I think this is the same roll icecream store we have in Connecticut called 0degree... everything on the menu is absolutely alike. I love it there naturally I love this as well. My favorite is the strawberry shawty... strawberry, ghram crackers and a vanilla baseball smashed and smeared till it firm enough to be rolled into icecream... $6.95 and unlimited toppings to choose from.. nuts, candy fruit, popping boba. It's yummy! They also have a variety of bubble tea flavors... will be back to try that sometime.

Next stop on our ice cream crawl: Icey Point Rolling Ice Cream in Clifton Park. Madame had chocolate chip cookie dough, and I had Keylime pie. They prepare the ice cream right in front of you and shave it into the rolling ice cream spirals. Suggested for me was whip cream and graham cracker crust toppings. Madame got caramel and additional cookie dough as her toppings. Labor-intensive, and takes a long time to get your ice cream. $15 for two bowls of ice cream. Tasted good but the price makes it unaffordable for the average family. Unique and a novelty, nice staff but probably won't go back

Unique way to eat ice cream!!! The flavor is great, a lot of toppings available. They're kinda stingy with the amounts but you can ask for a variety of toppings.

Wow I love the roll ice cream. It is $7 but a nice treat every once in a blue moon! So I got the coffee ice cream ( I love a latter). Now the toppings this is tuff! Ok toasted marshmallow , mango boba, walnut, fresh strawberries with chocolate polo sticks (?). It was really good! And just enuf to share.

Fun and fresh. Staff very friendly and efficient. It was crowded and they rolled along. We all loved what we ordered including getting a toasted marshmallow as a topping

I had "Mint to be" my girl had "I love you a latte" and my best buddy had "strawberry shawty" Strawberry shawty lacked the flavor that you'll find with a packed pint or suppose the heavy ness of other ice creams. He enjoyed it though but felt 7$ for a cup could add up quick with a family of 4. I love you latte tasted "like real coffee" lol she too thought it was similar to a light ice cream but loved the toppings and is always right lol I had the mint to be and enjoyed it. Minty and satisfying. I suppose if you want heavy ice cream gluttony. Just hit up Stewart's and you know what to do. But this makes ice cream fun. It's a way better after dinner date spot then Stewart's soooo

I went here a few months ago with a local meetup group and had a great time. This is a newer icecream/boboa shop in a strip plaza off of 146. I ordered a boboa tea but lots of other people ordered the special rolled icecream. Cream is poured on a cold metal surface and scraped with flavorings and toppings of your choice. Once everything is mixed the iced cream is spread out thin to freeze and then scraped and rolled into your icecream dish. There are some really fun toppings including a roasted marshmallow! I recommend this place as a fun stop on a family outing or date. There is minimal seating inside but it is decorated cutely with their mascot polar bear and other things. This is a one price one size type of icecream place but it is worth it based on the freshness and unique ingredients offered.

It's pretty cool to watch them make it. Something new to take the kids to check out. Little on pricey side however it's understandable because the work they have to do to create your ice cream rolls does take time. They also have drinks options too. I tried the red bean and it was good. Place is clean and spacious. Not a lot of seating. Staff was lacking a friendly welcoming personality, they were very very BLAH, every single one from the register girl to the one making your ice cream. No smile no hi how are you? Nothing. Owner however was friendly and nice. I'm surprised he doesn't notice his staff is not. Maybe i came on an off day. ‍ Ice cream is little more bland than your usual ice cream. It's made fresh so it's probably healthier than the sugar packed ice creams.

Passion Fruit Tea & Taro Bobba Tea. By far the best bobba tea!!

She had…read morecommented that she hadn't been to a Friendly's since the one in Saratoga had closed several years ago. With so few of them left in the area, I figured this was a good time to go to one. If you have mobility issues, it may be tough getting inside. There's 4 handicap parking spots in the front of the restaurant, and when they are full (which they were when we arrived), it is a lot tougher for folks who need assistance to get in. The sloping part of the sidewalk is the part farthest away from the entrance. There's also not a lot of space inside near the hostess table to wait if it actually ever fills up here. Once we were seated, it was a lot better. Our waitress did a great time getting to all the tables on which she was waiting, without missing a beat. There was a second lady there as well, but I could not tell if she was a waitress, a hostess, or maybe the manager. She was definitely helping, but it didn't seem like she had any specific tables. I have no idea how many times their menu has changed in the many years since we've dined at a Friendly's. This menu was pretty streamlined, with many familiar entrees. But gone are the senior options and the free dessert ice cream options. Then, again, seeing that ice cream cones started at $4, maybe ice cream isn't something they're comfortable giving out at reduced prices any more. Our meals were actually quite good. Mom said she really enjoyed her bacon cheeseburger. My crispy chicken sandwich had a filet which was maybe a bit thinner than expected, but it was definitely crispy, accompanied by pickles, and fresh lettuce and tomato. We were able to substitute cole slaw for fries with no issues. Even though everything on the menu is designed to be prepared fairly quickly, it's definitely not someplace to come if you're in a rush.

Today (Wed.), I had lunch with a daughter and grandchildren ages from 3 to 17. We arrived at 11:00 when it opened, and by 11:15 there were many diners of all ages. One attraction is a menu that appeals to all ages. They have a nice kids menu for food and ice cream plus a menu for seniors. Ambiance: Informal, good for kids We were seated at a large table for eight. The restaurant was much larger than the locations I remember years ago. There were many booths and two large tables in a spacious room divided informally into three sections. It actually looked nostalgic, not dated. There is easy access for handicapped and a large parking lot in front. Service: good overall Food: I noticed some classic offerings and some new ones-- Old time: Tuna Melt (with tomato slice and American cheese is a fan favorite. It was taken off the menu but put back on due to customer demand. New: The Mini Mozzarella Cheese Sticks "startup" is a new item. We ordered a serving today, and they were a hit. Ordered: Tuna Salad Melt (good as I remember) American Burger Burger with mushrooms and onions Crispy Chicken Wrap Chicken Noodle Soup & garden salad (you pick 2) Two children had Chicken Fingers and Fries off the Kids Menu. No complaints about food from kids. It was what I expected. One grandson commented that the Ice Cream Menu is as large as the Food Menu. True! Friendly's is associated with ice cream and fun. Ordered: Oreo Crumb Sundae Coffee Ice Cream Chocolate Milk Shake Small dishes of Bubble Gum Ice Cream 14 yr old said, "the ice cream is good, not as good as homemade but good." I was surprised the younger ones did not order a Cone Head Sundae, a favorite of my children when they were little. Pleased to see that take home containers were eco friendly. Friendly's was established in 1935 in Springfield, MA. A few years ago, the Blake Brothers sold the northeastern chain to Hershey's Corporation.

We frequented this place over the past two weeks while taking care of a family member in their final stages of life. Pita and Olive became our family's go-to spot for comfort food. We all ordered various plates from kebabs, falafal, beef and lamb pitas, chicken bowl, and sides of their delicious rice. While running errands a few days ago I actually stopped in JUST to pick up a side of rice and a small cup of their creamy dill sauce (which tastes amazing on everything). Fresh ingredients that are seasoned beautifully and plates that are crafted to satisfy and bring happiness to your tummy and your heart. I want to thank Pita and Olive for providing us with nourishment during some pretty chaotic and sad times.

The addition of the coffee bar/cafe menu has only further endeared me to the place. Just like their food, many of the components of the coffee menu are scratch made, including the milks. They make a pistachio, almond, and oat milk all in house. There may be more too, but those three I know for certain. The attention to detail is also impressive, such as the presentation of each beverage. The cups the drinks are served in aren't just pretty, but also sturdy. Which as a clumsy person, I appreciate. Harder for me to spill. Ha! Something to keep in mind about the cafe menu is that since everything is mainly scratch made or ordered special (their Matcha is from Japan) they will be out of things at times. But there's nothing bad on the menu so I humbly suggest going in with an open mind. The lack of one item being available has caused me to try others, and I haven't disliked anything! I hope they continue to do well and are in the area for a long time to come.

Our previous experience here was only with takeout about two years ago and we were quite pleased. The only downside on that occasion was finding out that 4 peppers on the menu for the dish that I ordered for myself was well beyond my spice tolerance. Certainly not the fault of the restaurant. We started out with a bottle of Saratoga Water (still) ($5) that is displayed upon every table as you are seated. I also couldn't pass up the opportunity to have an Ubu ($7) from Lake Placid. It was so tasty even though it was in a can. Papadam and chutneys were served while we perused the menus. Deviating from our tradition of starting with Mysore Masala Dosa we decided to try the Spring Dosa ($15). It was delicious enough to consider having again. Served with the traditional sambar and coconut chutney, the dairy rice-lentil crepe was a beautiful golden brown surrounding the flavorful filling of potatoes, panner, spring vegetables (which gave a contrasting crunch), and a lightly spicy spread. For her main course, my wife chose the Vegetables Kundapur ($20) with fresh vegetables, potato, coconut, ginger, and Mangalorean spices. Labeled with a single pepper on the menu, it had a slight level of spiciness and was very flavorful. We also tried a variation of Nan, Lacha Paratha. These whole wheat, griddle-made flatbreads reminded me of freshly made tortillas as their layers separated, but also flaked. They were delicious and less filling than Naan. As I've already noted, there was no way I was going to order any dish with 4 peppers next to it on the menu. I therefore opted to have the Lamb Madras ($26) with coconut, mustard seed, red chili, and curry leaf. Two peppers on the menu turned out to be JUST RIGHT! The lamb was very tender and not gamey. The coconut added a hint of sweetness and the white rice provided on the side for both of our meals was a perfect blend of texture for adding to the curry sauce. Service was friendly and efficient as they appeared to work as a team. Ambiance was very pleasant. There were plenty of leftovers for a second meal.
