Best home decor store in NEPA without a doubt. Perfect place to pick up a gift around the holidays or a great accent piece for the house.

The most surprising thing is that the prices are better than what the big box stories have for their mediocre furniture. My husband and I recently purchased a second home on the east end of Long Island. Rather than…read morebuying furniture from a local furniture store, we ventured 5 hours west to Kurlancheek's. We thought that buying furniture "long distance" would be difficult and cumbersome. But Ronne made it so easy. We sent pictures of the house along with dimensions and spoke about what we were looking for in terms of specific pieces and our taste. We wanted "country comfortable" combined with a bit of modern and some fun funky pieces, as well. Ronne sent me pictures of her suggestions - which were wonderful. We were thrilled with the outcome - our house is filled with gorgeous furniture and the different "genres" all blend beautifully - from the huge, "squishy" chair in the family room to the industrial electric fireplace made of metal, concrete, and wood in the dining room - it's a showpiece. We ordered 3 bedroom sets as well and a kitchen set - every single piece is just perfect. Ronne picked out some funky end tables and cocktail tables for us and we are so happy with her choices. And, very affordable - such a great value for the quality. Delivery was also made easy, despite the distance - and the 2 guys who came to deliver were professional, friendly, and very helpful - we weren't sure where to put some pieces and they gave us some helpful suggestions and even moved some (very heavy) pieces several times so that we could see what they looked like in different areas - they even helped us set up the cable and internet (You can't ask for more than that). I absolutely would recommend Kurlancheek's to anyone who is shopping for furniture - whether it's just one piece, one room, or an entire house. Ronne turned furniture shopping from a dreaded chore into a pleasure. Caren D. Southold, NY

It wasn't until I was halfway to the back of the store, that I saw an older lady seated at a desk. I wasn't sure she even worked there until she spouted out "What do you want?" Perhaps, she realized the words rolling off her lips may not have been so appropriate to say to a potential customer, so she quickly followed up with a rushed "How may I help you?" I was taken aback. I'd never been greeted this way anywhere else. But I played it off, taking it in stride and replied that I was just looking and I proceeded to do just that. She said nothing else, although she kept her eye on me. As I made my way to the rear of the store, she went into the other half of the store front to a back room area where 2 men were discussing business. As I walked into the other half as well I over heard her say to them "I don't want to deal with this today..." I lost the rest of what she said and their replies as I moved toward the front of their second room. The gist of it became obvious as the 2 men stepped out into the first room to continue their conversation. The woman made sure she checked on me by peaking around the corner until I looked at her. I decided at that point it was time to leave. I left the store the way I came and bade the woman a good day. I could talk about their inventory and prices but that service kind of defeats that point. I'm not sure what she thought I was planning on stealing in a furniture store but I'm pretty sure that nothing in there would have been easily concealed under my jacket. I could not imagine trying to explain to the police how a nightstand wound up under my coat. Given this experience, I don't think I could recommend Bell Furniture to anyone.
