I had to park on the street at a metered spot. 25 cents for 15 minutes. Luckily I always have quarters! The building is old and run down. It's poorly lit in the basement area. I was impressed by the three floors. It was a large store. There were a lot of spooky porcelain dolls in the 5.99 cent category- if that's your thing. There was some furniture, Christmas decorations, toys but it was mostly clothes. The clothes I saw were in very rough condition, worn, pilling, some stained. I would go back maybe but not for a while. I know these stores are hit n miss. I thought the one thing I saw was cool, 1966 Kreskin game. I did not purchase it but the price was great at 2.99.

I waited a few minutes outside because I wasn't sure if they were really open and I waited back until I saw a brave soul go to approach the door and it opened. That was my cue to make it through the door. I made my way back to the furniture section to look over items and then right over to the electronics. There wasn't much to see here. You would have thought with the amount of vehicles in the parking lot meant that there were rare antiques in the store. The store itself isn't all that big. It is definitely on the smaller side.

The clothing deals are delightful. I love the grilling accessories bargains. Where I get tripped up is the new enter, exit, and donation directions. Confusing to me. Maybe I would understand it better in a written notice on a laminated paper near your entrance. I saw other drivers showing hesitation/uncertainty about egress.

This wonderful shop was such a huge surprise!  We found it a little difficult to locate, but thank…read moregoodness for Waze.  There was plenty of parking and some larger items were for sale outside the store (a vintage rocking horse, in great condition and for an amazing price, a couple of awesome looking patio chairs).  Seasonal decor, books, games, small pieces of furniture, cool knick knacks, candles, and in the rear of the store were racks of clothes, accessories, pillows.   The prices were fantastic ~ a few times I had to blink and look again to be sure.   And with the addition of small, fuzzy, adorable animals  up for adoption (birds, guinea pigs today!), this was one the best thrift stores I have ever been to.  Senior Citizen discounts are applicable on Fridays and all proceeds go to the Last Chance Ranch Rescue.

This place is HUGE, and filled with so many different types of treasures,clothes,antiques, and everything in between! We had to cut our trip thru the store short due to my low blood sugar and desperate need of food, or we would surely would have went thru the whole place. 6 floors! 40 venders. But even though we didnt get to all rooms, we both found some great items. The clothes I found were very nice, clean,brand name and they look so good! Love every item we got, and can't wait to get back and start from the beginning and see what is new and see if we missed anything (bc there is a lot, so you can!) and then that time,go thru every room. I love that you have to pay for it all at the end, especially with different venders. That can be a pain. But just take your basket (which I love that they have to shop with) and head back to the main floor and where you came in and pay there before you leave. The guy at the counter seemed pleasant enough. He was really passionate about the church benefitting from the merch sales. I got a pristine beautiful harvest iridescent grape bowl for 3$- got a Hazel Atlas mid century candy dish in sonic. It was fun looking at the memories of bygone years. The prices are super cheap! Don't forget to check out the showcase windows as you walk in. I'll be back but one downside is their hyper limited hours. They do close at two pm- verrrrrry early- I think the hours are incurrent on the Yelp page. The parking is street parking but it was easy to get a spot. The meters were gone and I honestly don't know why the town would make you pay to park- there isn't much worth seeing in Lansford in my opinion.

The next day while strolling around Jim Thorpe wearing nothing but a borrowed (thin) cardigan in cloudy, windy, 50 degree weather, we came across this beacon of hope on Broadway, a couple doors down where we were waiting for our table. I got the cutest fleece type jacket and scarf. The ladies there helped me pull it together and stay warm for the day and into the evening. All for 24 bucks. Woo hoo! The answer was, " There is an outlet, please try it." Or "If it doesn't, bring it back we will give you credit for it. No refunds." This is by far the WORST thrift store in over 1000 miles! It is a for profit store. The help is paid. No appliances, lamps and electric items are not tested. They offer an outlet, but if it doesn't work at home there is no exchange, no credit, just a point at the sign "All sales final." I am sorry, every business should have a customer service. Listen to your customers and come to an agreement. Not just a sign, ALL SALES FINAL. Discussion Over! So as I was ending this review, a comment underneath is this statement... This review is looking pretty epic! Nice. Funny, I truly wanted this to be a happy ending. But that wasn't it!!!
