The lady who answered the phone was polite and I was expecting a lot more based on the favorable reviews. I found the items to be quite overpriced. I disliked how the prices on many items were written on with a magic marker too. Who wants to deal with that as a buyer? I was interested in home decor and found nothing. There were some interesting items but I chalk it up to a waste of time. I doubt I'll go back- I would prefer to trek down to Good Will else-wear. The Good Will stores are much cleaner and brighter. The interior was dark and dingy. I wasn't impressed with what I saw. I attribute that possibly to the area. Hazleton Good Will doesn't offer much either.

In all, we bought some apple dumplings, fudge, a desk (which was priced very well), and a few bottles of wine. Annie and Miss Betty were so wonderful to chat with, and the gentleman at Edelholz and the guys moving the antiques in were very nice, too! They were also having a rummage sale in what usually is the greenhouse (but is closed for the season) and my husband found a beer growler to add to his collection. It seems like they have a lot of stuff constantly coming in for the antiques section so it may be worth a second look. It's definitely worth a stop and is one of those places where you could spend either a few minutes (if you know what you're stopping for) or an hour or so (if you are just browsing)! All in all, I'd recommend stopping!

If you've got some time and love a hunt this is a fun spot. Got some bath and body lotions and array of high end soaps for 99c also bought a bunch of play clothes for my toddler. Found a few hidden gems like Zara and polo for my husband. They have a tag system and a lot was half off. Shoes were limited. Bigger sizes limited. Lots of toys, glassware and larger furniture pieces at cheap cost! Would be a good spot if you're a flipper. Costumer service was so friendly. Signs posted everywhere that there are no public restrooms so when my 3 year old had to use restroom I was prepared to leave and come back but the woman behind the counter said we could use the restroom for an emergency when I asked where the closest place was! Hughesville is small and I appreciate the small town vibes and kindness goes a long way! Well done and for a good cause. Def returning!

There is a room off to the right with all enclosed glass cabinets. One of the cabinets in the first row (it has video game cartridges in it, etc) had small roaches crawling around inside of it on the shelves and games!! There were some item I did want to buy, but after seeing that there was no way I was buying anything. If you see a few there are definitely more. And for them to be out in the daytime means the place is infested. We immediately went home and washed our clothes bc we were completely freaked out. The smell in the place is awful as well. Especially in the basement. There are many other well kept antique stores to visit. I would avoid this one.
