On a blazing hot day this is where you want to go for a goodie. Coming here simply for the experience of watching them chop and roll your ice cream is quite satisfying. Customizing your cup of rolled ice cream with the toppings that you want is so fun! I love how their attention to detail makes your ice cream so tasty and it also feels a little extra. They take pride in getting your dessert just right. I would have no issue getting a sweet treat no matter the weather. The bonus was also getting a mango as well as passion fruit tea along with a pistachio cup and mint chocolate chip cup of ice cream. This place brings out the kid in all of us. The toppings really make it, and it's definitely a delicious guilty pleasure. So worth it! read more

Prices have increased from the last pictures, ice cream is now ~$9 after tax. I got the pina colada and the flavor was very disappointing, no pina colada flavor, just tasted like vanilla. The toppings included were yummy but not much. They prepared the order quickly although had trouble making it for a bit. Overall was just alright. Perhaps would try another flavor next time if this was craved. Glad they have this idea in this part of town though. read more

This is amazing fun! The ice cream is prepared right in front of you. No scooping from a bin. The dessert you requested is poured onto a freezing plate and spread into a layer, as it freezes, the server then rolls up. 5 or 6 ice cream rolls go into your cup based upon the cup size. Toppings of your choice are added, and you get to enjoy a delicious dessert. Go, you won't regret it! Laissez le Bon Temps Rouler! Art G read more

I think this is the same roll icecream store we have in Connecticut called 0degree... everything on the menu is absolutely alike. I love it there naturally I love this as well. My favorite is the strawberry shawty... strawberry, ghram crackers and a vanilla baseball smashed and smeared till it firm enough to be rolled into icecream... $6.95 and unlimited toppings to choose from.. nuts, candy fruit, popping boba. It's yummy! They also have a variety of bubble tea flavors... will be back to try that sometime. read more

Next stop on our ice cream crawl: Icey Point Rolling Ice Cream in Clifton Park. Madame had chocolate chip cookie dough, and I had Keylime pie. They prepare the ice cream right in front of you and shave it into the rolling ice cream spirals. Suggested for me was whip cream and graham cracker crust toppings. Madame got caramel and additional cookie dough as her toppings. Labor-intensive, and takes a long time to get your ice cream. $15 for two bowls of ice cream. Tasted good but the price makes it unaffordable for the average family. Unique and a novelty, nice staff but probably won't go back read more

I left a review quite a ways back but wanted to leave another because as I'm waiting for my bubble tea I'm watching these girls hustle and cater to a non stop line of patrons waiting to order some of the best ice cream and most creative and delicious bubble teas there is in the area. I tip my hat to them because they work hard and serve up some delicious treats at the same time. It's always good to see them busy because it means they're doing something right. Place is always clean and full of smiles. Definitely a must if you find yourself in the area!! read more

When they first opened we were excited to have something different in the area to be able to experience. customer service was amazing, service was quick and enjoyable, and the ice cream tasted great. We love the toppings and how cute the final product looked. After a couple of months of going we noticed a decrease in the taste quality, it was almost tasteless. read more

I am glad to see that you can get this kind of ice cream outside of NYC and with more variety of options than the few that the mom and pop shops have to offer in LES. The concept is what everyone else has stated in their review, pour liquid on a cold plate where it freezes and they roll it up into rolls and that's your ice cream. The cool part is that you get to choose whatever toppings you want and as much as you want which is where you get your bang out of your buck. read more

Wow I love the roll ice cream. It is $7 but a nice treat every once in a blue moon! So I got the coffee ice cream ( I love a latter). Now the toppings this is tuff! Wow, I thought watching teenagers struggle to scoop hard ice cream was a lot of work. I can see why they have a tip jar here. My wife had been here before and was familiar with the concept, so as soon as the temperature dropped below 40 degrees I brought her on a surprise field trip! Brrr... The concept is that you pick a starter dairy liquid and some toppings, they chop it up on what I believe is an anti-griddle (thanks Food Network for that tidbit) which flash freezes the mixture while they push it around to get it as thin as possible. Then, it is rolled up and topped with whatever additional things you want. The amount of work necessary is staggering. I ordered the mint-Oreo one, which took forever to freeze. They had to turn down the temperature on the anti-griddle and confided that this mixture took the longest. Still, it was only about 3-4 minutes. It was fun to watch her do her magic. I later splurged and had a cherry, some Kit-Kat candy bars, and gummy bears added. They have several dozen various fruit, candy, or snack treats that can be added on top. The cost per ice cream was $7 each, plus a tip which I consider mandatory. It was good but not great. First off, I like ice cream with chunks of stuff in it and this was finely chopped. Instead of mint with hints of Oreo, it was like drinking the milk after dunking mint Oreos. My wife hates pieces of stuff in her ice cream so she probably loved it. Some of the color combinations look downright revolting even though they probably taste heavenly. To freeze mine they really made it cold. So cold it bent the plastic spoon by 90-degrees and when finally the ice cream would break free... sproing! That temperature also froze the gummy bears into hard to eat blobs. Next time, leave them off. All in all, I had fun. My wife had fun. It is a neat concept. Now that I have done it once, I might order differently next time. In my mind it wasn't better than the ice cream that costs 1/3 as much from the local place nearby, but I can see the novelty of it. read more

I had "Mint to be" my girl had "I love you a latte" and my best buddy had "strawberry shawty" Strawberry shawty lacked the flavor that you'll find with a packed pint or suppose the heavy ness of other ice creams. He enjoyed it though but felt 7$ for a cup could add up quick with a family of 4. I love you latte tasted "like real coffee" lol she too thought it was similar to a light ice cream but loved the toppings and is always right lol I had the mint to be and enjoyed it. Minty and satisfying. I suppose if you want heavy ice cream gluttony. Just hit up Stewart's and you know what to do. But this makes ice cream fun. It's a way better after dinner date spot then Stewart's soooo read more

We wanted to love this place because we LOVE ice cream...and to have a place so close to home would've been awesome. However, we were so disappointed. The presentation of the rolled ice cream is pretty cool and I guess that's what you pay for. The ice cream girls were nice and were working very hard. Toppings were unlimited! This all sounds amazing until you actually taste the ice cream. It had no flavor at all. We tasted the M&Ms that were on top, the whipped cream, and the Kit Kat bar. They take a 4 or 6 oz cup of a tasteless liquid (not sure of the exact ingredients), pour it on the cold tray, chop up a tiny cookie (or whatever ingredient the flavor is you decide contains), roll it up, and put it in a cup. It looks pretty, but it's hardly any ice cream. We will not be going back, but will take our $7+ (per 4 ounces)somewhere that the ice cream has taste and we actually get some ice cream for our ice cream loving bellies! I like to see business succeed so I hope they make some adjustments as they are very new. read more

I went here a few months ago with a local meetup group and had a great time. This is a newer icecream/boboa shop in a strip plaza off of 146. I ordered a boboa tea but lots of other people ordered the special rolled icecream. Cream is poured on a cold metal surface and scraped with flavorings and toppings of your choice. Once everything is mixed the iced cream is spread out thin to freeze and then scraped and rolled into your icecream dish. There are some really fun toppings including a roasted marshmallow! I recommend this place as a fun stop on a family outing or date. There is minimal seating inside but it is decorated cutely with their mascot polar bear and other things. This is a one price one size type of icecream place but it is worth it based on the freshness and unique ingredients offered. read more

It's pretty cool to watch them make it. Something new to take the kids to check out. Little on pricey side however it's understandable because the work they have to do to create your ice cream rolls does take time. They also have drinks options too. I tried the red bean and it was good. Place is clean and spacious. Not a lot of seating. Staff was lacking a friendly welcoming personality, they were very very BLAH, every single one from the register girl to the one making your ice cream. No smile no hi how are you? Nothing. Owner however was friendly and nice. I'm surprised he doesn't notice his staff is not. Maybe i came on an off day. ‍ Ice cream is little more bland than your usual ice cream. It's made fresh so it's probably healthier than the sugar packed ice creams. read more

Icy Point - So good especially on a hot day like today! Interesting variety of flavors in one desert! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clifton Park, New York

I was so excited to try this new ice cream place! I've seen this concept on Food Network and was excited this concept has come to Clifton Park! The service was incredibly disorganized and SLOWWWW. I know it takes longer to produce the product and it is cool to watch, but then they need more ice cream stations to keep up with demand. I received my ice cream after my husband was halfway done eating his and after people behind us got theirs! I ordered chocolate ice cream with Oreos and the ice cream had zero flavor. It barely tasted like chocolate! It was also extremely hard and was difficult to eat with a plastic spoon. They put one Oreo inside the ice cream so I couldn't taste any Oreo flavor either. Once your ice cream is in the cup, you get to choose "toppings" which are so skimpy it's crazy. I asked for walnuts and Oreos. I got one tablespoon of walnuts and one whole Oreo - so I had to break up the Oreo myself in the cup with the plastic spoon. You can guess how that went. The price is $7. Maybe Coldstone and frozen yogurt places like Menchies and 16 Handles have spoiled us but I won't be back here. read more
