I Love Gravity Vault! I walked in over 2 years ago having never climbed before and began my journey…read moreup many walls with Zach Jones. What a fabulous trainer and person. I am not an athlete but soon fell in love with this sport. Zach taught me technique and the importance of using my brain! My strength improved and my love for this Rock gym. I have been around the country and seen many rock gyms. None compare with Gravity Vault. Many are small, dark and dingy plus have very few if any Safety measures in place. The fact that GV. Requires a short "belay" class before you can climb alone is so great. Safety is foremost here. I've been to gyms that barely asked if I had experience! All the staff that have worked with me to develop my technique are excellent. Each having different strengths and perspectives on climbing. The fact that routes are changed on a regular basis is perfect for myself as I try to get in at least once a week. I'm never bored!! Zach Jones and Zach Barber are professional, knowledgeable, smart managers. I'm proud to call them friends after the time we have known each other. They are open to advice and understand CUSTOMER SERVICE Oh--BY THE WAY--I AM 71 years old and can finish a 5.9!!!

They apparently host a lot of events. Day pass was $28, but there are sometimes deals on Mondays or Friday evenings. Equipment is included in the pass, so no separate rentals which is nice. We like bouldering. They correctly informed us that they set their routes on the difficult side. I could even tell during a simple warm up route that they're much more challenging than usual. You can top out, and climb up the top, onto the platform, and down a simple route with extra handles. Good experience, I'll be back!

Stop bullying and harassing a child. All she asks was for you to provide her with a safe…read moreenvironment, instead you bullied her even further. What is your goal ? Your bullying can be fatal . Why you can't take bullying seriously? Are you qualified to interact with children? It is shame of you and you are a coward for harassing children. My daughter was bullied here. When we reported the bullying, the director and administrators started bullying her in the subsequent rehearsals. My previous review was deleted. There is a better way to delete a negative review in a more civilized way. I had communicated with them in order to resolve the issue internally prior to writing a review, but my good faith was met with ridiculing and demeaning attitude. They said nobody saw the bullying and it is inappropriate to report a bullying . They went further telling my daughter who was anxious and frightened that the bully was extremely angry (why). I am not happy to write this review but I have to. If your kids encounter bullying at Wolf PAC , just quit. All efforts to talk with them were met with hurtful reactions.

EDITED REVIEW: My 7…read moreyear old is attended Lavner NYU this summer (2025). My son was in the robotics camp and was injured. Another child dropped their metal robot on his head. My main concern was that there only one instructor who was a recent college CS grad with the kids. There should have been another person monitoring the class especially with classroom teaching experience (classroom management). I complained and their main office responded after one week. They promised to post two adults to the class, one of which would have classroom management experience so we hope this will change going forward and the camp will be safer. It's great that they have a subject matter expert but that expert should be paired with real teacher. I think Lavner is a good STEM camp for older kids but younger kids may need more supervision. This camp is similar to the other for-profit NYC camps for young kids and we have attended a ton of them (i.e. - NORY, iCAMP, etc.). These camps often hire teachers to double as class stand-ins and admins so this could have happened in a similar camp with similar safety standards depending on who is "managing" the class to prevent accidents from happening (i.e. - teachers who have eyes in the back of their heads type management) especially for a larger class of mostly boys in the 7-8 year old range. If Lavner does this, they would definitely be ahead of other for-profit camp competitors.
