Everything about my experience working with them in wedding design and planning was superb. Their design talent is evident to anyone driving by their well-decorated showroom windows or browsing their posts online, but I want to write more deeply about the planning process, and how smoothly everything went during the nine months leading up to my ceremony at the Cathedral of the Rockies and reception at the Boise Train Depot. As a long-distance bride, I worked with both Kristin and Teresa via Skype sessions about once a month leading up to the wedding, and we corresponded via email in between. Kristin managed my day of coordination. She offered great venue insight - guest experience, sound and lighting quality, time of day and season, and many other considerations that never would've occurred to me without her expertise. It was so valuable to be able to discuss Pinterest and other wedding ideas, and work through the planning timeline together. Her guidance was spot-on and her follow-up was unparalleled - whenever she said she would have something complete, it was complete. Teresa managed my wedding design. She created and updated my personalized virtual design board with colors, centerpieces, flowers, and every other detail possibly imaginable. She even helped me find a new bouquet just weeks before the wedding. I thought it would be nice to have some childhood pictures, but didn't have time to print the them - Teresa took care of it. Her graphic designer created some signage that coordinated with the font and style of my invitation. She took copious notes during our conversations, and managed all the detail tremendously. I was lucky to arrive in Boise about a week before my big day. The three of us met to walk through the day, confirm final details, look at my complete table setting, and checkout the Etsy items I had mailed directly to Bliss. Kristen completed all of the vendor confirmations - it was such a huge relief to know everyone was onboard with the day's events without contacting them individually. At the rehearsal Kristin gave everyone in the wedding party a timeline with events for the next day, so there wasn't a question about who should be where and when. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the evening. My wedding day was idyllic. Teresa and Kristin are the wedding masters. The Cathedral and the Depot were both sublime. The flowers were stunning. All of the big moments happened on time, and all of my guests had a great time, which was especially important to me since 75 of them had travelled from out of state. I couldn't have asked for more competent, creative, savvy wedding-day dream team. My husband and I are still in awe of our wonderful wedding day. Thank you, Bliss!

My family was the only reason the wedding went well, when it came to contacting all the vendors, erin was no where to be found. When it came to the the actual ceremony, she was completely chaotic and was the ONLY cause of stress on the wedding day. Oh crap. I feel guilty. I've been working so hard on saving money these couple of months and here I…read morego spending like a mad woman for my toddler's birthday party! I've been doing so well, too, like I cut off my threenager 's ballet class cuz she didn't really like it, I just made her do it cuz it was so darn cute. I don't eat out much anymore and I haven't bought any new clothes and shoes since...uhhh last year? (FYI, the ones from Hawaii were gifts.) Plus, I just pluck my own eyebrows but I get lazy nowadays. I don't care if I look like Magnim PI, I'm not paying $40 for wax or threading on my face! We've always had a low key for our daughter 's birthday, but since this is the first year she had actual friends, I thought it would be fun to have a little party to celebrate her birthday. But then I had a horrific picture of 20 toddlers running around at our place for six hours and I panicked! I've never hosted a party like that before. I looked on Yelp and found this company, left a message, and less than 24 hours later, Amanda responded. She sent me a form online and I returned it ASAP to book the date. I didn't even have to pay a deposit! A few days later, Amanda confirmed the date. They're usually busy with events so I had to leave a message each time I called them, but Amanda responded quickly and professionally. Everyone fell in love with Marcus, the balloon guy! Even me!!! He was fun, creative, and very likable. All the kids enjoyed their balloons. Many of our guests took his business card, they thought $125/hour was reasonable. I cringe when I think about how much I spent on that, especially since the kids popped all the balloons. I could've just saved that for her college fund. Next year, though, we're gonna have to stick with cake and ice cream...maybe without the friends. They play at the park everyday anyway. If you're okay with that price and you have that extra money to spend then Marcus is your guy!!!!

I use the assistance of an outside rental company on a very regular basis. Event Rent is my go-to…read morechoice, when the need arises. I have rented everything from a few linens, to hundreds of pieces of dinnerware, to large scale tents and dance floors. Whatever you need, they have it! If they don't, they will do their best to find it for you. The staff is always helpful, friendly and accommodating. The business is locally owned and operated, which always adds that little extra sense of attention to service. The delivery crew is always on time and willing to go the extra mile without complaint. They offer delivery or in store pick up, if you prefer. Unless you just need a few linens, I recommend the delivery it is so worth it!

Whatever you do, DO NOT book with this company, highly unprofessional staff, overpriced and a…read morenightmare to work with regarding your own schedule. From site visit, to contract, to event...the team at BC took great care of me. The venue is very clean, modern and stacked with an entire staff waiting to help with anything you need. The location is perfectly located in the middle of downtown and within a 2 to 10 minute walking distance from at least 5 hotels. On Saturday, their outdoor market is setup right outside the building, in their courtyard, which was a bonus. The ONLY downside, which is why they are probably so clean, is they do not permit ANY outside food or beverages...not even coffee. This was upsetting to many in our group so they eventually permitted us to bring in coffee.

Their chef came to our home and put together a really cool setup in our backyard.
