I had to park on the street at a metered spot. 25 cents for 15 minutes. Luckily I always have quarters! The building is old and run down. It's poorly lit in the basement area. I was impressed by the three floors. It was a large store. There were a lot of spooky porcelain dolls in the 5.99 cent category- if that's your thing. There was some furniture, Christmas decorations, toys but it was mostly clothes. The clothes I saw were in very rough condition, worn, pilling, some stained. I would go back maybe but not for a while. I know these stores are hit n miss. I thought the one thing I saw was cool, 1966 Kreskin game. I did not purchase it but the price was great at 2.99.

This wonderful shop was such a huge surprise!  We found it a little difficult to locate, but thank…read moregoodness for Waze.  There was plenty of parking and some larger items were for sale outside the store (a vintage rocking horse, in great condition and for an amazing price, a couple of awesome looking patio chairs).  Seasonal decor, books, games, small pieces of furniture, cool knick knacks, candles, and in the rear of the store were racks of clothes, accessories, pillows.   The prices were fantastic ~ a few times I had to blink and look again to be sure.   And with the addition of small, fuzzy, adorable animals  up for adoption (birds, guinea pigs today!), this was one the best thrift stores I have ever been to.  Senior Citizen discounts are applicable on Fridays and all proceeds go to the Last Chance Ranch Rescue.

The answer was, " There is an outlet, please try it." Or "If it doesn't, bring it back we will give you credit for it. No refunds." This is by far the WORST thrift store in over 1000 miles! It is a for profit store. The help is paid. No appliances, lamps and electric items are not tested. They offer an outlet, but if it doesn't work at home there is no exchange, no credit, just a point at the sign "All sales final." I am sorry, every business should have a customer service. Listen to your customers and come to an agreement. Not just a sign, ALL SALES FINAL. Discussion Over! So as I was ending this review, a comment underneath is this statement... This store is absolutely massive. And the carts? Chef's kiss. Smooth, solid, high-quality carts that roll like butter. Think Target carts, not the janky, squeaky chaos you usually get at thrift stores. I appreciated that more than I expected to. Prices were mostly average. Not amazing, not outrageous. Vans were around $14.99, which isn't great but also not the worst I've seen lately. Home goods weren't huge, but the section was decent and worth a look. I didn't find any jaw-dropping designer labels, but I did find some solid pieces for myself, so it wasn't a wasted trip. Bonus points because they were running orange tags at 75% off, which definitely helped soften the pricing sting. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm already in the area. Would I make a 45-minute drive just for this store again? Probably not. Overall, CommunityAid Temple is clean, well-organized, easy to shop, and way less stressful than a lot of thrift stores. I found items for size 12 girl, 13 year old girl and women's sizes. There is a wide assortment of clothes from baby to adult. I saw nice shoes and accessories. There was a wide assortment of puzzles and toys. The store smells fresh, you can tell that the items have been washed before placing them in the store. Unfortunately, as much as I tried they fell flat for me. I feel like it's someone's unorganized storage of ebay listings...and it could very well be. I don't think they know what they have in there and nothing appears to have any kind of organization with the exception of Christmas and artwork. I found a piece of artwork I did like, but was deferred by the prices (ebay prices, higher than thrift, more in line with an antique store) and the fact that it was stored so unresponsibly that it was damaged. I was greeted upon entry, so the staff (owners? who sit in a little room off the entrance door) were friendly. Everything else was a miss, from the lack of cleanliness, high prices, weird configuration of the parking, weak floorboards upstairs, and just the fact that the majority of what they sell is high for item and condition. Most items did have condition issues, with the exception of some newer (Target?) items on the first floor which were priced at retail. I suspect they came from a pallet purchase. If you're looking for deals there's much better places in the area.
