They work in conjunction and primarily cater to women's trending but modest fashion and accessories. I've been a bit of a regular customer overjoyed by the owner's fabulous taste in trending women's casual wear and formal wear whom is also knowledgeable about dressing for your body type. By the way, the owners do try their best to offer a great selection in a variety of sizes. And if you need anything shipped, the service is courteous and lightening fast! My only qualm is the unapologetic public drinking on their Facebook Live shows. As a conservative woman, I don't have a problem with drinking but just don't feel it's the most professional decision the owner could make while promoting her business as anyone could be influenced from watching the promo shows.

I don't know what took me so long to write this review as I was here in May 2020 during Covid when…read morethe county I lived in was still in lockdown. There's a campground we like to visit in this general area and after a few trips up this way was happy to have stumbled across this thrift store. Even though I had searched previously for thrift stores for whatever reason it doesn't come up in the search engine. Overall this area is beautiful, but does appear slightly impoverished so I wasn't expecting much as far as name brands, etc. But fortunately I'm not a brand whore and shop for whatever pulls at my heart regardless the name on the label. The store is located in a run down (but probably the largest) shopping plaza in the town of Sunbury. Inside it could have definitely used some tweaking as far as general cleanliness but was organized by dept, items, and loosely by size. Woman's clothing inventory was in abundance and I was happy with the quality and condition I was seeing. In fact I bought a trash bag full of items for myself. The racks were jammed packed and close together. It was difficult to not only social distance but get past someone with a cart. Overall the store was probably at full capacity as far as items it could hold and given the limited amount of thrift stores in this area this location probably gets all the donations for several nearby towns. The staff was pleasant and they even offer their own loyalty card for additional discounts and special days for cardholders. I did have to ask for it after the lady in front of me presented one. Do make sure you ask if not offered (it gave me 50% store wide at another location the next day). So while you may need to shuffle thru and hunt a bit, that's part of the fun. Will definitely go back next time we camp in the area.

Clothing was fair priced, jewelry was priced that you could afford. We drove in from out of town and this was one of several of our stops. It ranked in the top 2. We were there for almost 2 hours. I purchased mostly clothing and jewelry, my husband bought a nice fabric cooler, and some 4th of July decorations. We thought the store was clean. Cashier was friendly, helped with questions, and walked us to a section if we needed. Happy to show us what was in the cases. It was refreshing. We would highly recommend. Visit was Aug 2024

The prices were excellent and it was a walk down memory lane. My husband recognized some items that he used to have in his home growing up. Classic vintage Christmas decorations from decades of Christmases gone by. I was particularly smitten with stock certificates-so many to choose from. Some dates went back to the 1940's. It's amazing to hold something like that in your hands. They also have a magnificent vintage candy area upon the entrance, plus jewelry, home decor, antique tins, and children's toys to name a few. There is so much to see and don't forget to go upstairs! I saw a wicker baby carriage - one just like I used to have. It's amazing that these items have made it through so much time. It's equally incredible at how good the condition of these items are. Enjoy strolling around! It's a beautiful place and I just can't wait to go back.

In all, we bought some apple dumplings, fudge, a desk (which was priced very well), and a few bottles of wine. Annie and Miss Betty were so wonderful to chat with, and the gentleman at Edelholz and the guys moving the antiques in were very nice, too! They were also having a rummage sale in what usually is the greenhouse (but is closed for the season) and my husband found a beer growler to add to his collection. It seems like they have a lot of stuff constantly coming in for the antiques section so it may be worth a second look. It's definitely worth a stop and is one of those places where you could spend either a few minutes (if you know what you're stopping for) or an hour or so (if you are just browsing)! All in all, I'd recommend stopping!

Summer 2024 I have…read morealways enjoyed Studio 895 but lately the last several times I've been there haven't found anything. I know it's hit and miss with any antique type of a place. The store was reconfigured and it looks nice except for my favorite area is gone- the smaller area that had a cart of low priced random items and lots of bargain priced antiques called "salvage". There is a new space called "salvage"- but it's primarily doors and pieces of wood- minus the best part to me-low priced antiques. I asked about this and was told that those items are now sprinkled in the store (I hadn't seen any upon my last few trips) Many of the vendors I liked are gone too. I think the biggest disappointment to me was 2024 almost monthly promotion of a "flea market". I was really excited to check that out! I had expected vendors to be set up in the parking lot- there were cars even parked along the shoulder of 895. You can imagine my surprise when not one vendor was set up and the parking lot was vacant. I felt like that was a bait and switch type thing and it made me fall out of love (I hope only temporarily) with Studio 895. I don't think healthy businesses need to do that. I'm not saying I would never go back but this is why I have not been there and why I have discontinued bringing my friends here and meeting up here. The staff has always been helpful and friendly in the past. I look forward to going back sometime and elevating my review. I hate writing unfavorable reviews but- I also need to be honest. The fake flea market made me feel duped and I had been tricked into wasting my precious weekend time. Maybe something happened that I was not aware of. I'm not on "F" book and I think the business communicates through that channel.
