I was actually planning to go to Anthracite Mercantile. On my way there I found myself in front of Claypoole's. I loved the owners and perusing the store. They were friendly and helpful. There is an abundance of merchandise but the store is not organized. I found the items to be extremely expensive. February is make an offer- but I am not comfortable with this- it would be insulting. I found a vintage glass rooster priced at 24$- I found the exact same item at Studio 895 for 4$. That's a great example of what I'm talking about. It's a fun place to look around- but I'm not likely to purchase anything there. I don't like when retail shops price something ridiculously high and then offer a "discount". Even with said discounts you'll be overpaying.

I had a nice mini conversation with the employee work the past week. She was really kind. In the back there were some cute hats and gloves and other clothing items. I did take notice of some antiques. The pricing for some of it like the antique Christmas trees were a little steep.
