Wow! What can I say? Lori deserves this review from the bottom of my heart! I tried to find someone…read moreto help me with organizing my garage last Wednesday & getting rid of donations, boxes & junk and to make it functional & breathable. Garage mess is the worst, esp when it gets wayyy out of control with Amazon boxes! What she accomplished in 4 hrs was beyond anything I was expecting- no joke. Lori arranged for extra services to come & pick up donations & the junk haul that same day! Everything was cleared out. Whattt?! Lori is not only a great human being with a big heart but she is incredible with getting to know you & what you really need & want to get done. Who is gonna help you? Your mom, your friend, your BF?! Nope! But.... Lori will!! I have had major anxiety over my head while raising an 18 month old-zero time & working nights. Lori made it possible that day to care for my son and come in and out of the garage to see what she was whipping up out there! I can't say enough.. She is coming over already next wk to help me clear out a space to exercise, & go through my entire nightmare of a big pantry. What a God Send & a remarkable help off my mind and shoulders. She is articulate & fabulous & does so many other jobs & things to help you relax about the crap you can't seem to get done! Thanks Lori, I appreciate you immensely, & I will see you next wk!

"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the…read moreimpossible." -Francis of Assisi Living Independence Network Company A.K.A. LINC is a local service agency that cares for people with disabilities, all levels, focusing on ability within their disability and helping them to be as independent as possible. My mother-in-law gets services through this agency and I help her with many of them. Linc is very helpful for families by learning available resources and support. This is the first review of the Boise, Idaho office. This is my 434th review. There are many different services that Linc provides and in three cities: Boise, Calwell, and Twin Falls. Some of the services they provide are: Advocacy: Call them if you're experiencing a problem in relation to how you live with your disability. Whether it's a landlord, employer, local business, and the such, Linc will help you by speaking on behalf of you, writing a letter for you, or acting for you. This is a very important part of social work and for people living with disabilities. Independence Living Services: The will help locate housing for you, train you to live independently: budgeting, renting an apartment, working with Health and Welfare and much more! Personal Care Services: They will help you hire, train, and pay employees to help you through the Medicaid program. Help can be cooking, cleaning, hygiene and other quality of life tasks. Transportation: They hell you apply for assistance with transportation such as medical taxi (Medicaid/Medicare pays), and discounted transportation such as taxi and bus passes. Medical equipment loans: That's right... if you need a wheelchair, power chair, crutches, CPAP machine, you can call Linc and they will help you with that. You can borrow these items for as long as you need. They also take donations of these items and many more if you ever hear about them or have some to discard. Lastly, The ramp and rail loan program. According to their website This program provides: Temporary loans of modular, portable, aluminum accessibility ramps for residences averaging 30-90 days. Only requires a fully-refundable deposit of $250 or $450, depending on size and configuration Ensures people with accessibility or mobility issues to maintain their independence and freedom. Even if you're having a family member come to visit that requires a ramp, you can borrow a rail free of charge, just put down the security deposit. Linc has been in the Treasure Valley for nearly 30 years. They have a vast amount of resources available and a database of other resources for yourself and your family. It's important to know what services are available out in the community. You never know who is going to need this knowledge. This review is going into a new "Community Resource" Yelp list which may help our community grow and overall help individuals help themselves move up Maslow's hierarchy toward self-actualization. As for my review-- I am going to post this same review on all three cities because it brings awareness and again, may help someone. The staff has always been friendly. I've dealt with the community nurse several times, they come to the participants home, and are always filled with both compassion and empathy. My brother in law is unable to walk long distances and his mobility scooter took a dump. He was unable to get a new mobility scooter due to lack of funding-- Linc provided him with a "loaner" which he can use for as long as he needs, and he once again has the independence and quality of life that we all deserve, thanks to Linc.

Todd Wilder (their Ramp Guru) has been on great support in getting me information on everything from Service Dogs to Scooters to Phone Apps that make the ph more accessible for visual & other impairments. I have used them numerous times: 1) When we moved to the area, and they literally unpacked all of our boxes from the moving truck, and put our home together and organized it. It was truly magical and amazing! 2) I've also used them for a few reset when we had purged, and downsized many items, and needed a house reset. 3) I've used them to organize our entire garage. 4) I'm using them once again for another reset due to additional downsizing. Look no further than Tidy Style for all of your organizing needs - the staff is all so professional, kind, brilliant, and amazing! If you're trying to make a decision on which organizing service to hire, hire them!

I love looking at better ways to organize spaces, but don't seem to have the creative mind to do what they can. It wasn't until sometime in 2022 that I saw a car in Meridian with the Tidy Style name on the side. I looked them up and couldn't believe I didn't realize they were local. Fast forward to 2024, and I was finally on the tail end of repainting the interior of my home. One of the last rooms was the pantry, which had turned into somewhat organized chaos over the years. Knowing that I would have it completely emptied out, I knew this was the perfect time to finally see if TS was available to come out. Heather was extremely responsive in communication, and understanding with rescheduling. Shea and Amelia came by right on schedule and quickly got to work. They had the entire pantry completed in less than three hours. The transformation was remarkable. I only wished I'd have taken before pictures before emptying the pantry, prior to painting. We are so happy with the work they performed, and are already brainstorming ideas of what areas in the home they could help us out with in the future.
