a few bad apples give the rest a bad name (ahem,…read moreit rhymes with shmironman) . I wish all movers were like Cameron and Eric from Reliance. A few of the many things I appreciated...They were polite, and very professional. If they didn't know where something went, they asked. I know it sounds simple but a lot of movers don't do that. They did not mess around either. They were working at full speed all day. They were also extra careful with wrapping my baby's things so they would stay clean. I had my infant son and my dad was helping me with unpacking and organizing and they frequently asked if either of us needed help. My dad, who had never used movers and thought it was ridiculous that I was hiring people for something we could do ourselves, said "wow!! That was totally worth it!" I will use them for my next move without hesitation and whole-heartedly recommend their services.

The difference between everyone else and CaseBoise is that they actually care about what they are doing. They care about you, your stuff, and your entire moving experience. The packers are meticulous, careful and they label everything clearly and logically so you can unpack with some organizational efficiency. The movers are pleasant and super efficient and very careful. The office staff are helpful and pleasant and the owners are amazing. Oh - and the fees were extremely reasonable!! I consider us high-maintenance and I cannot say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend them!

The house was sold, mostly emptied, but needed the property completely vacated. The new owners were moving in on Monday. Caseboise was contracted to come out that Saturday morning to clear every remaining item and deliver it to the driveway of the destination. Not even put it inside or organize anything. They had plenty of workers arrive, but they acted like a group of beginner trainees. They seemed unmotivated, with too many of them standing around watching everyone else work, or moving like molasses. Anything that took effort or energy had to be done by me. They loaded approximately half of the items, closed up the truck and we all went to the receiving end. There was additional help to unload at the receiving end. All seemed to go smoothly. We still had time left in our time slot and half of the items still to move. We went to get in our car to go back to the house when the foreman handed us a bill and said, "We're done. We aren't doing any more." We were flabbergasted. They were walking out mid job yet still expecting full payment. They were full of excuses. "It was taking too long." Maybe work with effort and use the entire time slot scheduled rather than leaving early. Multiple hundreds of dollars for Caseboise Moving to not do the work and instead take an extra long lunch break was unconscionable. They had another move booked. Are you planning to also abandon them mid job while demanding full payment? "This wasn't what we expected." We sent your people multiple photos and made sure your company knew what would be required. They had the time. They had the manpower. Instead they committed an abuse of trust, causing financial harm and a huge amount of additional stress and panic. If I could fire Caseboise Moving ahead of time from every scheduled future move they have, I would do it. Do yourself a favor. Don't get stuck half moved on one of the most stressful and hardest working days of your life. This company apparently doesn't care about the harm they are causing when they leave you high and dry. You have a contract and a moving deadline. Don't let Caseboise Moving add to your problems.

Originally I called a different moving company, (separate review of that awful company in a different post) and was given the contact information for Action Movers from Curtis @ All Access Storage in Nampa. Immediately when I spoke with Emma at Action Movers, I knew this was going to be a great fit for my move. And it was! Everything went according to plan. They were affordable and flexible and I appreciated that so much. I called them and was given two options of possible move dates, and one of them just happened to be on a Sunday and the date was coming up quick. Originally I was worried about having others work on a Sunday, but they were great about it and showed up on time ready to rock and roll. I thought I was going to have to do a lot of the physical lifting, but boy, was I wrong! Chris, Ethan, Nick and Julian were absolutely fantastic! They came in and it was all hands on deck! Super hard workers, organized, friendly, knew what they were doing, (cuz I was clueless as I've never moved an entire house before!) and overall so great to work with. Dare I say moving day was actually FUN for my son and I! They showed up, loaded everything into the truck, and were very respectful of my items. They brought blankets and tape to protect my furniture and corners. They even helped pack up some of my things. After traveling across town to my new home, the crew from Action Movers unloaded everything, including the big furniture, set up the beds, installed the washer and dryer, (!) and Chris was even kind enough to help me figure out how to use my sprinklers and showed me where the fuses were for utilities too. I'm telling you- these guys were top notch! My son and I were commenting how quickly everything went, and jokingly Chris said we had an eight hour fire, and he wasn't wrong! LOL All in all, the day went super smoothly and way better than I expected considering how awful the first company was that I had spoken to. I so appreciate everyone from Action Movers, and I've told everyone in my circle whether they need to move or not, that this is the company they need to go with if and when they ever do need to hire someone. Can't sing their praises enough! I'm not one for posting online very often, but when there's good work that's reliable, affordable and trustworthy, I want to give credit where credit is due and shout out what shouldn't be whispered. Thank you, @Curtis from All Access Storage in Nampa for connecting me to Action Movers. I am forever grateful and will always share what a wonderful experience I had with this moving company. I would not recommend this company at all. The movers showed up on time and seemed friendly…read moreenough, but that is about the only good thing I have to say. They seemed inexperienced and there were many problems: 1) I asked for 4 movers and 2 trucks for the whole day. After 3 hours, the two most energetic and careful guys left on another job! They came back 3 hours later and helped the other two guys finish. If I would have had all 4 movers the whole day, I think the performance would have been better. The two movers who were here all day NEVER took a break or ate lunch! It's no wonder they got sloppy, especially towards the end as they were trying to finish and go home. 2) The movers unloaded the truck full of boxes BEFORE they unloaded the furniture. Who does that? Since there were boxes in the way, some of the furniture didn't get placed where it should have been. And they didn't keep all the pieces of the bed together, so we couldn't put our bed together for a week afterwards until we found the missing piece in the garage. 3) They stacked big boxes on top of little ones. 4) They had to open the door of the refrigerator to get it through the narrow doorway, and they broke off the lower rack on the door. We've never found it so I suspect they threw it away. They also broke my bird bath. It was intact and fine in the storage unit but when we checked in on the patio (to add water), the top was on the ground and the base was beside it. The concrete was broken and unable to be fixed. 5) There are multiple dings, scratches, and dents on our walls. They were not careful with furniture, seeming more concerned with speed than being careful. 6) Even though boxes were labeled, we found boxes misplaced throughout the house. Boxes that should have been in the basement were placed in the garage and vice versa. Many boxes were placed with the labels facing the walls, so we had to move stacks of boxes to even see what the box contained and to figure out which room the box was supposed to have been placed in. 7) They obviously got in a hurry at the end and haphazardly threw the remaining items in the garage. There was no rhyme or reason to the placement of items; it was clear they simply dropped items wherever there was space available and without regard as to which room the item was supposed to be in. I left a message requesting that the owner Dan call back to discuss the poor performance and broken refrigerator door. He never did. Although this company had a lower hourly rate than some of the other moving companies I called, I would rather have paid $10 more per hour for better quality service. You really do get what you pay for. You'd be better off paying minimum wage to a couple of high school students and treating them to a pizza than hiring this company.
