We stayed on the main floor (not enough time) so there could be even more floors, who knows. Staff were wearing masks, no sanitizing in between people or the pens we used to sign but there is hand sanitizer at the pick up counter. There are public restrooms on the main floor. Many vendor booths with actual antiques, memorabilia, vintage jewelry, kitchenware, tools, comic books, records, train stuff (lots of O scale) - definitely something for everyone. There was also a room of cases and cases in other spots too. We bought several comic books, a vintage pin, a Hess truck, an HO train car, a book (100 yrs old) and a few other things. Housed in a restored historic building prior to its present use, the Olde Engine Works began operating as a machine shop that built huge, steam-powered hoists (winches) used mainly for lumbering and quarrying in 1903, located on 3rd Street in Stroudsburg. Since 1993, it's been an indoor antique establishment of nearly 22,000 sq ft with 100 vendors offering the finest selection of collectibles, furniture, and treasures in all of the Poconos, where my partner, his sister, and I came today. Upon entering this spacious, well-maintained, and carefully organized interior as first-timers, it was like stepping into a time machine powered by vintage lamps, antique knick-knacks, and furniture. Some booths were a little tight to walk through, but not bad. There is so much stuff to see one could literally spend several hours in there. We left satisfied with a china cabinet and solid round table. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can recommend this place.

This place was a really nice size, I'd say it was big but not one of those huge overwhelming places. The inventory was awesome! I saw a lot of cool things that I wanted to buy but I had to be good. I did however get a really cool vintage trinket shelf that was $30 and in excellent condition. I thought the pricing was very fair for the quality of items on sale. Also, the staff saved my trinket shelf behind the register while I shopped the rest of the store so I didn't have to lug it around which was nice! There was a ton of home goods, glassware, baseball and Pokémon cards, and other cool collectibles. I would definitely recommend this as a stop if you're nearby and look forward to visiting again myself!

My son and I stopped in to check out their merchandise and had a great time checking out each booth. They have several aisles full of festive crafts/seasonal/handmade items, antiques, collectibles with quite the variety. The booths were pretty organized. Some would complain there isn't enough of one item, but I liked the selection. We had fun looking through sports cards, Pokémon cards and coins. They also had a handful of trains, but not much. Most booths had: Furniture, jewelry, clothes, CD's, DVD's, dishware, ceramics, books, records, collectibles etc. We spent just over an hour going through the entire building. I'd recommend stopping in if you're in the area and I'll definitely return for a visit.

Having lost a good deal of family in the holocaust that the only way I got to know them was through letters my mom saved,I had to leave this store. When I explained to the person at the front counter why I could not shop at their business,they told me it was a collectible part of history. My stomach turned thinking there are people that would want to save a piece of such blood drenched memory junk.
